Shopping (and the incident before shopping)
…and then, I Became Cho KyuHyun’s Personal Translator[Cho KyuHyun’s POV]
Once we entered the elevator, I shoved the pair of sunglasses onto HyunRi’s nose bridge. “We’re going to the nearest shopping mall,” I informed her. “And you’re responsible for finding out the directions there.”
The sunglasses slid half-way down her nose, revealing her eyes. She raised an eyebrow, “Shopping mall? Why?”
“I need to buy something for a friend back in Korea,” I simply answered as I put on a pair of white-framed spectacles.
After we exited the elevator, HyunRi asked for directions and we boarded an over-crowded bus headed towards Taiwan’s largest shopping mall called ‘Dream Mall’. There wasn’t any available seat on the bus so both had to stand for the entire bus journey.
“K-KyuHyun!” A voice hissed.
“What?”
“KyuHyun!” HyunRi whispered urgently again.
I looked at her in confusion, “What?”
HyunRi’s lips were pressed into a tight line and a frown creased her forehead, “KyuHyun, I…” She pulled off her sunglasses, revealing her wide, panicked eyes.
“What’s wrong?” Did someone recognize me already?
She bit her lip nervously and she rolled her eyeballs towards her right side. Pitifully, she mouthed the word, “Help.”
I looked towards her right and immediately understood the situation. Standing beside HyunRi, was a middle-aged man. He smiled sinisterly as his eyes swept up and down her body hungrily. His disgusting hand was casually placed on HyunRi’s upper thigh and slowly moving upwards.
A strange surge of energy bubbled within me; was it anger? How dare that old geezer harass her in public?!
Carefully but firmly, I wounded an arm around HyunRi’s waist and pulled her close against my side. That old ert glared at me and I glared straight back into his dirty eyes. Swiftly, I switched positions with HyunRi so that I was now standing in-between HyunRi and that ert.
Once away from that ert’s reach, HyunRi exhaled in relief and mouthed, “Thank you.”
Once we alighted, we stared in awe at the large infrastructure of the shopping mall. On top of the eleven stories building, perched a magnificently-built Ferris wheel.
“Wow…” I heard her mumble. “It’s been so long since I went on a Ferris wheel.”

[Byul HyunRi’s POV]
“Enough of staring,” I heard KyuHyun say. “We’ve got things to do.”
I unwillingly tore my gaze away from the Ferris wheel as I let KyuHyun pull me into the mall. In the mall, we visited shops, pawed through piles of clothing and accessories.
“What about these?” I randomly held up a silver-chained necklace.
KyuHyun shook his head, “No, that’s too boyish for a female.”
“Oh, so that person back in Korea is a female,” I mumbled to myself.
“Yup, and she’s three years younger than I am.”
“Oh…” I mumbled thoughtfully. Three years younger than KyuHyun; I wonder who that could be. Could it be his friend, or perhaps a fan? That person must be really lucky to receive a gift from Super Junior’s KyuHyun…
KyuHyun suddenly leaned in; his face was dangerously close to mine. He raised an eyebrow and smirked playfully, “Why? Are you jealous that I’m buying something for someone else?”
Startled, I fell a step back, “N-no way!”
“That’s fine with me,” KyuHyun shrugged nonchalantly and walked towards the opposite direction. “There wasn’t a need to have such a big reaction.”
I heaved a sigh of relief once I was out of KyuHyun’s sight. I touched my flushed cheeks; just what is wrong with me?
We continued to look around. I begun to felt bored and started wandering off by myself. While KyuHyun was looking through the huge gallery of earrings, I wandered off further into the shop while happened to sell scarves. I let my fingers linger on the columns of neatly placed scarves, feeling the soft and smooth material. Carefully, I pulled up a sapphire blue scarf and examined it.
“Hey, those would be perfect for her.” KyuHyun pulled out a pink scarf and smiled in satisfactory. “This shall be it.”
[Cho KyuHyun’s POV]
HyunRi sighed and looked longingly at the scarf before slotting it back carefully into the original pile. She looked as if she really wanted it. An idea popped into my head.
“Wait for me outside while I make payment,” I told her.
“Alright,” HyunRi left the shop.
Once I was sure that I was out from HyunRi’s sight, I pulled the sapphire blue scarf out from the pile and went to the cashier to pay for both scarves. After paying and collecting back the correct amount of change, I was about to turn to leave when the cashier called after me.
“先生,请您稍等一下!”
I turned around and saw the cashier fumbling through a pile of paper. She held out a pair of small, white rectangular paper.
“这是送给你的。”
“This is for me; for free?” I asked in Korean, confused.
The cashier nodded with a toothy smile. I took the white rectangles from her; it was tickets for the Ferris wheel ride for two. I thanked her, kept the tickets in my wallet and left the shop.
“I think we should head back soon, it’s getting dark.” HyunRi said as soon as I met her outside the shop. “Plus, it looks like it’ll rain anytime soon.”
I nodded in agreement, “Alright. However, we still have one last place to visit.” Easily, I looped my arm through hers and pulled her towards the topmost floor, where the Ferris wheel was located.

Hey guys, thank you so much for the support! ^_^ *hug*
It's late here already, so I'll leave my ramblings for the next chapter. Okay, since quite a number of people wanted KyuRi to go on a date, I decided to add in a bit of dateish theme which I hadn't initially planned. More will be revealed in the next few chapters~ :)
Thanks for staying subscribed, subscribing, commenting and reading! <3 Saranghae~
P.s. I re-read the previous chapter and nearly fainted from the amount of language mistakes I made. I'll have to correct them ASAP. Meanwhile, I apologise for any language errors I made in this chapter. I only scanned through it once for errors x.x
