The Fate of The Red Thread
Once you got to his building, you thought to yourself
'This is pretty run down.' You smiled.
Sunggyu paid the taxi driver and you opened your door.
"Wait there" He said.
He went to go get the stuff from the trunk and you kept staring at his building.
You stepped out and closed your door.
Sunggyu ran in front of you with your stuff in his hands, and he bent down offering his back.
'So manly' You think and chuckle.
"Yah, im just helping the helpless." He shouts.
"I understand, i understand." You say while you hop on his back in your original position.
"Im lucky i only have to go to the second floor." He says.
"Im sorry for this." You say.
"You could say thank you." He says while entering the building.

"How is your ankle right now?" He asks while climbing up the steps.
You recall how you hurt your ankle. Stairs.
"Sunggyu, dont talk. Just keep watching your step." You say.
"Scared?" He asks. "Fine. Ill keep quiet."
"Sorry if that sounded bad." You say.
You are now on the second floor and heading to his room. Your heart is gaining more beats.
"No, i know that you just dont want me hurt." He says swiftly.

"Were here. Open the door for me please. Key is in my pocket" He interrupts.

You stare at him with annoyance, then dug out the key in his pocket.
You put the key in the knob.

You turn the knob and push it open.
He walks in and heads for the couch. He sets you down slowly and places your stuff near you.
You look around.
"Nice place." You say.
"Its not really my place." He says.
You look at him.
"I-its not? Is it your girlfriend's?" You ask.
"Haha, no." He says. "Forget it." He smiles at you.
"Did you get help by your parents for this apartment?" You ask.
"No i provide for myself. My parents passed away when i was young." He replies.
"Oh, sorry." You say.
He nods and continues to smile.
You continue to look around. A window with a view is to your right. You want to walk to it,
but your ankle disagrees with you. You look at your groceries.
"Hey, didnt you buy anything?" You ask him.
"I did." He replies. " Youre food."
You look at him and respond slowly
"A-ah~ sorry. Ill pay you back." You say.
"Good, because i used all the money i had left on you." He says.
You quickly respond
"Well you can have my groceries. Since you bought it. I can always go buy more."
"Okay, lets have some of that icecream you said you had." He says and smiles at you.
He picks up a bag from beside the tv.
You laugh awkwardly and say
"Actually, i only said that because i didnt wanna come here." You awkwardly smile and play with your hair.
"I know. I was the one who bought your food." He swiftly replies.
You continue to play with your hair.
He sits by you and starts digging through the bag.
"You can keep your groceries, i dont want you going around hurting your ankle more." He says getting out a first aid
kit from the big green worn out bag.
"Understood." You quickly say, and salute.
He laughs and gets out wrapping for your ankle.
You take off your shoes revealing your feet. One swollen in the ankle area.
"You went out with this foot?" He asks while rolling the wrap around your ankle.
"Well it wasnt that bad this morning. Plus, i had to go shopping." You reply.
"Babo." He says and flicks your forehead.
"Aish." You say and rub your forehead.
Your face goes straight.
"Yah. Im sorry." He says.
You stare at the floor for awhile.
"You wanna know who that girl was with me at the market?" You ask while staring blankly at the floor.
He layed his back down on the couch.
"She bullied me all through the time i went to her school.." You said while your hair.
"..one time, she got her friends to corner me in the bathroom, and cut my hair..
My hair was long in length during highschool. Because someone i looked up to had long hair,
even if she was younger than me." You looked at the ring around your finger.
"I didnt stay in that school for long. Even if the whole school loved the short hair style on me.
So i think i understand why she has short hair now." You twiddle your thumbs.

"It turned out beautiful." He says.
You laughed weakly and looked at him. You stared into his eyes, and he stared into yours.

"What time is it?" You ask while you turned away.

A call came from a phone. You see him walking to the kitchen.

"Hello?" He answers.
"Understood." He says and hangs up.
"Hana, i have to go. Something came up at work." He says.
"Youre pretty devoted to your work, for replying as quickly as that.
I understand. Pick up my bags and give me your back." You say.
He looks at you and scoffs,
"Yah, dont push it." He says, but he does so.
While youre out in the hall you ask him
"isnt there an elevator?"
"Nope." He says while walking down the stair case.
"Be careful and watch your step." You say.
He laughs, "Youre actually very motherly. How old are you?" He asks.
"You first." You reply.
"23." He says. "Now you."
You look at him in shock,
"I-i always thought of you as an oppa."

"29." You say.
He almost misses a step.
"Yah! I told you to watch your step!"

You see how awkward he looks.
"You dont need to worry.. i dont like younger guys anyways." You say.

"Ill get off here." You say and hop off.
He helps you to get to the side of the road to catch a taxi.
"TAXI!" You yell out and reach your arm out too much you almost fell, but Sunggyu held you up and laughed.
"Im okay." You say as you pushed him away.
