Silently, Giddily.“Lee Hyunwoo, stop acting like a wimp and just do it.” Soohyun snapped.
“But...”
“Do it for me, will you?” Soohyun shoved the bat in his hands.
“Remember, don’t hit the head.” He reminded before springing into action.
In a swift movement, he trapped Jonghyun’s head once it appeared and pinned him down.
Soohyun wanted the world to nod at their relationship and even if they wouldn't, he wanted to hammer down the one who shook his head the most violently.
He wanted to revenge for Hyunwoo's humiliation, Hyunwoo's tears, Hyunwoo's sadness.
Soohyun looked to him and nodded. Hyunwoo momentarily hesitated but still landed the bat on his body.
“Why did you have to pick on us just because we are different..."
"We love each other the same way you do to any other girl out there."
"Was it wrong to be different?"
"Why, Why did you have to single me out, humiliate me in front of the entire school?!
"Why? Why? Why?” He hit harder and harder.
Hyunwoo yelled in his heart, tears flowing alongside as Jonghyun groaned in pain.
“W-Who the are you guys?!” He yelled and struggled.
Soohyun signaled for Hyunwoo to stop after some time, observing him losing it.
Then, they took flight as Jonghyun rolled around in agony.
He deserved it.
Soohyun placed his hand over his chest and felt it race. The same heart that admitted his true feelings was racing in excitment.
The two escaped to the rooftop and collapsed on the ground laughing.
After the laughter died down, uneasiness overwhelmed Hyunwoo.
“Are we going to be fine?” he asked.
“That fool has too many enemies to know it’s us.” Soohyun replied, placing his hands behind his head.
Hyunwoo looked over to find Soohyun eyes closed, smiling.
He was satisfied. And so was he.
He closed his eyes and smiled too when he felt another hand on his.
“What have I done in my previous life to deserve someone like you?”
