*Sunjung's POV*

You walked into class, and seated yourself down. 
It was free period, and Ren sat next to you again. 

"Yaah, what's your answer?" he smiled. 

You didn't respond. 

Suddenly, a man came in the room, and Ren's eyes flashed with curiousity. 

"Ah, you're Sunjung-sshi right? Annyeonghaseyo! I'm JR." he said to you. 

"Ah, annyeonghaseyo," you replied back. "It's nice to meet you, JR." 
"JR-ah, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to have free period somewhere else?" Ren asked. 
"Ah, Ren-sshi, I needed you to get me a broom," JR said. "I have no idea where the supply closet is,"

Ren frowned. 

"Why do you think I know where it is?" he said. 
"Ah, you take a left from here-" you tried giving JR instructions, but he waved you off. 

"Yaah, I don't know, I don't know!" he said. 

"I could go..." you suggested. 

"Really?" JR's eyes brightened. "But I can't make a girl like you go to get a broom," He frowned. 

Ren sighed. 
"I'll go with her," he stood up. 

"Really? Good Ren," he patted Ren's head. 

"Yeah, yeah," Ren muttered. 

"Hurry back!" JR smiled. 

"You wish," Ren pulled me up, and followed me to the supply closet. 

We arrived there, and Ren walked in to get a broom. 
"I don't know why he insists that he can't get it himself. Lazy pabo..." he said, bending down to grab one. 

"Ne," you said quietly, inspecting the dark room. 

You waited by the door patiently. 

Suddenly, you felt a pair of hands push you and you landed in Ren's arms, who narrowly caught you at the last minute. 

"What the-?" Ren said, and heard the door shut. 

He carefully set you down and fumbled with the doorknob. 

It wouldn't open. 

"What's wrong?" you said, panic rising in your voice. 

Ren finally gave up, and he groaned, "We're locked in." 

"What?!" your eyes widened. 

It was pitch black, but you still saw the outline of Ren's body. 

He shifted to move next to you. 

You felt chills go down your spine as he rested his head on your shoulder.

"Ren-ah..." you started to say. 

"Shh, I'm tired," he replied. 

You didn't respond, and simply let him lay his head there. 

"Yaah, Sunjung-sshi, what do you think of me?" Ren asked. 

"A stupid pabo," you replied, laughing a bit. 

"Hmp," Ren pouted. 

"Ani, ani, just kidding. Well, you're Ren." you said. 

"And?" 

"And what else? Ren is Ren, no matter what." You felt yourself blush at these words. 

"Ah, really? Can I ask something? Have you ever thought of me as a girl...?" he asked quietly. 

"Pabo, of course not. Besides, I'm cuter." you teased. 

"You're the pabo. I'm the cutest." Ren gave you a kiss on your cheek. 

The spot he kissed burned warmly. 

"Ren-ah, about your question-" you started to say. 

"Ah, the one where I said I liked you?" 

"Ne," you replied. 

"Oh, um, I was only kidding around. I hope you didn't take me seriously." he smiled. 

Your heart sank. 
"Ani, I didn't," you lied. 

"Ah, good. I don't know what I would've done." Ren sighed a breath of relief, and stood up to stretch, while you still sat on the floor. 
You felt like you were going to burst into tears. 
You thought he truly liked you.

Oh... You were wrong. 

"But you're still cute!" Ren assured. "Cuter than me," 

You smiled weakly. 

"Okay." You replied, and let a small tear fall, before wiping it off.

No! You're Lee Sunjung, the popular girl and the one who always has a mask on! Don't get discouraged because of this! He's just a pabo, a pabo! Pabo, pabo, pabo, pabo! 

Suddenly, the door opened. 

JR poked his head in. 

"Ah, are you two okay?" he asked. 

Ren looked at him irritably. 

"We got locked in because of your stupidity!" he hissed. 

"Ah, ah, mianae. Hey, at least I got worried and asked people for directions here, so I could look for you two!" JR pouted. 

"Whatever." Ren groaned. 

He walked out, and you stood up. 

"Did anything happen in there?" JR asked curiously. 

You raised a brow and handed him a broom. 
"No. Nothing happened." you said bitterly and walked off to the girl's bathroom.

You locked yourself in a stall.  

Just forget about him, he's not worth your time, Sunjung. You thought to yourself. 

Yet, no matter how hard you tried. 

You kept on liking him, and the tears that fell from your eyes couldn't stop.

After ten minutes, you wiped your eyes and checked your face. 

It didn't look so puffy after two minutes, and you regained your composure and walked back to class, already regretting every step.
