A Twist for Good
Description
Sungyeol’s life had been a hell ever since his father remarried with that fat, ugly, infamous loan shark of the country, his new stepmother and stepbrother that tagged along with her. There were several servants in the house, but his stepmother just decided to call upon him every single time. He had to face the truth. He was just Cinderella without his prince charming.
Foreword
‘Lee Sungyeol! Where’s my usual cup of tea?’ Sungyeol’s stepmother shrieked at the top of her voice.
‘It’s on your table, ma’am.’ That’s right. Ma’am. Sungyeol didn’t even want to call her his mum. Not like she wanted him to anyway. Sungyeol watched as she picked up her tea, drank a mouthful and spit that mouthful of tea along with her saliva all onto him. Sungyeol closed his eyes as he felt his brain screaming out loud.
‘It’s COLD! Go fetch me another cup you parasite of this house! You useless little freak.’ She scolded and Sungyeol tried to move away from her, since she was going to shower him with her disgusting saliva if he didn’t stand far away enough.
‘Yes ma’am. I’ll go get you another cup.’ Sungyeol bowed as he went downstairs to the kitchen.
It was only 7a.m. in the morning, but Sungyeol already felt exhausted.
