Today you and Jongup went to obstetrician around his place to check your pregnancy. It had been a month since your last visit to doctor which was the first time that you know about your pregnancy.

When the nurse called you to come in a room to get checked, you held Jongup’s hand tightly. Hoping that you’re your pregnancy would be okay. Because you were bearing an angel’s baby, not human’s. You wished that your pregnancy wouldn’t be different from normal pregnancy. And you hoped the most that your baby is healthy.

“wow, look at your beautiful baby… she’s healthy and beautiful, just like her mother…” said the obstetrician when she did USG.

“she?” I asked her.

“yes, your baby is a girl, ma’am”

“but how could you know my baby is a girl?”

“in your second trimester, you could know about your baby’s gender. Now you’re 6 months pregnant, right? Or I shouldn’t tell you about your baby’s gender?”

I looked at Jongup, feeling confused. A month ago the doctor said I was 2 months pregnant, but now, I’m 6 months pregnant? How could this be possible? But Jongup was just smiling, calming your down.

“oh, it’s okay, doc… as long as my baby is healthy, I’m happy” said me to the obstetrician.

“okay, that’s all for now. Don’t forget to drink the vitamins I gave and consume only healthy foods.” Then she tidied the tools and I fixed my shirt.

“okay, doctor. Thank you so much…”

 

As you both walked back to Jongup‘s home, you still couldn’t help it but curious about this pregnancy. You know what’s inside you isn’t human. Is this really normal? When you should be 3 months pregnant, but you’re actually 6 months pregnant.

“Jongup…” you called Jongup who walked besides you. His hand held you.

“hmm?” he faced you, stopped his step for a moment, before you led him to walk again.

“is that normal?” you was still wondering about this quick pregnancy thing.

“what’s ‘that’?” he didn’t get what you meant.

“this pregnancy, I didn’t know that this grows faster than normal pregnancy” you said, expressed your worry.

“of course it’s normal. How long is human’s normal pregnancy? Why did you so shock just now?” asked Jongup as if he didn’t know it at all. Or… he didn’t pretend.

“9 months” Jongup seemed really didn’t know about it at all when you saw his expression after you answered him.

“wow! That’s quite long time. No wonder you just shocked.” He smiled. Then he grabbed your shoulders and pulled you sou you became closer to him. “don’t worry, you’ll be fine, baby… I guarantee. Because nothing can hurt her. She’s strong.” Said Jongup while his hand rubbing your stomach.

“yeah… I can’t forget that I’m having an angel’s baby” you said and smiled to Jongup. Then you two held hands just like a new lovey-dovey couple until you both reached home.

 

“so… how’s my nephew?” said Himchan as you and Jongup reached home. Himchan was sitting alone watching television.

“niece…” Jongup said made Himchan expressionless.

“so… it’s a girl?” said Himchan with a happy voice like he hold a scream.

“yeap,” you answered him and then you saw Jongup with smile painted on both of you and Jongup’s faces.

“wow, I like girls!” Himchan shouted but then Jongup gave him a stare like he wanted to kill Himchan. “oops, I mean, it’ll be nice to have a niece. It’d be nice to have a little girl in this house” Himchan tried to make Jongup calm down.

“yeah, like I will let my baby girl live in this house with your existence around her” Jongup jokingly replied Himchan who pouted as soon as he heard Jongup. You just laughed and hit Jongup’s chest lightly, knew that he was joking.

“excuse me, but did I just hear about a girl?” out of nowhere, Zelo came and joined the conversation. A smirk was drawn on his face.

“yah!” you hit Zelo’s head lightly, but Zelo still didn’t have any idea about what you were talking about. “it’s your niece, you’re talking about” I continued.

“wow, noona! So I’ll have a niece! I love it!” Zelo was jumping happily and holding my hands.

“don’t be happy yet. Our niece has a fierce dad” Himchan looked at Jongup with such a pouty face, and then Zelo stopped jumping and frowned.

“I can trust you a little bit, Zelo, but not with Himchan” said Jongup.

“why meee??” Himchan whined.

“yeah, like I don’t know you. You only watch for girls since you’ve been on earth, right?” said Jongup sarcastically.

“okay… you got me. But I’ll change when I have a niece. So I’ll be your daughter’s guardian angel” Himchan tried to convince Jongup that he would be a nice uncle.

“but she already has her guardian angel” Jongup answered coolly, made Himchan a little bit annoyed.

“calm down, boys… calm down… I will make dinner for us. So you all better be nice and don’t fight each other, because the baby won’t like that. And if you’re still quarreling, I won’t make dinner” and bam! My words were like magic, they stopped quarreling and went to watch television together while waited me to finished cooking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At your house…

 

“I shouldn’t make her go… I should make her stay in here, and be with her. This is all because of you, we lost our daughter!” your mom crying and hitting your dad. She just couldn’t believe that she lost you. She regretted what she had done.

“stop mom… stop… she wouldn’t like to see you in this state” your sister tried to calm your mom down. She was crying too.

Your dad just sat there, frustated. Between regretting for what he had done and wanted you to get back. He cupped his face in his palms.

“I want her back, but she’s gone. And it’s all you fault!” your mom couldn’t stop blaming your dad.
