Collaboration
Only in Fiction...
This is the link to the romanization, hangul, and english lyrics of the song. The chapter was kind of short, but I really wanted to put this out. Expect another update within the next few days. What do you think should happen next?
The problem is that when I first started writing this story, Yoseob was my bias. But now, my bias is Junhyung. I don't want to change the whole story, but I don't want to cut it off. I mean, now that I think about it. Junhyung seems to fit the ice prince type better than the bubbly Yoseob. What should I do?
Oh and this is a picture of Jaehwa: http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg233/scaled.php?server=233&filename=jungroo15qj6.jpg&res=landing Does she fit the description?

“NE?!” Jaehwa burst out in disbelief at her manager’s words.
“It’s true. Sajangnim called just now and said the preparations were set for you to begin recording with your new partner.”
“Did he say who I’m collaborating with?”
“He didn’t say. He just said to show up at the recording room at 7 sharp tomorrow morning.”
Jaehwa was surprised. She had only debuted less than a month ago, and the CEO was already putting her in a subunit. I’m really honored…but I wish I knew who I’m partnered up with…she thought wistfully, looking forward to the next day.
-----------------------------------------
Jaehwa rubbed her eyes sleepily as she waited for her partner to show up. He was nearly thirty minutes late, and the producers were starting to get annoyed. To save time, they had played the guide song for Jaehwa to hear.
The song, titled ‘Love Day’, was about a girl and a boy who wanted to confess to each other, but couldn’t bring themselves to say it out loud. It seemed like the girl wanted to wait a while before telling her feelings. As Jaehwa analyzed the lyrics, her heart beat rapidly in her chest. Her parts of the song described exactly how she felt about a certain someone. It couldn’t have been more fitting.
“I don’t know what’s keeping him,” one of the producers said, sighing as he fiddled with the instruments laid out in front of him on the switchboard. “We’ll just have to start without him.”
Jaehwa really wanted to ask who “him” was. But she felt that questions would just irk them further. So she stayed quiet, nodding as she stepped into the soundproof area. After signaling that she was ready, the opening piano notes of the song played through the large headphones.
I have been really wondering
I have been wondering of everything
Why can’t I sleep
When I saw your face
She subtly tilted her head to the side, silently asking if her vocals were alright. The producers nodded in approval, gesturing to continue, skipping her partner’s verses.
Truthfully, to me, this feeling is strange
As if there’s a cloud in my stomach when you’re here
Just as the music made a crescendo towards the chorus, the door opened. Not wanting any distractions, Jaehwa closed her eyes to pour her emotions into the verse.
I really really like you
I love you that I’m going mad
I want to say the same thing
I hope you don’t mind,
Let’s just wait a little longer…
As she held the note, she opened her eyes to glance at the producers. But instead, she met eyes with someone else. Gasping, she accidentally choked on the last octave, coughing slightly in shock. A voice came in over the speakers, “It’s okay, Jaehwa-ssi. The other parts were perfect. We’ll record the chorus again later. You can take a short break now.”
Jaehwa nodded, unable to speak. Why? Why of all people did it have to be him? She was going through enough already, and now she had to work with him?
When she entered the control room again, she avoided eyes with the one person that was causing her the most pain at the moment. The person that fit the meaningful lyrics of their collaboration song.
Yang Yoseob.
