Lost Soul“Let her sit up here and think about it herself Donghae. We have practice.”
I didn’t even look at Leeteuk nor Donghae as he glanced at me before leaving with him. After a few minutes, I went downstairs to confront Leeteuk.
“Hey, I still don’t think any of this is fair.” Leeteuk barely glanced at me. “I was with Jisu! Was that not good enough?!”
“No, it wasn’t since the last time you were with a friend, you ended up sneaking around our backs with some no good kid!”
“That was three years ago! You cannot hold that over my head forever!”
“As long as you are in this house, you will abide by rules and right now you’re grounded!” Leeteuk was fuming, but so was I. For the last three years, I’ve been kept on a tight leash.
“I wish you never would have adopted me.”
“So you could still be out doing who knows what with who knows who?” Leeteuk was in my face now.
And I was not backing down, “At least I’d have my freedom. I’m sure you only did it to make yourself look way better than you are. ‘Super Junior leader adopts homeless girl, he’s such a saint!,” I ended with a mocking tone.
“Sunmi, that’s enough. Go to your room.” When I didn’t move, Kangin shouted, “Now!”
I backed up from Leeteuk and stomped up the stairs to my room.
Over the next couple of days, I was completely ignored. I deserved it, considering what I had said. One morning didn’t go as planned. I expected everyone to ignore me, but I was surprised when Kangin came in to tell me that I had to go with them to the studio. While the boys rehearsed, I walked around the SM building.
