The Fate of The Red Thread
"Ah, prince. please dont call me princess. its not an official title." You say awkwardly.
"Ah yes." He says. "Mi-Hyun, my mother wants you to start studying immediatly."
'Im not Mi-Hyun.' You think.
"That wont be necessary, prince. I have something to confess when were all together." You say.
"We really must go change your clothes....Mi-Hyun." Sunggyu says holding onto your shoulders from behind.
"Yes." You say obediently.
He lifts you up once again, in front of the prince.
You both are in your room.
"They said this was a guest room." You say as he sets you down. "Not the Princess's room."
"Well, this is your room." He said. He didnt talk formal when you guys were alone.
"This isnt my room." You say.
"So then, Mi-Hyun's room?" He asks sarcastically.
"It wouldve been." You mumble under your breathe.
"Well, since youre about to give up your life to become a royal. Lets go on a date." He says blatantly, looking away.
Your heart skipped a beat.
"U-um, why's that?" You ask him while fixing your hair.
"Its just an event to say goodbye to your old life. Youre going to become a princess, so why not."
You ignore him while you fixed up your wrinkled pajamas.
He sees you.
He smiled.
"So you wanna go?" He asks.
'He wants to go on a date with me after seeing my weak side, helping me to the washroom, knowing my age,
and seeing me like this?'
You think.
"O-ok." You say, twiddeling your thumbs.
He eyesmiled and said "I'll come back soon."
"Right now?" You ask.
"Soon." He said, and walked out the door.
"When will i be able to tell them?" You say. "But... a date?" You squealed and rolled around on the bed.
"I'll need the holy water from home." You say and smile.
You look at your ankle. "Dont ruin this." You say pointing at it.
You spread out your arms and fall on the bed.
You get up and say "What should i wear?"
You saw a closet in the room you were in. Curious, you went to go open it.
There were dresses, arranged in a rainbow order.
Amazed, you sweeped your hand on all of the dresses.
"Should i be more girly and go with pink?" You ask yourself.
You looked through the pink dresses and found a peach dress you liked.
"My ankle pain is bearable." You say and smile.
You spun around, and made the dress flow.
*Knock knock
"That was quick." You say and rush to the door.
Sunggyu stared at you for a moment in surprise. "You look-" He said and looked at his watch.
You looked at him confused. He picked you up and rushed to the back door.
"Sunggyu," You say. " Put me down. I want to walk by myself."
'I want to show more of my strong side to him.' You think.
"Sorry, ill set you down once were outside." He said.
You looked at him and smiled. "You have a habit of doing this, huh?" You say, wrapping him around your arms.
"Dont get any strange ideas." He said. "This is just an event for the princess to say goodbye to her old life."
You frowned. "But im not-"
"Were here." He set you down in a taxi.
"A taxi?" You ask.
Well, i couldnt get one of the cars here." He said. "Hope its alright."
"Of course its alright." You say and smile.
He got in the other side, and he covered your ears to tell the taxi driver where you were both going.
You smiled and put your hands on his.
He released and said "Seatbelt."
You swooped your seatbelt over and buckled your seatbelt.
