His phone’s alarm rang violently as if it was screaming at this boy who was in his deep slumber. The numerous times it played the beats to his favourite song had finally awakened him, making his eyes popped wide-opened. Lifting the blanket and letting it settle on the other side of the bed, he shifted his legs to the side and he pulled his body up.

Checking the time, it stated 6:35pm. Twenty-five more minutes to let pass and he’ll be late. “Oh shoot!” He jumped out of bed and quickly changed into a more decent clothing. The clothes he wore before got crinkly from his supposed afternoon nap. Apparently, the afternoon wasn’t exactly what it is right now. It was evening. He needed to be at the venue at exactly seven – or earlier.

He flung his shirt to the chair near him, slipped his arms to each sleeves and buttoned his shirt. Taking a quick glance at his watch, he sighed in relief as it only took him a total of three minutes to change.

Inside the cab, he fiddled with his fingers, having nervousness crawl up his sleeves. It was his first day as a photographer or what it officially meant, ‘Suho’s temporary replacement’. He wanted to give a good impression. Other than having a pay for this job, he gets to have something to occupy his vacant time.

It wasn’t that long of the travel time and he reached the place four minutes before his call time. And by that, I could say, he made it.

“Just in time,” the head spoke, a smile forming on his lips as Chanyeol stood by his side. “They’re already here. Just getting their makeup on as well as their outfits.”

“Great! Can’t wait to see them. By the way, who’s the other model? Nara and…?”

Right on cue, his question was answered as Nara entered the studio followed by her cousin. The people around the area got their eyes twinkling as they set their sights on the tall lady. Majority of them might be dazzled by her but Chanyeol got his eyes locked on the girl that trailed behind her.

 “Ara,” his voice whispered in an utter audible sound.

“Yes, that’s Nara’s cousin. She’s pretty, right?” The head made a side comment.

They were both wearing white shimmering wedding gowns. Nara’s was slightly showing her legs while Ara’s covered the whole of hers, however, flaunted her flawless milky-skin from the back. She was thankful it hid her legs – that meant hiding her bruise.

She’s really beautiful, he thought. Chanyeol blinked. He wasn’t sure if what he was seeing was real. Just then, realization hit him. Why was Ara there? She’s a model? He didn’t know but his sight was actually stating the obvious. “Ara?”
