[3^rd Person’s POV]

After the strawberry-chocolate pie incident, the two continued with their lives thinking that live would be better without each other.

HyunRi moved to Singapore and studied in a local school, where she studied English and Chinese language and made new friends. She could not get use to a KyuHyun-less life. For some reason, it felt different going to school without getting pissed at him or the Kyubies. It felt weird without seeing her belongings being vandalized whenever she came back to class from lunch-break. It felt weird without KyuHyun making fun of her low grade whenever she got back her Mathematics result. It felt weird without needing to go to the school’s rooftop to secretly curse and scream her frustrations out whenever KyuHyun pissed her off.

It was almost as if she missed KyuHyun.

As for KyuHyun, he continued his studies and of course, coming in top at almost every Mathematics tests. HyunRi wasn’t the only one who could not get use to live as KyuHyun, too, found it hard to adjust to a HyunRi-less life. It frustrated KyuHyun when he had an awesome prank in mind and could not pull it on HyunRi. It annoyed him that he had no one left to challenge in the Who Is More Evil Competition (which he made it up on his own) now that his closet rival, Byul HyunRi, is gone. It angered him that he was not able to take revenge on HyunRi for smashing chocolate-strawberry pie on his head. Because of the strawberry-chocolate pie incident, KyuHyun had developed a phobia towards chocolate-strawberry pies; if there was the presence of chocolate-strawberry pie in his five-meter radius, he would freak out and run away from it.

There was one part that confused KyuHyun; he actually missed going to the school’s rooftop to secretly eavesdrop on HyunRi cursing and screaming out her frustration caused by him. It always amused KyuHyun whenever he heard HyunRi screaming to no one in particular on the rooftop about how much she wanted to strangle KyuHyun or beat KyuHyun to death with a frozen fish (or broom stick).

KyuHyun thought, wait a minute…why would I miss someone wanting to attack me with frozen fishes?

As years passed, KyuHyun made a decision that shocked his family members. He decided to that he wanted become a singer. He had auditioned for Star Museum Entertainment behind his father’s back and got recruited as a trainee. At first, his father disagreed with his decision but soon gave into it when he heard KyuHyun sing.

After three months of training, KyuHyun debuted as the 13^th member of an existing boy band, Super Junior. With his talents and charms, he soon got accepted by the members and the public. He continued to work hard with Super Junior and received love from rapidly increasing number of ELFs (Super Junior’s official fan club name).

[Byul HyunRi’s POV]

“HYUNRI, LOOK AT THIS!” An excited voice that belonged to my best friend, Cera squealed.

 Cera jumped in front of me, trailing behind her was my other best friend, They were carrying bag packs…with Super Junior members’ faces printed all over it.

“Look, HyunRi! Isn’t it cute?!” Jas squealed excitedly, twirling around so that I could get a better view of her white bag pack with SungMin’s smiling face printed right in front of the bag. The words ‘Super Junior’ in Hangeul trailed down the straps of the bag.

“Uh…yes.”

“Jas’s aunt just came back from South Korea from a vacation and knowing that we’re BIGGGGGGGG fans of Super Junior, she got this for us! Isn’t it great?” Cera jumped around happily while hugging her bag.

“Yeah, it’s gre—” I was cut off.

Cera continued spazzing, “Well, do you know what’s even better? As a goodbye gift, we told Jas’s aunt to help get you something as well!”

Mind you, my two besties, Cera and Jas, practically live in SuJu Heaven 24/7. So their gifts are definitely something related to Super Junior.

“Something related to Super Jun—” I was cut off AGAIN by a sapphire blue bag, which came out of nowhere, was shoved in front of my face. It was a same bag as Cera and Jas’s but instead of all the Super Junior members, only KyuHyun’s picture was printed it.

Jas took over the spazzathon, “Isn’t it cute? Isn’t cute? Isn’t it cute? I wished I had one, too! If it wasn’t your goodbye gift, I would have kept it for my own! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah~” She and Cera squealed in unision. Then she realized that I was serious, so she said, “Well, we thought that you might like it if you got an all-KyuHyun one, since, you know, you kind of know him.”

I looked down at my ‘goodbye gift’; yes, I’m returning to South Korea since my dad’s company has relocated him back. Speaking of KyuHyun, it’s been five years since I last saw him (apart from on TV shows or Super Junior performances). Never would I think that he would end up debuting as a singer.

Well, if you want to know the truth, I was already an ELF before KyuHyun debuted. Back then, when Jas and Cera came running towards me that there is going to be a 13^th member added to Super Junior and his name is Cho KyuHyun, I fell off the chair that I was sitting on.

Anyway, back to reality, Jas asked me what I am going to do after I return to South Korea.

“Hopefully I’ll get my job as a designer,” I replied dreamily.

Cera thought for awhile and said, “Well, in my opinion, I think that you should become a translator. You know, since you know Korean, Chinese and English language.”

Jas started nodding along wisely, “Yes! HyunRi, you should become Super Junior M’s translator…”

 “You totally should! Then you’ll get to be so close to them and whisper the translated sentences into KyuHyun or RyeoWook’s ear.” Cera was starting to get all excited.

Jas chimed in, “And you’ll get to follow them in their vans and maybe live with them in their dorms!”

“You two are thinking too much,” I knocked both of them lightly on their heads. “They’ve already got Henry and ZhouMi, remember? Both of them can speak both Chinese and Korean language fluently. There isn’t a need for a translator.”

“Well, you never know~” Cera sang.

“Plus, I already have a passion,” I sang back dreamily. “For designing.”

Too bad for me, Cera and Jas were already off to SuJu Heaven and did not seem have headr a single word I said.

“Come on, HyunRi,” Cera and Jas pleaded and pouted. “Promise us that you’ll introduce us to Super Junior if you become their translator!”

“Yeah, sure, as if I would even get to become their translator.”

But little did I know that I was wrong.
