“You’re lying, aren’t you?” Hyunwoo took the courage to look into Soohyun’s eyes.

He wished he saw truth in his eyes.

His gaze never betrayed his true feelings.

He has always been a mystery, a riddle that Hyunwoo can never solve.

“You’re telling me you like me the same way too?”

“Are you ing kidding me?” Hyunwoo broke his gaze, tears flowing furiously.

He knew he was never going to be a gay like him. Never.

It was impossible.

“I am not lying, Hyunwoo-ah. Hear me out, won’t yo-”

“Enough! You’re trying too hard, Soohyun.” He broke free of his grip once more.

Hyunwoo hated him so much in this moment perhaps, as much as he loved him. Because he gave him hope that maybe, maybe he really did felt the same way. However, the probability was as low as the sun exploding like his heart. He knew it. He was just trying to salvage their friendship, in a stupid way. A really foolish manner, he thought.

Soohyun watched Hyunwoo walked away and his heart sank with each step he took.

You never once tried believing me, didn’t you?
 

Hyunwoo felt his phone vibrate non-stop. He took it out of his pocket and read the notification off his screen.

You only cared about your own feelings.

You said I am a liar.

Then, do you know what are you?

 “Someone who fell in love with the wrong person.” Hyunwoo sobbed harder.

If only he could turn back time…

“You, heartbreaker.”

He froze.
