“appa…” a little girl pulled his father’s shirt. She was so beautiful and cheerful.

 

“what is it, my baby girl?” his father asked her sweetly. He kneeled in front of his daughter and brushed her hair.

 

“my friends always come to school with their mother. And yesterday was mother’s day, so everyone’s mom was coming to school… but I only have my aunties. It’s not that I don’t like to be with aunties, I just want to be like my friends, to be with my mom…” she said. Eventough that was a painful confession, she wasn’t looked sad. She just said it plainly.

 

“you know, baby… we are different from them. We have what they don’t have, and vice versa… we can’t be like them, it’s our destiny. I thought you knew it, baby…” his father explained. Actually he was hurt more than his daughter. He was hurt, that his baby girl couldn’t be like other children yet he couldn’t meet the love of his life.

 

“but appa…”

 

“look Moon Jeong Ae, we’ll meet your mom when she’s ready, okay?”

 

“you promise, appa?” Jeong Ae asked enthustiasticly.

 

“I promise, baby… now, don’t be jealous of them, because you have the greatest mom among all of them. When they see your mom, they’ll be jealous of you”

 

“I can’t wait to meet my mom… I want to see her really soon, appa!”

 

“don’t worry, she’s always around us. But we have to keep ourselves apart, so we can meet her later…” Jongup explained to her daughter. “since I promise you to meet you with your mom, you have to promise me one thing…” he said with almost-serious tone.

 

“what is it, appa?” Jeong Aee asked curiously.

 

“once you met your mom, never made her do something she don’t want to do” that time, Jongup was very serious.

 

“why would I do that?”

 

“you’ll know it later, baby… now, go play with your friends again. Appa will wait you here” and then that little girl, Moon Jeong Ae, went to play again with her friends.

 

 

 

 

You and Youngjae were in amusement park, having so much fun. But after played some amusement-rides, you asked him to get some meal.

 

“Youngjae, I want that…” you said to Youngjae cutely while you pointed to a food-selling cart.

 

“then let’s go have some. I’m hungry too” he said. And then you both went to that cart, bought same foods.

“Youngjae, this tteokboki is very yummy, you wanna try?” you said to him after you got your meals. You bought a bowl of tteokboki and he bought an oden.

 

“ahahah, there’s sauce on your face” Youngjae was laughing at your face, but then he swept the sauce with his finger.

 

“yaah!~” you got embarassed, and you cleaned your mouth with your fingers, so there won’t be any sauce again. “here, have some tteokboki” you fed Youngjae, and he ate it well.

 

“do you want my oden?” he asked you as he gave you his oden.

 

“thank you, Youngjae…” you took a bite of his oden.

 

You both had a happy time while eating your meals. You were always laughing when he made a joke and tried to be funny, yet he melted you in many ways. He was such a sweet guy.

 

But there were somebody’s watching you from afar. You just didn’t realize it.

 

“appa, why is eomma having so much fun with other guy? Doesn’t she love you?” Jeong Ae asked Jongup after he let her know about you as her mom. She felt so confused when she saw you were so happy with Youngjae, instead with Jongup.

 

“Jeong Ae, she didn’t even remember us…” Jongup said to Jeong Ae as he looked at you painfully.
