The Fate of The Red Thread
When you got to the cafe, Sunggyu didnt let go of your hand. Even while paying the taxi driver, and getting out
of the car.
You both were in the cafe, sitting in the booth in the corner.
"You could let go of my hand now, Hana." Sunggyu said, looking at his menu.
You held, and stared at his hand for a minute till a waitress in maid cosplay came.
"Hello. Can i take your order?" She asks happily, and youthfully.
You let Sunggyus hand fall on the table.
'She looks so young.... But, what should i order?!' You ask yourself.
"Two of these, please." Sunggyu says, pointing his finger on a picture from the menu.
"Yes.~" The waitress said and walked off.
You glared at him.
"You said you'd get me what i want.~" You pout.
"I had to order right away, its hard to get service here. Its crowded." He says. "You would want this anyway."
He points at a rainbow sundae on the menu.
You clap your hands together, and smile.
"Really?" You ask him, happily.
"Yup." He says, setting down the menu.
"When you act cool, you really are, cool." You say, setting your elbows on the table.
"Whos acting?" He asks smiling.
You scoff. Then look out the window.
"The sun is setting." You say.
Sunggyu looks too.
He looks at you admiring the sunset.
You smiled at the sight.
He pushed your hair back behind your ear, and you slowly went to a straight face.
Your eyes are widened slightly, and his fingers ran through the end of your hair.
His touch sent shivers to your body, and you sat back with your back straight.
You sat awkwardly, while Sunggyu was on his phone.
'Is it alright for me to be with him?' You think to yourself, looking at him.
He had one eye on you, and you looked away.
"They sure take long." You say, avoiding eye contact.
"I told you this place was busy." He said. "Look at all those ert ahjusshi's."
You looked around the place, and there were a lot of older men.
"Yah. That man just touched the waitress's thigh." You whisper pointing at a table closer to the door.
There was a man that looked like he was in his 40's, and he used every opportunity to touch a waitress.
Sunggyu was still on his phone, he didnt hear because you whispered.
You shot up.
"Yah! ert Ahjusshi!" You shout, fearlessy walking towards him.
He saw you and got up, like he was gonna leave.
You grabbed his jacket he was about to pick up from the chair, and put it behind your back.
"Did you come here just to touch the workers?!" You shout, catching everyones attention.
Sunggyu was already behind you, now aware.
The ahjusshi looked around, and all eyes were on him.
You pierced your eyes to his, and threw his jacket on the ground.
He was gonna pick it up, but you stepped on it.
"Say sorry, ahjusshi." You say, pointing at the waitress.
"Why should i say sorry? She didnt say anything, did she?" He said and gave you an evil glare back.
Sunggyu picked up your foot, and gave the ahjusshi his jacket.
The manager finally made an appearance.
"Whats the problem here?" She asks.
The ahjusshi walked out of the place.
You took a step forward and said "You should watch what goes on around here. A worker was just ually harassed."
She looked around, and lead you outside.
"Listen. If she was ually harassed, she wouldnt want all the people in there to hear that." She says adruptly.
Your both looking eachother dead in the eye.
"Also, if she works here, its her responsibilty to figure a way around this problem."
"So ignoring it is finding a way around the problem?" You ask her, still making eye contact.
"Like i said, its her responsibility." She says.
"But if sh-" You say, but cut off by Sunggyu's hand.
Sunggyu bowed, and lead you to the sidewalk.
You were talking in to his hand. "Yah. Why are you doing this?"
"The manager was right." He said.
You stopped.
"She was right?" You ask him, disappointed.
He took his hand off your mouth, and into his pockets.
"Yup. She was right." He said, putting his arm out for a taxi.
You looked forward in disbelief.
"You wont even take my side?" You ask him, looking away.
"Its not about that, Han-"
"Then what is it about?" You cut him off.
He looked at you.
"Its about a worker that just got harassed,
if she didnt want that to happen, she wouldnt have took that kind of job." He says.
"Are you saying she deserved it? Because it might be good pay for a student in college.
Im just saying that she could have done something about it, instead of ignoring it."
You say looking at him.
Both of you are making dead eye contact.
You let out your stress. Then you started walking away from Sunggyu.
"Where are you going?" He asks.
"Away from you." You reply.
You were walking away mad and disappointed.
Sunggyu grabbed your hand and turned you around so your chest met his.
He wrapped his arms around your waist, and started kissing you forcefully.
You were trying to push him back, and he held your face and kissed you more.
Both of your eyes were closed, but still fighting away him.
You released from him and said
"Youre a ert."
