Description

A MALE OC / FEMALE IDOL STORY FOR YOU MALE FANFICTION READERS OUT THERE WHO WANT TO PUT THEMSELVES IN THE PLACE OF THE OC FOR ONCE, AND FOR THE LADIES THAT WANT A CHANGE!

Park Shin Hwa is seventeen years old, and an utterly ordinay student at Jeonju Art High School. He studies when needed, spends too much time on the computer, and has a set of friends that are a non-stop factory of innudendos. However, there is one unusual thing in his life; and that is the captivating miss Kim Tae Yeon; who, in his year is simply known as "The Dork".

Can this year be the first year when his slightly stalkerish watching turns in to something more?

Foreword

Like most of the student as Jeonju Art High School, Park Shin Hwa took the bus to school every morning.

Unlike most of the other students, he did not have to.

‘Are you sure you don’t want me to drive you to school today, sweetie?’ His mother, who was a small sweet woman in her mid thirtys smiled at him. Shin Hwa rolled his eyes. She asked him the same question every single morning.

‘No, I’m okay. Can I just have money for the bus?’ He asked, holding back a sign. He wasn’t entirely sure why they needed to go through this charade every morning. His mother quickly pushed a pile of pre-counted money towards him.

‘Thank mum, love you.’ Shin Hwa grabbed the money. He grinned as he dashed out the door. Looking down at his watch, he saw he had four minutes.

He quickly dashed away from the direction of the bus stop, past the small convince shop at the end of his street. He took two right, and a left before stopping at the end of small cul-de-sac. He glanced back down at his green watch.

Twenty four seconds. He thought to himself, as he eagerly watched house number twenty four. Suddenly the front door burst open, and out ran a short slim girl. Her hair was everywhere, and she seemed to be attempting to rub BB cream in to her skin as she ran in to the street.

‘Tae Yeonnie!’ Her mother dashed out the house after her. She held a hair brush in one hand, and a apple in the other. She shoved the apple in her daughter’s blazer pocket before quickly pulling the brush through her hair.

‘Umma! That hurts.’ Tae Yeon whimpered, hopping on one leg as she tried to tie her black school sneakers. Shin Hwa peaked around the corner, and laughed softly to himself as he watched the scene unfold.

Kim Tae Yeon was predictable. Every morning at exactly 8:05am she would rush out her house, and have to mostly get ready in the drive way. Shin Hwa presumed her alarm went off at 8am, and she just never remembered to set it earlier.

‘Hold still.’ Her mother said in a soft voice, pulling the hair brush through her long black hair.

‘Umma, that’ll do, bye bye!’ Tae Yeon said, turning away from her mother, and starting to sprint down the road. She ran past Shin Hwa who was partially hidden behind a street sign. Shin Hwa walked quickly after her.

The bus that stopped right outside the school came at ten minutes past the hour every hour, meaning if you didn’t catch the bus that left at 8:10am, you would be massively late for school.

Shin Hwa had curiously followed Tae Yeon every morning for the past year. She had never once spotted him, and she had also never missed the bus. Although he had many times, mostly due to the fact he couldn’t run right behind Tae Yeon; or risk looking extremely suspicious.

However, it seemed he was not going to miss the bus today. Tae Yeon arrived at the bus stop an entire thirty seconds before the bus did, meaning Shin Hwa could easily jog on to the bus just in time.

The bus route that went to school wasn’t a very popular bus service, so there was normally a lot of seats. However, it seemed that today was the senior citizen discount day; and the entire bus was filled with over sixties.

There was however just one free seat. Shin Hwa had to suppress a smile, as he spotted that it was next to Tae Yeon.

Shin Hwa wasn’t exactly sure what had driven him to like Tae Yeon so much. But he was pretty sure it was her daring personality that he liked the best. She seemed to just own who she was; and defiantly continued her dorky ways not matter how much teasing she got. Not to mention the fact she was drop dead gorgeous. Long legs, good body, pretty face, enchanting smile. There wasn’t really a part of her he wasn’t attracted to.

‘Did you want to sit here?’ A voice suddenly asked Shin Hwa. He shook his head quickly, breaking himself out of his day dream. His eyes widened as his eyes landed on Tae Yeon. It was her voice. His eyes widened as she looked at him carefully.

‘Y-yes please.’ Shin Hwa said nervously. He tried to laugh to make the entire situation less awkward. He rubbed the back of his neck as he internally punched himself.

Get your together Shin Hwa! He thought to himself.

Tae Yeon’s eyes flickered to his school uniform, which of course was the same as hers, only in a male version.

‘Weren’t you in my English class last year?’ Tae Yeon suddenly asked in a curious tone.

She remembers! Shin Hwa yelled internally.

‘I think so.’ He replied in a fake calm, confident and uncaring voice.

‘Yah! Weren’t you also the one who killed the class goldfish?’ She asked quickly. Her tone danced with amusement.

, she remembers. Shin Hwa whimpered to himself.

‘No, I don’ t think that was me.’ Shin Hwa lied. Tae Yeon peered at his name tag which was pinned to his blazer jacket.

‘Park Shin Hwa? I’m pretty sure it was you...’ She said trailing off in a pensive tone. She stated laughing. ‘It was funny thought, even if it did mean an untimely death for Mr Sparkles.’ She giggled. ‘You really didn’t know goldfish crackers aren’t for goldfish?’

‘It wasn’t me.’ Shin Hwa insisted for a second time. Tae Yeon looked at him suspiciously.

‘Are you sure?’ Like really sure?’ She asked. Shin Hwa nodded quickly, he felt his face turning red. Tae Yeon suddenly leaned over him to press the button. It dinged, and the bus came to a stop.

‘This is our stop.’ Tae Yeon said, as he forgot to move. Shin Hwa quickly jumped up, letting her pass first before following her off the bus.

‘See you around some time I guess.’ Tae Yeon said, waving quickly before running off to catch up with one of her friends.

Shin Hwa grinned to himself as he watched her disappear. His first real conversation with Kim Tae Yeon, hadn’t gone as badly as expected... even if she did remember he killed the class gold fish.
