Tttttrrrrrriiiiiinnnnnngggggggggggggggg * my alarm screamed on top of it’s voice. Not wanting to hear it scream again I woke up and shut it down. I dragged myself to refresh in super speed. My office car was waiting for me before I could finish my breakfast. I was already browsing through the latest business news and fashion updates. I was engrossed into what was happening around the world and scheduling my day.

I walked to my office, greeting everyone. As a daily practice, I open the windshields of my window to let the sunlight come in and smell the fresh flowers that decorates my room. As usual, I did my routine and looked up to see Siwon thought the glass door, concentrating in his work and then it hits me…the confession, the kiss, the drive and the dinner tonight. I was standing frozen looking at him, with soo mnay thought running trough my mine. It was in this very spot that I kissed him and a few meters away, he kissed me.

“Good morning!” I heard Yan Suk come in with my Chai Latte and interrupting my thoughts.

“Hi Yan Suk! Come in” I said cutting my vision of Siwon because I noticed that Yan Suk looking at me starring at Siwon.

“What do we have in schedule today?”

“Well, we have quiet a few things today.”

“Ok even I have a few things scheduled today. Lets they to incorporate both our schedules yes?”

“ok so lets start off with….” Yan Suk started narrating the plan for the day, but my mind was not with me, but with the dinner plan tonight, what and how will Siwon react today at work? Do I have to do something?  Thoughts….so many thoughts.

She was watching from the other side of the glass door. But I pretended not to see her and just stared into blank white sheets. Should I say something to her? may be ask her about last night? I don’t know.

It was 6.00 as the international news briefed me on the happening around the world. It also announced to me that I have to get ready for the dinner. But before that, should I even get ready?  “God why am I feeling this nervous? Come on Dara, you are a strong girl and nothing can harm you.” I told myself.

I went t my closet and picked out my favorite leather dress. It is a body hugging sleeveless dress, which well defines my curves. I wore light eye make up and tinted my lips in bright red. I wore my 5 inch black heel with black tiger print. I was all ready and I took one last look at myself in the mirror. “Just tell him how and what you feel Dara. He is a colleague and that day you just got a bit tipsy and that’s why you acted that way. Apologies if needed.” I told my self.

tring tring* I heard my phone buzz. “I’m waiting for you.” he said from the other side. “two minutes and Ill be there.” I replied.

I walked to the gate to see a well groomed Siwon leaning against the car with his hands in his pocked and gazing the ground. He was doing absolutely nothing, but there was something in the way he looked and aura he had at that moment. “Hi” I said. He gave me a killer smile and said “hi”

We did not speak a single word during our journey tot eh restaurant. I noticed we arrived at a authentic Mediterranean restaurant and Mediterranean cuisine was my favorite.

We were guided in by a friendly waiter who showed our table in the corner near the wine cellar. Siwon pulled the chair for me to settle in it.

“You look beautiful today.” He broke the silence.

“Thank you! Your not bad yourself.”

“Thanks I took some effort for tonight’s dinner.”

“Why is that?”

“Because I wanted to talk to you not as a colleague, but as someone else.”

“As who?”

“As someone who would like to take the present relationship a few steps further”

“Siwon, just cut to the chase?”

“Alright, I like you. I really do. Will you be my girlfriend and go out with me?”

I listen to the words that came out from his mouth without letting out my breath. i could not believe what I was hearing was all true. Siwon just asked me to be his girlfriend. But how do I feel? Do I have the same feelings towards him? It is a fact that I could not stand him working so closely with that blond chick, but….but…..i’m very confused.

“Dara? Dara?” he called out for me as I had spaced out.

“you ok?”

“Yes, im sorry….. can I take a sometime to answer you?”

“Yes…..sure.”

“But before that, Siwon, I want to ask you something.”

“Yeah, go ahead.”

“Why me?”

“Because, I’ve liked since day 1 I met you. I still remember the way you walked into that conference room, with pride, smile, ego and warmth. I liked how you treated yourself with respect and at the same time treated the people around you with respect. I like it. I liked the way you work. In this corporate world where everything is just money and profit and loss, I noticed how you tapped on the humane side of people, which made it enjoyable for them to work for our company. It showed your compassion and the belief in people you had. Lastly, you are just cute. I saw the way you were the other day at the shoot. Restless and jealous. It was adorable to see that’s ide of you.”

“ First off, I’m neither cute nor adorable”  as I said this I saw Siwon let out a laughter

“Why are you laughing?”

“Because, you are just to cute now, stealing more of my heart.”

“Ok, stop it Siwon……this is just too sudden for me.  i…..don’t know anything about you. Then how can I go out with you?”

“that is exactly why we should go out. To know more about each other and….”

“I’m sorry, but I need some time. I never expected such a turn of event here, but I need my space and time”

“Sure take your time. But this is how I feel about you and it will not change.”

I looked at him with disbelief in my eyes. A guy a thought is filled with ego and stubbornness from head to toe, is right in front of me confessing his feelings. Which is his true self?
