The following day became an awkward meeting for the two. Chanyeol decided not to bother her for a while for the sake of letting her lose her anxious feeling. In terms of a closed or open person, Ara wasn’t really the closed type. She just appeared like one because of her attitude towards men. Her personality was more of an ajar one. It’s not really closed however, it is only slightly opened. The type who waits for someone to knock and she’s willing to let them enter like what she did with Chanyeol despite her hatred for men. It’s as if she’s waiting for someone brave enough to enter and discover who she really is. Nevertheless, this was the hindrance to her being. She was too afraid – afraid to be let out to a vast area where she might get completely lost and left.
“Chanyeol!”, Suho called from the far left side of the hallway. He had just finished drinking water from the fountain.
“Yeah?” He raised both his eyebrows.
“Are you busy this coming September?”
He juggled his thoughts of whatever plans he might have in that month. Apparently, none has popped in his thoughts. “Not really. Why?”
“You see, I planned on having a break on my part time job since I’ve been getting busy lately handling the student government. You do know how hard it is to manage the whole student body, right?”
Chanyeol nodded.
The shorter one continued. “I’m a photographer and I really don’t want my co-workers to panic looking for one when I announce my break. I saw your snapshots before and they were really great. So I’m thinking, is it okay for you to substitute for me for awhile?”, he stared at him intently hoping he would agree.
Chanyeol scratched his head. “I never really worked for anyone before. But it wouldn’t hurt to try.” He grinned reassuring the older one.
“Here.” Suho handed him the calling card of the company. “I’ll inform them about you as my temporary replacement.”
“Okay. I’ll contact them later.” He raised the card, nodding.
“Sure and thanks! I’ll be seeing you soon.” Suho went on his way. He seemed to be in a hurry. Must be the call of his duty as the school’s president.
