[Cho KyuHyun’s POV]

“Oh, the show’s starting!” Henry chirped.

It was 11pm and all the members had just settled down in the living room. The television was playing the show that was recorded earlier on. The show started and a close up of Henry, SungMin and I swept through the screen. HyunRi was seated behind us, fiddling nervously with the hem of her shirt.

The show continued playing; the content was the same that was recorded, only cutting out some parts here and there occasionally.

Well, it was pretty funny seeing HyunRi swallow nervously before she did any translations. She seemed nervous being on television working as a translator for the first time. I have to admit that she looks not bad on television though.

I continued to observe her from the TV screen, chuckling softly to myself whenever she bit her lip nervously or when she breathe a sigh of relief after each successful translation.

Then the part when the MC asked about my first kiss came.

HyunRi held up the microphone to her lips and said, “She’s asking you about your first kiss. How old were you at that time and how did it happen…?” She trailed off and looked away.

My eyes widened for a second at the question and I smoothly lied, “I had my first kiss during the second year of high school, by a staircase at the back of the school.”

The MC clapped excitedly, “How did it felt?”

“Wet,” I replied. “It felt wet.”

RyeoWook turned to me, “But KyuHyunnie, I thought you had your first kiss when you were twelve?”

“What—”

“Remember that time when you told us that you stole a kiss from a girl that you frequently played pranks on during the Christmas party hosted on the last day of Elementary School?”

My eyes widened and I quickly covered RyeoWook’s mouth by holding him in a headlock and covering his mouth.

“Ooomf!” The poor boy struggled under my hold. “I can’t breathe! Hmmmf!”

I turned to my left; the other members were staring at me, bewildered by my actions. Strangely, HyunRi was looking away, as if she was trying to hide her face. I quickly released RyeoWook.

A wave of horror washed through my body as the worst thought flashed in my mind.

She doesn’t know about it…right?

I eyed HyunRi again, this time, she met my gaze. As soon as she did, she quickly looked away. Her cheeks were in a faint shade of pink.

No. Way. How did she find out that I…well…secretly kissed her?

My heartbeat started rising again at that thought.

Wait a minute. Why is my heart beating so quickly? It was only a kiss, right? Right?! IT WAS MERELY A KISS, WHY AM I MAKING SUCH A BIG DEAL OUT OF IT? ESPECIALLY YOU, HEART, STOP BEATING SO QUICKLY! I MERELY KISSED HER ON THE LIPS—THAT’S ALL, NO BIGGIE. MY FIRST KISS WENT TO BYUL HYUNRI. SO WHAT? I DON’T LIKE HER OR ANYTHING, SO WHY AM I MAKING A FUSS OUT OF THIS. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHY AM I SCREAMING AT MYSELF IN MY HEAD?! OH SHUT UP, BRAIN! I MEAN IT, SHUT UP, NOW!

Oh my Siwon, I must be going crazy.

[Byul HyunRi’s POV]

RyeoWook turned to KyuHyun, “But KyuHyunnie, I thought you had your first kiss when you were twelve?”

“What—”

“Remember that time when you told us that you stole a kiss from a girl that you frequently played pranks on during the Christmas party hosted on the last day of Elementary School?”

So it’s true?

*ba-bump* *ba-bump* *ba-bump*

I took a deep breath and turned to KyuHyun, his face was red. He tilted his head towards his left and he quickly looked away the second our eyes met.

K-KyuHyun, he really stole my first kiss?

“Alright, you guys,” SiWon switched off the television. “Time for bed.”

We mumbled ‘goodnight’s to each other and each of us went into our respective rooms.

I didn’t bother to switch on the light when I entered my room. Instead, I blindly fumbled around in the dark for the switch of the bedside lamp. The room was then dimly lighted by the warm yellow light the bedside lamp emitted. I flopped myself onto the bed and rolled onto my back.

It was pretty uncomfortable just now throughout the rest of the television show. I managed to not make any eye contact with KyuHyun. The other Super Junior M members didn’t seem to notice that though.

I sighed and buried my face into the soft pillow before reaching to switch off the bedside lamp.

[Cho KyuHyun’s POV]

SiWon had been peacefully asleep for quite some time already. While he happily snored away, I stared into the ceiling, unable to fall asleep.

Aish… Now HyunRi is clearly avoiding me. How should I get rid of this awkwardness?

Maybe I should just go straight to her and tell her the truth.

Or should I act as if nothing happened?

Hey! Maybe I should shove a jumbo-sized strawberry-chocolate pie in her head!

No way… The thought of coming in contact with pie irks me too badly.

I messed up my hair in frustration; there was something I didn’t get. Why am I getting frustrated over this? Why?! WHY AM I— Shut up, brain. I’m so not letting you scream in my head this time.

Alright, I shall just go to sleep and forget about this. Yup, time to sleep~! Goodnight, all my lovely ELFs!

…

Screw it, I just can’t fall asleep.

I kicked off the covers and got off the bed and made my way to the bathroom. I opened the bathroom door as softly as possible. After entering the bathroom, I closed the door softly behind me. The door clicked close.

Strangely, I heard the click of another door closing.

I looked up and at the same time, she also looked up.

Standing right in front of me was Byul HyunRi.  She must have entered the bathroom from the door which connected her room with this bathroom.

Great, here comes the awkwardness.

*jumps in ninja style* HIYA~! Okay, so my 'O' level Chinese examinations ended yesterday and it's 11/11/11 today :D and my school extension lessons ended today, so it's officially holiday now~! *fireworks* Anyway, I'm so sorry if this chapter is not up to standard T^T *head down* I've been writting  alot inese Language in preparation for my exam; so when I was writting this chapter, my brain was all 中文字超级小弟历旭利特etc. So I'm really apologetic.
