I stared at the cell Tao lead me to, Sehun and Chanyeol trailing behind him.
"Thanks." I whispered sarcastically.
"Don't take it out on us." Sehun muttered. "We told you, we-"
"I know I know." I sighed, pushing my hair from my face wearily. "I'm sorry. I just... I don't know what to do."
Tao hung his head, his dark bangs covering his eyes. We stood in the hall where the cells where, where Myungsoo's brother was no doubt sleeping in the end one. Stepping into my own cell quietly I let Chanyeol close the bars and lock it, sealing me in. I sat on the hard bench that was supposed to be my bed and watched them leave wordlessly, as unsure as they were on what to say anymore.
I had two options. Either I could try and escape somehow, make my way back to Myungsoo and Dara and warn them or I could stay here and be used as a Human guineapig. Neither option appealed to me, but both options were equally important. Leaving meant giving the Demons a warning, providing them with time and the means to fight back against EXO and MR.MR where as staying meant giving the Demon Hunters the power to destroy the Demons once and for all. I had no idea what would become of me if I stayed here and the Demons were killed (would I be killed in the end, too?).
Two choices. Two different futures. One meant I could potentially die being tested on, whereas the other meant living a life of evil with Demon's I'd come to care for.
Hanging my head I felt the tears splash down my face, the sobs wrenching from my chest at the inability to decide.
"Looks like you've hit rock bottom."
My head lifted up sharply. "Kim Moonsoo?" I confirmed.
"The one and only. Did you miss Oppa?" He drawled.
"Hardly." I scoffed, before leaning forward eagerly. "I... I don't suppose you're in a talkative mood?"
"Depends. Are you finally taking me up on that 'Birds and Bees' chat?"
"As if!" Sighing I leaned back. "Are you always this infuriating?"
"Yes."
"Good to know." Clearly my time here in captivity was going to be annoying.
"I know what you want to ask me, little girl, and the answer is yes."
"Yes to what?" I frowned.
"'Yes', there is a way out of the Bonding. I know my sister and brother dearest will have kept it from you."
I ran at the bars and pressed against them closely, attempting to see into his cell. "Tell me! Your kind-"
"Now now, Hana. You must know information doesn't come freely."
"Then name your price!" I begged. "Please, you have to tell me!"
"Then you promise to do whatever I wish in exchange for my information?"
"Yes!"
He chuckled lowly, the sound menacing. "I'll hold you to your word, Hana." He warned darkly. "Now as for that information..."
I draw in a sharp breath expectantly, but Moonsoo was stopped from speaking as footsteps sounded outside the cell rooms door. As it swung open, I managed to spot a group heading our way and quickly retreated to my bench-bed.
"Hana." The MR.MR member called Chang-Jae smirked into my cell. "Leader wants to know if you're willing to co-operate, now you've had time to reflect."
"Bite me." I hissed. "I'll never willingly help you!"
"Too bad... I don't enjoy hurting girls, you know." With a laugh he gestured towards the group of men
