Chanyeol’s eyes widened upon seeing her fall forcefully on the ground. He blamed himself for this incident. If he hadn’t chased her, this wouldn’t happen. If he only increased the speed of his paces, he would have caught her. To his dismay, he failed. His only intention was to make friends with her – to get to know her deeply as he found her quite enigmatic yet really unique and interesting.
“Ara, I’m sorry.” He apologized as he tried to reach and grab her arm. However, she slapped his hand and shoved him away. “Don’t touch me! I don’t know what your real intention is but stop following me, you ert!” She yelled at him. He felt a pang on his heart hearing those words. He only wanted to befriend her but it seems that she viewed it the wrong way.
Making friends with her – it was a challenge for him. But he didn’t want to give up. Part of him tells him that he has an obligation to protect her. She may seem strong but she’s completely fragile inside. Every strong person has a hidden weakness yet to be revealed. The person may just be good at hiding it; letting his strengths prevail.
Ugh. Now my leg is bruised. Lucky that I am still on my modelling break or else I’ll get tons of sermons from my manager. She stood up weakly reaching for the bench.
Watching her struggle to pull herself up the bench, Chanyeol ran to her and carried her to the bench.
“Let me go!” Ara yelled hitting his shoulder. He sat her down to the bench and knelt in front of her, taking his hanky from his pocket and dabbing it on her bleeding knee.
He let his back face her as he crouched down. “I’ll take you to the clinic. Hop on.”, “I can walk you know.” She stood up and began limping towards the staircase.
