Silently, Giddily.The doorbell rang.
Hyunwoo continued sitting on his couch, pretending not to hear anything.
He put his headphones on and started blasting his favourite rock music.
But he was not in the mood to listen to songs.
Then, he felt someone plop beside him.
He snapped to his right and saw Soohyun smiling at him.
"You..."
"Your room window was open." He stated matter-of-factly.
"By the way, anybody in?" he asked.
Hyunwoo shook his head.
"But I have to do the laundry." He said, standing up almost immediately.
Taking the blanket, he went to the roof top. He dropped the blanket into the bucket of water and soap mixture.
Taking his school badge off and rolling his pants up, he stepped into it.
The coldness travelled up his soles and it made him shiver a little.
He didn't know why but he felt a surge of sadness run up his body so he stepped harder.
"Lee Hyunwoo."
He didn't stop.
"Yah, Lee Hyunwoo!"
He stepped even harder.
"Are you freaking deaf?!" Hyunwoo stopped when he felt his hands on his shoulders.
"Are you okay?"
No, I am not okay.
His lips did not move an inch as he stared into Soohyun's eyes.
"Of course I am." He smiled, brushing his hands aside.
"Go sit there. You're disturbing me."
Soohyun nodded and left him alone.
Hyunwoo continued doing his laundry, trying to divert his attention elsewhere.
Then, he took the hose, closed his eyes and held it over his head.
He needed it. He needed to clear his mind. He can't breathe. He-
Hyunwoo's eyes shot open when he felt someone his shirt.
"What are you doing?!" Hyunwoo questioned in surprise, looking down at his bare chest.
His heart was beating harder than ever.
"You are not hurt." Soohyun stated, stepping away.
For a moment, he thought he saw Hyunwoo's chest filled with scars and wounds beneath his wet white shirt.
"I almost died to see you."
