Chapter 4: Mutual feelings
Twinkling Hearts 반짝 하트So Yeon's POV
waa~ I'm so excited today.. it's... HyoRi's birthday!! =D and we are going to celebrate it at their house!! =D
I was searching for something to wear on her birthday party... I browsed my closet... since it was a cold day.. I chose to wear this:
I changed my clothes and went down stairs.. ]
"Where are you going? you seem dressed up." my mother asked,
"I'm going to HyoRi's house" I replied,
"Oh! it's her birthday today right? greet her for me" she said,
"Ne~,... I'm leaving now! annyeong!" I said as I planted a kiss on her cheek,

it was already 3:00 PM when I arrived at their house..
"SoYeon-ah!" HyoRi shouted, "Omo~! you look so good! Happy birthday HyoRi~" I said, "Ne..hehehe gomawo~.. hurry! let's go to the backyard!" she said..
We went to their backyard ..O_O.. wow there are sure a lot of people.. some are her relatives..family friends... my classmates were there too.. O.O... Jinyoung is here?!
"Yah~! HyoRi! why did you invite Jinyoung?!" I whispered to her, "What? am I not allowed to invite him? he is still our classmate" she said, "still! you know I don't want to get close to him >.<" I said, "I know! that's why I invited him! bleeeh~" T_T.. HyoRi is teasing me..sticking her tongue out..
=__=.. I was sitting on a chair alone.. while taking glances at Jinyoung's direction..
I was just spacing out.. while HyoRi is talking to her family... then I took my diary out from my bag and wrote:
"Why am I struggling to hold on to someone who isn't mine in the first place?"
then sombody held my shoulder from the back.."Annyeonghaseyo, SoYeon-ssi" I got scared as I immediately closed my diary.. "J..J..Jinyoung-ssi!" I stuttered >.<
"oh, sorry to startle you.. what were you doing a while ago?"
O_O why would he care? >.< I mean.. "Oh~... a..ani... i..it was n..nothing.." I stuttered >.< he almost saw what I wrote down in my diary >.<
"anyways.. can I ask for a favor?"
O.o? favor why me?.. "s..sure!" I said,
"it's not really a favor.. but.. about our project.. I won't be able to help you so... can you just do it? I still have important matters to do besides school.."
O_O... he is talking to me?.. every word he utters makes my heart skip a hundred beats >.< ..
"oh.. our group project.. s..sure..I.. I think.. it's fine.." I said,
"Yes! gomawo SoYeon-ssi!!!" he said like he just won a lottery O_O.. what does he need to do anyways..

"Ok! all of my classmates, schoolmates in this party! follow me!" HyoRi announced, o.O?.. I followed her.. we went inside their house and went to the living room.. we scattered in there.. and we squated on the floor forming a big circle "Tada!" HyoRi said holding a big empty bottle "Truth or Dare!" She said excitedly, "what! we don't want to play Truth or Dare!" one of my classmates said, "Don't worry it would be fine!" she said as she turned the lights low..
HyoRi spinned the bottle and one of my classmates got hit "Truth or dare?" HyoRi asked, "Dare!" she said, "since your the hairstylist in our room.. put SoYeon's hair up!" HyoRi said "what! nooo~! I don't want to put my hair up!" I refused, "A dare is a dare!" my classmate said.. my classmate tied my hair up.. >.< I don't like it... then I placed my hat on my head to hide my face >.<..
HyoRi spinned the bottle again.. and the guy who hates me,DongMin, got hit.. "Truth or dare?" HyoRi asked, "Truth.." He said, O.O.. wow he's confident.. "Who among of our girl classmates you like best..?" HyoRi asked, "..." He kept quiet.. "can I choose dare instead?" he asked, "Ani!" HyoRi refused.. "..." he kept quiet again as he looked at me with a glare O.o.. that scared me.. he looks like he's going to kill me.. "hurry!" HyoRi said, "...SoYeon-ssi.." he said-- WHAT!!!!!??? "BWO?!!! me?! you hate me right?!! how could you like me?!!" I said as I stood up.. and covered my mouth... then sat down again.. and looked down.. my cheeks are so hot.. a guy is confessing to me.. I thought he hates me >.<... my classmates were teasing him.. I took a peek at Jinyoung.. seems like he didn't care at all..
another spin... it hit me.. O.O... I just looked at the bottle and kept quiet.. "hahaha! SoYeon! Truth or dare?" HyoRi said... oh no.. this gonna be bad.. "d..d..dare!" I said as I brushed my bangs down to my eyes.. "Hug DongMin!" HyoRi said, "..w..what?.. I don't want to.." I said.. "come on you chose dare! so do it!" HyoRi said.. "..f...fine.." I said as I slowly stood up.. I went near DongMin while looking down.. >.< my heart is beating so fast! my whole body is trembling.. when DongMin stood up, my heart skipped a beat.. I slowly and I mean slowly spread my arms to him.. and eventually he was the one who hugged me first.. O.O... my classmates were like "aiyeeeee~!" teasing.. he was hugging me tight.. does he really like me that much?.. why?.. I don't deserve this..
I look at Jinyoung.. he was just looking at us.. and he looks slighty amused.. >.< why?.. won't he try to see me? can't he see that I like him?.. he's driving me crazy.. my heart feels stabbed.. it is dying inside... I dropped a tear on my cheek as I whispered to myself.. "I just can't do this anymore.." DongMin slightly heard me speak "what did you say?" he asked as he let me go.. "nothing.." I said, "Omo! your crying!" HyoRi said, "mianhe SoYeon!" HyoRi added.. "ani.. I didn't cry because of you or DongMin.. I just felt like crying.." I said as I dropped a fake smile..
... I care too much for someone that doesn't even think about me for a second... it hurts... a lot.. I sat down.. as HyoRi spinned the bottle again.. it hit Jinyoung.. gimme a break.. I can't take any disappointments again.. "Truth or dare?" HyoRi asked as some of my classmates were giggling.. "dare" he said, "sing a song! I heard you have a nice voice!" HyoRi said, O.O.. he sings?.. >.<... "ok.." Jinyoung said..
"♬ ...... ♬...... ♬"
he's killing me a lot... knowing I can never have him... never...
every word he sings is planted inside my heart..
as soon as he finished singing.. HyoRi's parents called her to blow the candles.. everyone in the room went out to the backyard.. I was slowly leaving the room..
Everyone watched HyoRi blow the candles.

