*Sunjung's POV*

"Wh-what do you mean by that?" you stared at Ren in awe. 

After stealing your first kiss on purpose, he said he wanted to date?
What's going on?

"I meant what I said," he replied.

"Really? It looked like you were just playing around." you pouted.  

"Aww. Lee Sunjung's pouting, how cuuute," Ren teased. 
"Stop it," you smiled and punched him playfully. 

But then you caught yourself. 

This was probably the first time someone other than Nayoung made you smile. 

You regained your composure.

"Ren..." you paused as he leaned closer to you. 

He rested his head on your shoulder, his lips so close to your ear, it gave you tingles. 

"I can give you happiness." Ren whispered so quietly it gave you chills down your spine. 

You didn't move. 

"I'll give you what you want. Kisses, hugs, love," he continued. 

Then, he gave your ear a peck. 

You twitched, and Ren smiled. 
"I can give you more, so much more than that." he said. 

"We could get married you know. We could have little babies. I'll bet they look as cute as you," he teased. 

You weren't sure if he was just joking or not. 

All you knew was that you couldn't take it anymore. 

His voice, his kisses, his skin touching yours gave you chills and tingles. 

You couldn't handle it anymore. 

"Ren-" Before you could finish your sentence, his phone rang. 

He cursed under his breath and turned to take it. 
You took this opportunity to run away.

When he turned back, you weren't there. 

"Ah, shisus... I missed my chance. Well, it was fun to play around." he smirked and went back to shopping. 

Back where you were, you hid in the seasoning aisle. 

You clutched your chest, your heart beating fast and loud. 

You've never felt this way for someone. 

The chills and shivers and tingles still lingered around your spine. 

Taking a deep breath of relief that you narrowly escaped saying yes to his proposal, you quickly finished shopping and paid, making sure Ren was no where in sight. 

The next morning, you told Nayoung everything out of panic. 

When you finished telling the story, her eyes were wide open. 

"Woah." she said. 

"Yeah." you replied.

"So what now? Are you avoiding him?" Nayoung asked. 

"I-I don't know," you sighed. "I just know that I don't want to be alone with him." 

The day went by smoothly, or smoother than you thought. 

It was just free period you worried about. 

Taking your seat, you groaned as Ren walked in the room. 

He looked at you and before you had time to look away, your eyes locked with his. 

He smirked and took the open seat next to you. 

Nayoung tried to conceal her laughter, but she was doing a hell of a bad job at it. 

She trembled and tidbits of her laugh were let out. 

I mouthed a 'Shut up' to her and tried avoiding Ren's gaze. 

"You look nice today," he smiled. 

"Kamsahamnida," you replied slowly. 

"Did you enjoy yesterday?" Ren's voice was like a purr.

You didn't reply.

"Neee, Sunjung~" he coaxed, playing with your arm. His voice sent chills down your spine. 

You quietly cursed in your head. 

"Did you think about my questiooon~" he teased. 

You still didn't answer. 

"Yahh, why are you being stubborn~"

Suddenly, a tall, average looking guy came up to Ren, his face red with anger. 

"You gay prick! Go do your makeup somewhere else, and stop bothering Sunjung!"

See what you mean when you say they treat him like trash? 

Ren ignored him, and focused on you.

"Hey, you...!" The guy raised his arm to slap him, and you looked in alarm. 
Even Nayoung gave a little squeak.

Just as it was about to hit his head, Ren caught his arm. 
His gaze was hard and cold. 

Before Ren could say anything, you interjected. 

"Yah! Stop that right now!" You were indignant and curt with your words. "You shut up about his appearance! You don't know who he is to judge!"

The guy flared with anger, but he didn't dare hit you.

"Yaaah Sunjung-sshi! Wooo! Way to go!" the class hooted.

Ren looked at you gratefully, and you gave a small smile in return.

After all the commotion settled down, Ren went back to teasing you.

"Sunjung-ah~ Yes or no?" he said with aegyo.

