“M-Meet him?”

“That shouldn’t be hard, should it? It’s the least he could do.”

I sat in my chair staring at the door, waiting for Dawook to come in class. Hopefully he wouldn’t come in too late and we could talk.

“Dawook hey!” Minji yelled as he came through the door, he smiled and waved back before taking his seat.

“What’s up guys?”

“Dawook, we need to talk.”

“About what?”

“About yesterday.”  He frowned and I sighed, fully turning to face him. “I asked for time to talk to my brothers. I talked to them and they want to meet you.” I frowned when he still said nothing. “It’s up to you now. If you need my address, just let me know.”

After class, I quickly stuffed my things into my bag and left the room. The last thing I wanted to hear was about some plans the three of them would make. “Hey, Sunmi, wait!” Jisu grabbed my arm. I yanked my arm away from her. “Hey!” She said a bit more forcefully and turned me to face her. “What is up with you?”

“I have another class to go to.” Bull, it was my break and even she knew it.

“If you’re going to lie, make sure you haven’t told that person the truth already.” She let go of my arm, “And you can’t be upset that he didn’t give you an immediate answer. He was hurt too y’know. I’ll see you later, when you feel like being bothered.”

As she turned away, I bit my inner cheek debating if I should let her go off. “Jisu, wait!” She stopped and I walked over to her quickly. “I’m sorry. It’s just…You’re right. I shouldn’t get upset that he isn’t up and jumping to come see my brothers. But at the same time, it seemed like all he was waiting for was the approval from them. At least it did yesterday, so him not saying anything is upsetting.”

Jisu’s look turned from stern to sympathetic. “You gotta let him do his own thing. And just go by it. His decision is an important one, I get that. But you can’t force him either.” She placed a hand on my shoulder, “But let’s not stress this, let’s go get something to eat.”

Throughout the rest of the day, I didn’t see Dawook, or Minji for that matter. At the end of the day, I had to reluctantly tell the guys that Dawook wasn’t coming over. To which I got a lot of negative comments, especially from Eunhyuk
