"Hana, Dara's waiting for you at the door."
"Thanks mum." I ushered her away as I finished dressing and slipped on my blazer.
Checking out my reflection in the mirror I cringed. Who ever decided school uniforms should be worn was a cruel, cruel person. Back in America they didn't make us wear them and I never realised how much I’d taken that for granted. I'd kept my hair down and loose so it was slightly wavy, pinning back the sides. Like usual, I wore little makeup, just a slight powdering of foundation, a little mascara and lip balm. I honestly had no patience for applying makeup thickly every morning. Or at all, really.
Slipping on my black pumps I headed out into the hall with a smile on my face and gave my mum a quick peck on her cheek.
"Hey, thanks for walking with me to schoo-" I paused as I caught sight of an unwanted figure leaning just a little way away against the wall.
My eyes immediately zeroed in on his impressive physique, which his school shirt did little to hide. His blazer was missing and his shirt untucked, giving him a messy 'bad boy' appearance that fit in well with his dark presence - and of course, what I knew about him. It took everything in me to drag my eyes from inspecting him further and instead plaster on a sneer.
"What's he doing here?"
"Didn't you hear, Little Girl? I go to your school, too." Myungsoo told me, his tone falsely cheerful.
"Ah yeah, I remember now." I nodded. "Because you got held back." His eyes narrowed slightly and I grinned.
Dara sighed. "Claws away you two, we're only walking to school, it hardly needs to be a battlefield."
I hooked my arm through hers and we walked ahead, leaving Myungsoo to follow behind. But no matter how much I tried to ignore his presence behind me, it was impossible. The urge to turn around and have just another glance at him in his uniform was keeping my mind occupied.
I was snapped out of my daze as I collided with the person heading towards me.
"I'm so sorry." I gushed, bowing lowly.
A deep voice chuckled.
"No problem." I looked up and blinked at the handsome guy standing before me.
His hair was dark and fell into his equally obsidian eyes, which were deeply slanted. He projected an aura of mystery and danger, quite alike Myungsoo, though his felt less forbidding. He wore our school uniform and like Myungsoo, he looked incredible in it, even if his was done up proper, like mine. Blazer on, shirt tucked in, shoes polished... He looked pristine. Between him, Myungsoo and Dara I was beginning to wonder if I was heading to a school of supermodels.
"Close your mouth before you catch a fly." Myungsoo snapped, suddenly appearing at my side and pushing Dara behind him.
I closed it quickly and shot him a dirty look.
"What are you doing here?" He asked of the stranger, his tone far from polite.
"I didn't realise I wasn't allowed to be?" The stranger countered easily.
He seemed completely unaffected by the hostile tone of Myungsoo's voice and the protective stance he held in front of Dara. I watched the exchange with interest.
"Just leave it, Oppa." Dara pleaded.
"You should listen to your sister." The stranger suggested, before his eyes flicked back towards me and a small smile appeared on his lips. "I don't think I've ever seen you in school before."
"I've just moved here." I explained, ignoring the dark look I was receiving from Myungsoo. "I'm Jung Yoon-Hana."
"Tao." He nodded, though didn't offer much else. "I'll catch you around beautiful." He winked, before shooting Myungsoo a smug look and walking around us, strolling off down the sidewalk.
I watched him go with interest, something which Myungsoo didn't miss.
"Don't speak to him." He ordered. "He's not somebody y
