[3^rd Person’s POV]

The room was cold and silent; the only light was emitted from a flashing laptop screen. Walls of the room were covered with various posters of, idol group, Super Junior. Two young girls were sitting by the laptop, scrutinizing every bit of the video that was played on the screen.

The video was a fan-cam of Super Junior M’s arrival in Taiwan. In the video, the boys were waving happily at their fans who were welcoming them outside the temporary hotel they were supposed to stay in. SungMin was seen looking back and talking to a girl who was carrying a bag with KyuHyun-prints all over it. Later, Henry was seen approaching the same girl.

The girl, with long dark hair, who was sitting in front of the laptop screen immediately paused the video.

“Who is she?”

“Probably one of their crew members,” The other girl with shoulder-length hair answered back. She leaned closer to the screen for a more detailed look at the mysterious girl next to Henry in the video. “No, that’s…”

The two girls’ mouth gasped open and they turned and looked at each other with widened eyes.

The girl with long hair slammed her fists on the computer table and glared at the laptop screen and grudgingly hissed, “How dare she do that…”

[Byul HyunRi’s POV]

I closed my eyes while I basked in the wonderful feeling of the warm summery wind blowing through my hair.

SungMin, RyeoWook, Henry and I were sitting on the floor of the large balcony in Super Junior M’s dormitory. SiWon and DongHae were speaking to their manager regarding the filming of their up-coming drama, EunHyuk and ZhouMi were looking through the pile of just-received gifts from the Taiwanese fans and KyuHyun was lying on his stomach on the living room sofa while he used his laptop.

Even though it was awkward and slightly uncomfortable living in a dorm with eight other males, I have to admit that it is much better than the previous dorm I was in. The strong nauseating smell of nail polish and perfume was gone and my new room didn’t have a leaking ceiling (which is definitely a plus).

I sighed, contented.

Speaking of my new room, mine was located across SungMin’s and RyeoWook’s, and next to KyuHyun’s and SiWon’s room. It was neither big nor claustrophobic, it was just right. A bathroom connected my room with SiWon’s and KyuHyun’s room. (I had to make a mental note to myself to remember to lock both bathroom doors before using it.)

“Noona, this is your first time being in a recording studio, isn’t it?” Henry chirped as he leaned back to talk to me. “Don’t worry, I felt nervous on my first time, too. You’ll be fine.”

“Thanks, Henry,” I smiled at him as I uncomfortably shifted my hold on the microphone that was given to me for translating purposes. Hoping that it would not slip out of my sweaty palms later on, I scanned the surroundings.

Dozens of crew members were busy setting up the studio, wiring cables, positioning cameras and checking the sound systems. KyuHyun, SungMin and Henry were seated in the middle of the set, while I was given a seat behind them. The other members were had schedules at another recording studio, so it was only the three of them with me. 

After the final mike check, the MC took her position on a zebra-print cushion chair next to Super Junior M.

The PD shouted, “The recording starts in 3… 2…” He snapped his fingers and the film started rolling.

Lively background music boomed through the large speakers of the set and the studio was instantly lighted up by LED of various colors.

The opening music stopped and the MC spoke into the camera, “Hello, viewers! I have to say to those who tune in to this episode are going to benefit greatly from it! Introducing, the most talented and dashing Super Junior M! Meet KyuHyun, SungMin and Henry!”

The camera panned towards the boys and on cue, they greeted, “大家好！我们是Super Junior—M!” *(Hello everybody, we are Super Junior—M!)*

The female MC clapped in glee and continued to host the show, which was mostly an interviewing session. She asked standard questions like, “So how to you guys feel coming back to TaiWan?” and “What TaiWan delicacy do you guys like?” and “Is there anything you would want to say to your fans here in TaiWan?”

At times, I would be called in to translate the questions and answers. It felt weird at first, especially when the intimidating camera panned to capture my face for a second or two before turning to film the host or the boys. But later I got used to it and started to feel comfortable with my job.

“My next question for you guys,” The MC flipped to the next page of her cue cards. “Ah… This is going to be an interesting one, which was requested by many fans to be asked.”

The three Super Junior M members nodded knowingly.

“圭贤，请问你们第一次接是在几岁，哪里？” The MC asked.

My eyes widened slightly at her question.

KyuHyun, who heard his Chinese name mentioned in her question, turned to me for translations.

I held up the microphone up in front of my lips and awkwardly translated, “She’s asking you about your first kiss. How old were you at that time and where did it happen…?” I trailed off and looked away.

His eyes widened for a split second and after regaining composure, he replied the MC in broken mandarin, “I had my first kiss during the second year of high school, by a staircase at the back of the school.”

The MC clapped excitedly, “How did it felt?”

“Wet,” KyuHyun replied. “It felt wet.”

Everyone, except me, broke into laughter, the MC urged him to go on, “So tell us, how did it happened? Was she your girlfriend?”

KyuHyun took a deep breath and told everyone the story of his first kiss, the story that he made up.

Liar, she definitely wasn’t your girlfriend. She was the girl that you picked on during Kindergarten.

GAAAAAAAAAHI'MSOSORRYSORRYSORRY.IREALLYAMSORRYFORACTINGASIFIWASDEADFORTHEPASTONEANDAHALFMONTH!! T^T

Okay, truth is that I wasn't playing dead. I just finished my examination finals yesterday. And during the examination period, my oh-so-lovely mother-dearest took away the laptop for my own good , so I had no access to updating.

Well, on the bright side, I'll have more free time now which hopefully (wait, what is the word 'hopefully' doing here?!) means more time to write and update ^_^

And on the not-so-bright-side, I'll be taking my O-Level Chinese Language examination in about 29 days (??), which mean a short period of up-coming hiatus again. (GAAAAAH WHY ARE THEY SO MANY EXAMINATIONS?!%^& *goes crazy*)

I'm working on the next chapter now though.
