You heard a few clinks in the kitchen, making your eyes open groggily as your arm moved up and down on the bed where you tried to feel the person who is supposed to be beside you. You frowned and opened your eyes wider than before, turning to your side only to realize that he wasn’t in bed with you. Your eyes closed again with a smaller frown, laying in bed with your brain contemplating if you should go after him or just continue sleeping.

Your heart was never that selfish, so… you sat up with a soft grunt. You rubbed your face a few times before you swung your legs to the side to plant them on the ground. “Where is he…?” Your voice was quiet, coming out in a mere whisper as you pushed yourself up from the bed. For some reason, you couldn’t even tell what time it was but you knew it was late at night – based on how dark it still was without much lights on. You had your hands still on your face, rubbing your eyes as you took tiny steps out from the bedroom, down the hallway as your pace got slower when you didn’t even know where you were walking to.

He could only smile when he heard footsteps, turning around to see that you were standing by the kitchen doorway that you weren’t aware of either. He could see how tired you were but because you somehow noticed he wasn’t in bed with you, there you are now. He smiled, shaking his head as he stared at you, leaning his hip against the counter where he grinned at you lovingly – you looked so cute when you were sleepy. It didn’t help that you had this oversized hoodie along with a pair of shorts on. He had the exact same hoodie but he was wearing boxers along with it as he continued staring at you, hoping you’d notice but you were too tired to notice anything.

Your hands continued to rub your face until you heard a soft whistle coming from the kitchen. You let out a soft gasp, lifting your chin to weakly lock gazes with him as he grinned at you.

“M-Min…” You croaked out quietly, causing him to chuckle as he motioned you over with his hand. You followed him as you were still blur but you had no idea what was going on either. When you stood in front of him, you yelped quietly when he hoisted you up to place you on the counter. Your eyes could open properly now as you looked at him. He gave you a toothy grin before he proceeded to stand beside you with a piece of bread in his hands.

You blinked at the bread, before looking at him with a small pout, “You’re eating…?”

He chuckled, nodding his head, “Guilty as charged.”

You couldn’t help but laugh quietly, making his heart flutter at how pretty you looked even though you just woke up in the middle of the night, “At this hour?”

He nodded with a frown, “I’m hungry…” His lips parted where he pinched some bread into his mouth – his lips chewing the bread as if he hasn’t eaten in days. Nevertheless, he still looked so dashing and handsome as he did so; he was so good looking to your eyes.

Your hand reached over to his head easily, since you were slightly taller sitting on the counter where your hand ruffled his hair, “Dinner wasn’t enough for you?”

He couldn’t help but shake his head adorably, “I didn’t eat much there – everything they served wasn’t up to my forte…” His lips kept chewing on the bread where you sighed, leaning back against the glass wall behind you. He pinched some bread, his hand lingering in front of your lips where he asked you to open your lips cutely, “Ah.” He called out, motioning you with his eyes to part your lips. Your lips parted slowly, allowing him to feed you some bread. He used the back of his hand to lightly close your mouth where he smirked at you, “Good girl.”

You snorted when he sat on the counter beside you, “Are you that hungry?”

You couldn’t help but chuckle as he responded with a muffled ‘huh?’ as his face was stuffed with bread. Your thumb reached over to brush off the crumbs at the corner of his lips, “I guess I’ll take that as a yes.”

You somehow pitied him – Xiumin has lost so much weight from his diet plan and from the immense work out he pushes himself through to get this figure. It wasn’t for vanity sake but he wanted to be healthier and reach his perfect BMI that unknowingly, he slimmed down a lot. You still loved him the same and his metabolism rate increased, which led to how much he would eat but he won’t gain weight much considering he exercises a lot now.

You got off the counter with a small smile, “How about I make you your favorite ramen?”

His eyes sparkled at you, “R-Really?”

You couldn’t help but chuckle, shaking your head where you stood in front of him, pulling him down by the string on his hoodie where his face was suddenly so close to yours. He blinked at you rapidly but you only smiled, “As long as it gets you full, of course.”

He grinned at you, “Thank you, darling…”

You lightly kissed his nose, “You’re welcome.”
