The rain was a soothing lullaby, and so Insoo woke the following morning fully rested and yet with a cramp in his right shoulder from sleeping so long. He looked around the small hut to see that most everyone was still sleeping, even the habitual early riser Yoseob. His small frame was cuddled up next to Eli once again, but this time the other boy's arm was wrapped around Yoseob, holding him close. Insoo shook his head at the irony of the pairing and glanced around the hut once again.
This time he noticed that two forms were missing, and he frowned as he stood and stepped outside to look around their campsite. The fire was burning lightly where they had left it in the night, but Yixing and Hyuna were no where in sight. Insoo rubbed the sleep from his eyes as he turned a full circle, hoping to find a tree marker left by the two. To his surprise and joy there was one, leading in what he thought was actually a familiar direction. With one last glance toward his sleeping compatriots, he set off after the missing two, curiosity thrumming through him.
After a good hour or two he was about ready to give up and turn back, but then heard the unmistakable sound of a girl's laughter. He followed the noise and soon came out onto the beach they had left what seemed like forever ago, though less than a week had truly passed. As he stepped into the bright light of the beach, his eyes focused and he saw Hyuna standing on one of the large rocks around the salt water pools, a coat in her hand as she looked down at something in the water.
"Catch!" Came the cry from below, and to Insoo's startlement a fish came flying out of the rock pools, straight toward Hyuna. She missed it and giggled as it soared past her, and as she turned to chase it across the sand she came face to face with Insoo.
"Oh! You startled me!" She said, giggles still escaping her. Her long hair was tangled by the wind with sticks hanging from it,but her cheeks were bright with the excitement of fishing. "Catch that little dude!" She cried, and Insoo obeyed with a smile and leaned down to grab the struggling fish. As he held it and wondered where he was supposed to put it, Hyuna stepped over and opened the coat to reveal a small stash of about six fish, all flopping weakly inside the makeshift bag. "Drop him in," she said, and once again Insoo obeyed, mouth already watering at the thought of eating fish.
"How did you catch all of these?" He couldn't keep the excitement out of his voice as he questioned her with wide eyes, and she laughed in return. "I didn't... it's all him!" She pointed down into the pools and Insoo stepped close enough to the edge to look down and see Yixing waist deep in the water, focused closely on something large and green he held in his hands. And without a shirt. Insoo caught his breath and diverted his attention to the object Yixing was clutching, finding his voice after a few tries to ask what it was.
"He made a net!" Hyuna said with another bright smile, and Yixi
