[3^rd Person’s POV]

The fighting between KyuHyun and HyunRi continued, only that it got much violent. Especially when the two found out that they were allocated to the same middle school and the same class AGAIN!

“Cho KyuHyun…” HyunRi growled under her breath as she clenched her hands into fists when she realized what KyuHyun had done to her Mathematics workbook and her school bag. “You bastard…”

HyunRi picked up her Mathematics workbook, held it back as far as it would go, and flung it with full force at the conceited head a few meters in front of her. The workbook hit KyuHyun’s head hard and fell open on the floor, revealing the words “Byul HyunRi is a mathematics failure and loser.” It was the fifth time HyunRi caught KyuHyun vandalizing her belongings in four days.

After the Mathematics workbook hit the ground, KyuHyun crashed onto the floor beside the workbook. The impact of HyunRi’s throw had knocked KyuHyun out, unconscious.

“Omo! Kyu oppa!” An irritating, high-pitched voice squeaked.

A group of KyuHyun worshipers raced towards their precious oppa. HyunRi rolled her eyes as the girls fought with each other to carry out CPR for KyuHyun. HyunRi secretly called those girls ‘KyuBies’, a combination of ‘KyuHyun’ and ‘Barbie’. This was because they always went all girly whenever KyuHyun was around.

[HyunRi’s POV]

YES! HEAD-SHOT! BWHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHA! KYUHYUN… NOW, KYUHYUN IS TOTALLY K.O.ed!  SERVES YOU RIGHT, SNOB!

I literally burst out laughing and I looked at my hand smugly. Who knew my lovely hand would be able to throw a book with so much force that it knocked someone out. Thank you, hand! Thank you for knocking KyuHyun out! I got my revenge on that snob!

As I was busy thanking my hand, I failed to notice the approaching mob of KyuBies.

I only noticed them when I started to realise the towering shadow that blocked the daylight away from me. So I looked up and instantly wished that I didnt.

Oh my Shishus.

Kim MinNa, the so-called leader of the KyuBies, had her face only a few inches away from mine, starring down at me with her beady eyes. The sight was terrible times ten. Well, just imagine an eagle (with bleached blond hair and in a school uniform) starring down at you. Behind her stood many other KyuBies with their arms folded across their chests.

 Nooooooo, Shisus, please! I don’t want to die being stabbed by beaks.

Anyway, MinNa was about to unleash the mob of KyuBies on me when a voice boomed into the classroom. “BYUL HYUNRI! TO THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE, NOW! Meanwhile, could one of you please help KyuHyun to the nursing room, please?”

The shallow-minded KyuBies then realized that they had left KyuHyun lying on the floor. As they start to fight over each other to carry “Kyu oppa’s” bag, I quickly escaped to the principal’s office.

“Byul HyunRi, you may enter now.”

I lumbered into the principal’s office. It is already my sixth time in here in four days; all thanks to my awesome ideas on getting revenge back at Cho KyuHyun.

“Miss Byul,” squawked Mrs. Won, our beloved principal with the worst fashion sense (possibly in the entire world. I mean which principal with a normal brain would wear rainbow-colored tights with a wooly cardigan with reindeer prints all over it to school? It’s just sad.)  “Take a seat.”

I took a seat in front of Mrs. Won.

“I’m afraid to say that your conduct has been getting from bad to worse,” Mrs. Won said, shaking her head. “This time, you even assaulted our star pupil. You are lucky that KyuHyun has already regained consciousness, or we might have had to send him to the hospital.”

What? I assault KyuHyun, the star pupil?! What does Mrs. Won even know?

Mrs. Won continued to rave on, “In the past four days, you’ve been sent here six times. And all the reasons for you to be sent here have to do with you bullying KyuHyun. Honestly HyunRi, what did KyuHyun ever do to you? “

I replied, “Today, he vandalized my Mathematics workbook. It’s the fifth time already.”

“Miss Byul, KyuHyun is a very hardworking pupil that the school cherishes a lot. I am sure that he is mature enough to not commit such childish acts.”

What? What?! ‘He is mature enough to not commit such childish acts’?!

What about the time when he played the prank of leaving a live guppy in my water bottle behind my back? That time, I drank the water and almost got choked to death. Luckily I managed to spit the little fish back into the bottle and let it free into a nearby river.

Or what about the time when he ordered a Kyubie to steal my clothes from the female locker room when I was showering after Physical Education class? I hid in the shower room for hours until a kind senior helped me borrow clothes. Plus, because of that, I was late for all the classes and I was sent to detention for a week straight.

I would have reported all this to Mrs. Won or the teachers, if they would even listen and believe me. It’s so unfair that just because KyuHyun’s parents are powerful and important people in the education system, KyuHyun gets priority in everything. Because of his parents’ status, many teachers were biased towards him.

“HyunRi, I want you to reflect on your actions today and apologize to KyuHyun.”

I had no motivation or energy to fight back anymore. “Yes, miss. Can I leave now?”

“One more thing, Miss Byul, your behavior is a very bad example to the school population. You have repeatedly broken the school rules many times. I’m afraid that I will have to suspend you from HwaShin Middle Schoo for two weeksl. My clerk has already called your father to inform him with the news. I am terribly sorry and reluctant.”

I smirked inwardly, suspend me for all I care.  Anyway, I was going to leave this school in the first place. Appa’s company had relocated him to Singapore. For his job, we’ll be moving to Singapore in a week’s time. We were already planning to withdraw my attendance from school.

I was about to exit when Mrs. Won said, “Even though you are no longer a pupil of HwaShin Middle School, you still have to apologize to KyuHyun. I’ll be sending a prefect to make sure it happens.”

School had already ended and I was sitting in the school’s cafeteria eating a jumbo-sized strawberry-chocolate pie. It was my favorite food that was sold in the school’s cafeteria and it’s probably the only thing I’ll miss about this school.

I heard a group of students walk into empty cafeteria. I looked up and saw KyuHyun surrounded with five giggly Kyubies. They stopped and sat down two tables in front of me. I decided to ignore them and enjoy my yummy pie.

I was happily savoring the pie when a beaky voice squawked, “Yah! Byul HyunRi! Mrs. Won told me to make sure that you apologize to Kyu-oppa before leaving the school! I want you to come and apologize to Kyu-oppa NOW!”

The other Kyubies giggled in agreement.

I sighed, feeling sick and tired from the whole Kyubie-hearts-Kyuhyun system. Why wouldn't they even let me have my pie in peace?

An idea popped into my mind. Hey, since I was already leaving, why not make my last day in HwaShin middle school a memorable one? Plus, I really want to leave some sort of long-lasting impact here...like a legacy or something.

So. I picked up the pie and walked confidently to KyuHyun’s table. KyuHyun was sitting with his right ankle over his left knee with a smug look on his face.

“Kyuhyun-sshi,” I said in my sweetest voice. “I’m very sorry...”

KyuHyun just smirked.

I continued, “I’m very sorry that I failed to knock sense into your head previously! So hopefully this will wake you up!”

Then, I shoved the jumbo-sized strawberry-chocolate pie straight into his face. The Kyubies where so shocked that they screamed. It was quite amusing seeing strawberry jam and chocolate sauce running down his hair and face. It was a really a sigt that worthed a standing ovation, I'd tell you.

“Goodbye, Kyu-oppa,” I sang and skipped back to my original seat and grabbed my back leaving KyuHyun gapsing behind me in shock like a goldfish.

After that, I walked out of HwaShin Middle School with my head held high.

Goodbye HwaShin and goodbye South Korea.
