The Fate of The Red Thread
"Ah, Ahjusshi!" You shout in the remembrance of his eyes.
He looks at you through the mirror.
"Ahh~, ma'am. Youre the princess?" He asks.
"W-well.." You say awkwardly scratching the back of your head.
"Yes." Sunggyu said. "Shes the princess." He said and looked out his window.
The ahjusshi nodded and looked at Sunggyu.
"Hey, i saw you on tv this morning. Youre the prince's assistant arent you? So what are you doing with the
princess going to the-"
"Sir, just please drive us." Sunggyu interrupted.
"Ah, yes." The ahjusshi said.
You hit Sunggyu with your bag.
"Be nice" You mouthed to him.
"Araso." He mouthed back.
"So, ma'am. Was he the person you lost?" The ahjusshi asked while driving.
"Ah, no." You said politely, and looked at Sunggyu, hoping he wouldnt ask about it.
"Person? Lost?" He asked.
'What am i gonna do?' You ask yourself.
"Oh~ so you dated before. Of course, you are 29." He said.
You laughed awkwardly.
"I wish you'd stop flaunting my age around." You mumble.
"Were almost there." He said.
"Couldnt you be more excited?" You ask him.
"Could i?" He asks back, and looks out the window.
'Did he not like the dress? Is he just pushing himself to do this?' You think to yourself.
"Sunggy-"
"Were here." He interrupts.
He paid the ahjusshi, and opened the door for you.
You got out to see where youve arrived, an aquarium.
You walked like there was nothing wrong with your ankle, because of all the people.
You waved to the ahjusshi, he waved back and drove off.
Sunggyu looked like he was about to pick you up, but you shouted "No!" with your hand blocking you.
He laughed, "I was kidding." he said and offered his hand.
You blushed. But then grabbed his arm instead.
You both were inside, looking at all the fish, turtles, and so on.
"Were going to the amusemant park after this" Sunggyu said.
You looked at him and smiled. "Yay! I want to go there now~" You say.
"Aish, just wait. Were not done looking around." He said.
"Im done." You quickly reply.
"Then wait for me." He said, and continued looking around.
You looked at his hand, wanting to hold it.
'It'll be okay right? Ill just tell him my ankle hurts.' You think, and start heading towards him.
You trip on your shoelaces and fall face first on the floor.
You look up and almost everyone is looking at you. You turn your head to your shoes, and realize the
laces are out. Youre almost in tears.
Sunggyu bends down to you and offers a hand.
"Only if you take it, i will help." He says.
You looked into his eyes for awhile and then put your hand on his.
He lifted you up like he usually does.
"Lets go to the park now." He said. "Unless your ankle hurts too much."
"No, its fine. My face just hurts." You say.
"How did you fall?" He asks catching a taxi.
You layed your face on his chest.
"Laces." You mumble.
"Laces?" He asks.
"I.. cant tie my shoe laces." You admit.
He was silent for awhile. But then he set you down and stood you up.
He bent down to your shoe level, then looked at your untied shoe laces.
You looked at him.
He was tying your laces.
"I cant believe you still dont know how to tie your shoes." He said "Youre lucky im here." He said jokingly.
You remembered Mi-Hyun.
He got up and looked at you, crying.
"Mi-Hyun. Why are you-" He cut himself off and tried to catch a nearby taxi.
"Mi-Hyun! Taxi is here." He said smiling.
You stopped crying quickly and walked to the taxi. Hardly limping.
You both were in the taxi on your way to the amusemant park.
"You dont have to cry because you cant tie your shoe laces." He said.
"Its not that." You say.
"Aish, and i wanted to make you happy today." He says.
You blushed.
"I-I am happy." You shyly say, twiddeling your thumbs.
He smiled and looked out the window.
'Did he just try to cheer me up?' You think.
You arrived at the park, but there were no lights and the rides werent on.
Sunggyu got out of the taxi to go read a yellow paper taped on the gate.
He came back with his hands in his pants pocket.
"Hana, its closed today." He says leaning his hand against the taxi door.
The disappointment showed in your face, but quickly changed to a smile.
"Lets go to a cafe." You say.
He got in and said "Flower Inc. Cafe, please." to the taxi driver.
You were driving for 5 minutes.
'Flower Inc. Cafe?' You think.
"Sunggyu, were going to a maid cafe?" You ask.
He looks at you and says "They have the best menu. Ill get you whatever you want."
"You sure were not going there just for the cosplay?" You ask, playfully glaring at him.
"Aish, no~." He said.
You laughed.
"You know, my name means Flower in japanese." You say, switching the subect.
"I know." He said. "It also means One in korean."
You laughed awkwardly.

A moment later, you saw the disappointment in Sunggyu's face.
Then looked at his hand, laying beside him. He turned his sight to his window.
You looked everywhere nervously, like you were gonna commit a murder or something.
You turned your head to look outside, and your hand slowly went to Sunggyus. Your finger tips touched the
back of his hand, and you felt him twitch. You didnt look at his reaction, but kept slowly trying to hold his
hand.
You slipped your fingers in between his, and smiled.
"I-Isnt this what you do on dates?" You shyly ask, still looking out the window.
Sunggyu looked at you, then smiled.
He flipped his hand around, and intertwined with your fingers, then held onto your hand tightly.
"Yup." He said, and looked out his window.
