“Be careful darlings” YiJeong’s mum bids goodbye to us.

“Bye” I wave back at her before YiJeong drives his car away from the mansion’s front lawn.

We are heading to WooSung museum, the biggest museum in Korea, which is owned by the So Group. Actually I had planned to sleep the whole day since today is a freakin Sunday but YiJeong’s mum crushed my plan when she encouraged (more like forced) YiJeong to take me out for a date.

She told YiJeong to show me around the So properties but I know this is part of her plan to glue us together. Well, I can’t really blame her since YiJeong and I acted like stranger even though we live under the same roof.

“Put on your seatbelt” YiJeong reminds me when we are already half way on our journey.

I look at my free body, if this speedy Lotus bangs into something, I would be flying like a rocket out of the car.

I open my mouth to thank him, but my voice refuses to come out as I realize he is concentrating on driving. I don’t know why he looks so nervous, I don’t think he’s a beginner in driving (just look at his car, it’s a freaking awesome sport car) but he look in front so intensely I think he would burn holes through the rear glass anytime soon.

“Mmmmmmmm” I didn’t realize that I am humming on some random song. I am not going to lie, this is the first time I’m having a ride in a sport car (because all my family cars are those oversized corporate styled cars) and I love everything about it. The loud engine sound, the low seat, everything just gives me a satisfying feeling.

“We’re here” YiJeong said while getting himself out of the car.

I let out a small sigh. Sometimes I wonder if he had torn some of his face muscles, because not even once have I seen him smile. He could’ve said it to me if he didn’t like this whole engagement idea, or if he hates me so that every single thing could turn out easier, we can cancel this engagement, but the big problem here is the whole hot and cold mysterious guy image he is putting on, it is making things difficult for me.

“Good day, young master” a museum guard greeted as we pass by the museum’s entrance.

The first thing caught in my sight inevitably caused my eyes to pop out. Not far in front of me stand a giant stone that looked like it just dropped somewhere from the sky. The museum interior is unbelievably big, and every single thing inside are caged by shining glasses, even the floor is perfectly polished.

“Wow” that’s the only thing I can say about this place.

It’s actually exciting to see these historical artifacts (even though I hate history) because it makes me feel like I am time travelling to those ages, sound ridiculous though.

I wander around the museum like a curious preschooler until a vase located at the second floor of the museum caught my eyes. It is a beautiful vase with something like diamonds scattered on it as details. I am seriously sure I’ve seen this vase before, but not here.

Wait, maybe at the pottery camp? Believe it or not, I was sent to a summer pottery camp during middle school, and I found pottery interesting after attending the camp but at the same time I knew right away that I have zero talent in pottery.

“That’s my grandfather’s work” said YiJeong. He is standing next to me, having his eyes on the vase and once again I’m going to say this, he is going to burn hole through the vase with his sharp gaze.

“I think I’ve seen this before” I tell him.

Instead of replying me, he clears his throat awkwardly and moves away from me like I am a skunk who just farted.

“Eish. That f…” I stopped to prevent all the potent bad languages that are racing to come out from my mouth.

That So Yi Jeong, is he having some kind of weird social-related disease?

“I’m hungry, let’s go somewhere to eat” he said loudly from where he is, 100 meters
