Chapter 11

“Good morning sweetie”

“Annyong… oppa…”

Kyu Jong smiled as he looked at a half awake Krystel lying beside him. 
Brushing her hair aside, he was about to kiss her when someone barged 
into the room suddenly. 

“Unnie! Hyun Joong oppa… omo! Yah! What the…”

He pulled the covers over them immediately upon seeing Kimmy, who was 
equally shocked seeing him in bed with Krystel. It was a scene of awkwardness 
and the both of them blushed profusely.

“Kimmy ah…”

“Oh my god…”

Another voice was heard coming from outside and Kimmy slammed the door 
shut and locked it before their mother could enter the room, or she would have
fainted at the sight of a half Kyu Jong and Krystel under the covers, with
their clothes lying all over the floor.

“Omma it‘s ok I can handle it!”

“Yah… can‘t you knock before entering?”

Kyu Jong asked, obviously irritated by the sudden intrusion.

“Yah! What do you think you’re doing? Hurry and get your clothes on for goodness
sake! You could have just waited a while more and locked the door you know… I
can‘t imagine what would have happened if it was someone else walking in…”

“Turn around and stop looking!”

They got dressed immediately and sat down by the edge of the bed, 
waiting for Kimmy to begin speaking again.

“Yah… you adulterous pair… Hyun Joong oppa called to cancel the wedding. 
And Appa is furious…”

“I know…”

“What? You knew about it?”

“Oppa…”

Krystel hung her head low as she thought about what happened the night before,
and Hyun Joong. She felt guilty for changing her mind and hurting him, just before
the day of their wedding. 

But she could no longer deny that her heart had always been with Kyu Jong, all the
things he had done for her, and her mother’s words… she didn’t want to make the
wrong decision and regret it.

“Hyung looked me up last night… and he said that it was all an act… to bring us back together”

Kyu Jong looked at Krystel sheepishly as he explained to them what happened
the night before, which prompted him to rush home and make up with her 
before it was too late.

“Oh…”

But she knew from deep within that it wasn’t the case, for he had 
backed out of the marriage for their happiness, for her and Kyu Jong.

“What are we going to do about Appa and Omma? They‘ll be expecting 
an explanation soon… you know the guests who were invited…”

They made their way down to the living room where their parents were waiting
after a serious discussion hand in hand, bracing themselves for a definite lecture
from the elders, for the only way out was to be honest and face it before matters
got even more complicated.

“Appa, Omma… the wedding will go ahead” 

“But Hyun Joong…”

“But the groom… will be me”

The worried expression on their parents faces turned serious 
upon hearing Kyu Jong, and his dad was the first to speak up.

“Kyu Jong ah, what are you doing? One moment you‘re together and running away from 
each other the next… and now… Are you guys treating marriage as a game or something?”

“Aniyo. We’re just being true to ourselves. Because it‘s for a lifetime. I can‘t deny that 
I love her more than anything else in the world. I was wrong for not being honest enough…”

“Oppa…”

“Krystel… are you sure about it?”

“De… Appa, Omma… I‘m sorry for all the mess…”

“Oppa… why are you staring at me like this?”

“You look stunning…”

Kyu Jong said as his eyes trailed Krystel who had just stepped 
out of the changing room in her gown, looking exceptionally beautiful.

“You look great too”

Krystel chuckled as she adjusted his tie. They were getting ready to make 
their way to the church where the guests were already beginning to arrive.

“Oppa… what happened to… Yoora?”

“Yah… why are you talking about her now?”

“Aniyo… it‘s just…”

“I‘ve already made it very clear that I‘ll have nothing to do with her anymore…”

“Really?”

“De… and I‘ve told the maids not to let her into the house or any where near…”

“You really should have done it long ago…”

“Mianhae…”

“Oppa… don‘t say this now…”

“I love you Stel”
