Aileen's decision
His name is Leo“Choose, Ai… who would you like to condemn to hell?”
Leo’s voice is so sweet. Dry, raspy, and sweet. I bet he had never used his vocal chords in years…
He said those words hesitantly, hesitantly. Only audible to my ears. It doesn’t even echo in this cellar. Oh Leo, why do you even have to ask? Whatever the reason you may have, whatever the cause is, I can always get a later explanation.
I will never, ever let you die. I don’t give a single damn about what are you—you are Leo. You are Leo, you’ll forever be Leo, no matter if you are half demon, or Satan’s spawn, or even the devil himself. I don’t care.
I hand him the jagged blade made of blood—it’s so heavy in my arms, and I practically have to hug it just to make sure I don’t drop it to the floor. I made the easiest decision I’ve ever made in years, and I tiptoed to whisper my orders in his ears after he held the blade in his tight grip. Yes, this is the easiest I’ve ever made and I don’t even have to question myself after this.
“Kill them, Leo. Send each and every soul to hell and stay alive for me.”
