(Next Day)

“Bye Daddy! See you later!” I kissed Daddy’s cheeks before rushing out of the house with my bag slung across my shoulders.

I had tied my hair into two pigtails, and my usual ‘nerd-wear’.

“Morning guys!” I entered the practice room. GEMS were already doing their stretching with their group members, who were the four ‘poor-things’.

Kai was playing and meddling with his Samsung phone which looked like the newest edition and was in his own little world. Baekhyun was reading a novel and was also….well…in his own little world, but at least he bothered to look up and smile at me…before going back to his book…

“Hi Yena-ah!” I spun around and found E-jin sitting on the floor while tying her shoelaces.

I walked towards her before plopping myself on the wooden floor.

“We will start composing the song for the competition today” I looked up and found Kai standing behind me, talking, but his eyes were still glued on the phone while texting someone.

“Kai-ssi, let’s start composing the song.”

Kai glanced up to look at me before looking back down again.

*This Kai guy sure is cold*

“Don’t worry, Yena-ah, that’s his personality. He’s just a little cold towards people. He have a rule about saying a maximum of five lines a day. Don’t be too bothered by him. ” Baekhyun smiled as he wrapped a hand around my shoulders.

Kai gave Baekhyun a hard stare. Baekhyun just stuck out his tongue,childishly, at him as he shook his head.