"Sungjung-ah~ Say yes so we can commence the Renjung couple~"  Nayoung added. 

You laughed. 

"Sunjung-ah~" Ren cooed. 

"Hmp!" You crossed your arms teasingly. 

"Ahhh, Sunjung-sshi~" 

Out of no where, Ren's phone rang. 

"Ah, I've got to take this."

He turned and you couldn't hear what he was saying. 

Nayoung tapped your shoulder. 
"Come onnnnnn," she dragged the last tone of the word. 

"Not you too," you rolled your eyes. 

When Ren finished the call, the final bell rang. 

"Ha, I've got to get home," you said in relief. 

"I'll drive you!" Ren suggested. 

"Ah, kamsahamnida, but I've got my own car." You bowed and quickly rushed out with Nayoung. 

"Sunjung-ah~ I'll wait forever~" Ren teased. 

You weren't even sure if he was playing around or not. 

Ah, whatever. 

You quickly got into your car and drove away. 

*Ren's POV*

Hm. He wondered if you took all of this seriously. 

He was just playing around. 
Well, mostly playing around. 

He still kept on hating people. 

It's just that he didn't hate Sunjung.

It really surprised him when she stood up for him. 

He was capable of doing it himself, but it was really warm when it comes from someone else. 

Ah, oh well. 

He headed to his car, and drove off to the dorms he shared with JR, Minhyun, Baekho, and Aron. 

"Ren-ah~" JR was the first to greet him, giving him a hug. 

"Welcome home," his bandmates welcomed him in. 

"Ah, Ren, how was today? What did the girl say?" JR looked at him. 

"Hm? Sunjung? Oh, she didn't reply," he gave a smile. 

"Waah? A girl doesn't like Ren?" Minhyuk raised a brow.

"It's not that she doesn't like me," Ren chuckled. "I'm just playing around."

"With her feelings?" Baekho frowned. 

"Of course not," Ren said indignantly. "Who do you think I am?" 

"So wait, what? You're playing around with what?" Aron looked confused. 

Ren paused to think about how he should say it. 

"Well, I don't exactly like her like that. But it's fun to ," he finally said. 

There was a pause as everyone processed this in their minds. 

"WHAT THE. REN. WHAT THE HELL." Baekho came over and gave him a noogie. "YOU DON'T DO THAT TO GIRLS. WHAT THE HELL HAVE I BEEN TEACHING YOU."

"Nothing." Ren said coolly. 

"Oh yeah. Right. No manners and nothing on how to treat a girl. Okay. LESSONS START TOMORROW." he tapped Ren's forehead, and sighed. 

"But Ren, what if she says yes?" Aron looked at him, worried. 

"Then I'll play along?" Ren said. 

"That's not how you treat girls, ..." Minhyuk frowned. 

Ren rolled his eyes. 

"Yeah, well, I've got homework. Excuse me," he took his shoes off, and headed to his room. 

"He's being stubborn." Minhyuk said when Ren finally went into his room.

"Yeah," Aron agreed. "Playing with a girl's feelings like that..." 

"Don't worry guys," JR said evillishly. "I've got a plan to make her say yes." 

"But didn't he say that if she says yes, he'll just play along?" Baekho said tiredly. His voice was deep.

"Pf, he's Ren. Our Ren. We know him better than anyone else, and of course he's fallen for her. He just doesn't know it." JR smirked.

"Hm," Baekho replied. "Talks about her day and night. I guess so," 

"Okay guys, I've got a plan. Now let's huddle together," JR said. 

They formed a small circle and JR was whispering the plan.

Once he was done, they straightened up, and Aron looked at JR. 

"You're kind of a genius." he said. 

JR rolled his eyes. 

"What can I say? I'm JR." he praised himself.

"Don't get too prideful now. Your plan could totally fumble." Baekho mumbled. 

JR rolled his eyes. 

"The plan will commence... tomorrow."
