[Byul HyunRi’s POV]

Someone was shaking me really hard by the shoulder. Swearing under my breath, I forced an eye open. The sky was still dark and after a quick glance at the alarm clock, I realized that it was only 4 in the morning. Who in the right mind would want to wake up at this timing?

“HyunRi noona, please wake up! The whole of Super Junior M is waiting for you!”

“Henry,” I groaned in annoyance as I sat up on bed. “Why is the whole of SJM awake?”

“SJM’s having a day-off today and we’re spending the day at a local hot spring – that’s why we’re up early, so that we can reach the resort early.” Henry explained.

I sighed, “Alright, I’ll get ready now. Are the other crew members ready, too?”

Henry shook his head, “Only noona and SJM will be going to the hot spring. I’ll go wake the other hyungs up now.”

How strange. Why am I the only crew member going along with them? I shrugged off that though. Wait… Did Henry just say that he’ll be going to wake the other SJM members up? Didn’t he say that they were already up?

After washing up and changing into day-wear, I grabbed my bag-pack and packed another set of clean clothes and some other necessities into it. As I made my way to the kitchen, I passed by RyeoWook’s room.

“RyeoWookie hyung!” I recognized Henry’s voice. “You need to wake up! The other hyungs and HyunRi noona is already up and they’re all waiting for you! We’re heading to the hot spring today.”

RyeoWook’s tired voice was heard next, “They’re already all up? Alright, I’ll be washing up now.”

A second later, I realized what Henry was up to. Aigoo… This witty Mochi; he is probably telling everyone that everyone else is already up and waiting for them so that they’ll feel pressured and agree to wake up instead of continuing sleeping.

“…and introducing Taiwan’s lovely hot springs to you, foreigners’ eyes,” Henry excitedly clapped as we alighted from the mini-van, “Tian Lai hot spring!”

I stifled a yawn and then deeply inhaled the fresh morning air. The sky had already brightened after the long 3 hour journey from the dormitory. The other SJM members seemed to still be in a half-asleep state…well, except for Henry, who appeared to be the only energetic one.

“Come on guys! Let’s go check into the room that the managers booked for us,” Henry grabbed ZhouMi by his arm and started dragging the poor, half-conscious guy towards the reception counter. “Mimi hyung, I’ll need your help~!”

After unloading our luggage, which wasn’t a lot since it was only a night’s stay here, we checked into our room. It was a pretty huge room with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a spacious living room combined with the kitchen.

“So now that we’re here, what shall we do?” Henry grinned and waited.

ZhouMi, EunHyuk, SungMin, RyeoWook, KyuHyun and I responded all at the same time, “Sleep.”

Henry gasped, “W-what?! You guys want to spend our first and probably last day of holiday in Taiwan sleeping?” He exclaimed in English language.

The six of us responded at the same time again, “Yes.”

With that, everyone scattered different directions, in search for a comfortable place in the room to sleep.

Observing all this from half-open eyes, I plopped down on the other end of the sofa, ready to sleep. KyuHyun plopped down beside me and pulled me by my arm towards him. I automatically rested my head on his shoulder, unconsciously snuggling into the crook of his neck.

[Cho KyuHyun’s POV]

I woke up later that day, upon feeling the sun’s intense but warm rays on my face. My eyelids flew open, it was already sunset. I must have been asleep for quite some time. The surroundings were peaceful – the setting sun shone golden rays into the room, making everything in the room seem to sparkle.

I turned my head to the right and my lips collided with her forehead. Quickly, I turned away.

HyunRi was still soundly asleep on my shoulder. I slightly turned my head and looked at her, without my lips making any contact with her. HyunRi seemed to sparkle under the golden sun rays too.

I held my gaze on her. We seemed to have gotten closer…ever since that incident when she got attacked by the girls RinNa hired. That day when she had come back into the dorm all bruised and tattered. I swear; I almost died that day. My heart almost stopped beating when I saw her in that state.

HyunRi stirred slightly, her brows furrowed. Finally, her eyelids fluttered upwards. Her warm brown eyes met my gaze.

That was all it took for my heartbeat to accelerate.

HyunRi-ah, just what are you doing to me?

[Byul HyunRi’s POV]

“KyuHyun?” I mumbled without breaking eye-contact.

He answered in his smooth, velvet-like voice, “Yeah?”

Oh SiWonnie, it’s really him, I thought and started to panic. My heartbeat started to accelerate and I averted my gaze.

“HyunRi? You okay?”

No, KyuHyun, to be honest I’m not okay. Lately, a lot has been going through my head, and I’m just so confused.

KyuHyun frowned and gently asked, “Like what? What’s been going troubling you?”

My eyes widened, I must had accidentally wondered out loud. “Its n-nothing,” I quickly said and sat up properly beside him. My body was no longer resting against his side.

Once again, the vivid memory of Henry’s word replayed in my head:  Henry gasped, “W-what?! You guys want to spend our first and probably last day of holiday in Taiwan sleeping?” He exclaimed in English language.

I gasped.

“HyunRi—”

“I-I need to use the bathroom,” I cut him off, before hastily making my way to the hotel bathroom without looking back.

In the bathroom, I twisted the faucet and water came splashing out into the sink. Splashing the cool water onto my feverish face, [A/N: Yes, the typical spash-tap-water-on-face scene that is always used in dramas! OTL xD] I waited for my heart to calm down. So many doubts and questions were in my mind.

KyuHyun-ah, just…what am I to you? Am I just a translator that works for Super Junior M or an old acquaintance that you used to have fun bickering with? Am I just a translator or acquaintance that you’ll allow to fall asleep on your shoulder?

When Super Junior M’s long stay in Taiwan ends, and I’m no longer a translator for the group, will you still talk to me like how you did for the past few weeks?

Would things become how it was before I became a translator? Would you be affected when SJM’s long stay ends? You’ll just resume to your usual life routine, right? That life routine before I returned to South Korea, that life routine which I don’t exist in.

I’m worried, KyuHyun. I’m worried because I know that I’ll be affected.

This month of being SJM’s translator had been like an emotional roller-coaster for me:

The excitement and shock I felt when I found out that I’ll be translating for KyuHyun’s group.

The giddiness I felt when we accidentally kissed due to (mainly) Ninja-Hyukkie and Master Mimi’s sabotage.

The jealousy and rage I felt when MinNa came into the scene, the bitterness and pain when I got attacked by that mob of KyuBies.

The comfort I got from KyuHyun when he took care of me after that incident – the way he held me close and cleaned my wounds.

The fun and childishness I felt from our violent rounds of pillow fights when we were trapped in the hotel due to the heavy rain.

And now, the warmth I feel when I fall asleep on your shoulder.

Realization hit me; I still want KyuHyun to be part of my life – even if it means only being his translator, even if I secretly yearn to be more than a translator to him. Yes, I love him.

Thanks for the encouraging and cute comments that made me think otherwise whenever I feel unconfident about an update. (Yeah... I'm quite an insecure person - my confidence level is anything but high. Oh well...) So... Yay~! >^_^>o *hands cookies to all*