... the party ended at 6:00 PM.. then I immedately went home.. I was at the bus stop.. waiting.. while writting on my diary:
"It's so frustrating to explain. I wish you could just know exactly how I feel about you..."
I took a deep breath and closed my diary.. this day seem so long..
someone took the seat beside me.. I looked at my side and I saw Jinyoung.. I didn't mind him.. I don't want to.. but my heart is skipping a lot.. my eyes are feeling hot.. and it wants to drop a tear but I stopped it..
"SoYeon-ssi? are you alright?" he asked-- wait, did he just remember my name? O.O.. I looked at him and said "I..I'm fine.."
"but you seem moody since the truth or dare game" he said, =_=.. why would he care?..
"nothing.. I'm just tired I think.." I said,
"ok.. how's your wound on your knee?" he asked, why does he keep talking to me?..
"it's fine.. but it still stings in some times.." I said.. I was looking down, my eyes are tired.. I'm sleepy.. for crying..
a bus arrived.. me and Jinyoung went in.. Jinyoung took a seat first
"SoYeon-ssi! here." he said O.O..
he wants me to sit beside him.. O.O... my heart is gonna die.. but it's still beating for him.. I slowly went to his seat and sat down.. and again.. I was looking down, my cheeks are hot, no, my face is hot.. my eyes are tired.. my whole body is trembling.. and I can't hide my face because my hair is tied up.. I was about to remove my hair tie but Jinyoung stopped me..
"don't, you look good tying your hair up" he said O.O.. I looked at him.. then looked down again.. did he just said I look good? >.<...
"Jinyoung.." wa.. gah!!!! I accidentally uttered his name!!!
"what?" he asked,
"n..nothing..--- I mean.. gomawo..." I said.. phew~ saved..
"oh.." he said..
my eyes.. are.. tired.. I accidentally fell asleep.. oh no..
Jinyoung's POV
SoYeon fell asleep.. I'm admitting I like her.. it took me a lot of guts for me to ask her to sit beside me... at our truth or dare game, I was pretending I didn't care that DongMin hugged him.. I acted that I look amused..I actually want to be in DongMin's side.. I'm such a coward.. I can't tell SoYeon what I feel.. while I was singing.. I was thinking of SoYeon..
she was asleep.. the bus was almost and I mean almost near to my destination but I did not left the bus.. I slowly pushed SoYeon's head to my shoulders.. as I brushed her bangs out of her face.. I caressed her face.. her cheeks were wet.. she was crying.. I took my hankie and wiped her tears.. I took advantage of the moment... why does she always hide her face? when even when she's asleep she looks like an angel..
SoYeon woke up and I pretended to fall asleep..
SoYeon's POV
I woke up.. O.O.. my head is on Jinyoung's shoulders.. I looked at him and sighed a relief.. phew~.. he was asleep.. >.< he looks so handsome when he's asleep
About time that I woke up the bus already arrived near my neighborhood.. wait.. why didn't Jinyoung left the bus.. oh.. he's asleep.. I need to wake him up.. I slowly woke him up "Jinyoung-ssi.. the bus already passed your destination.." I said, "Oh.. gomawo.." he said, "annyeong~" I said as I waved at him.. he also waved at me.. I got off the bus and went to my house..
