“Oppa, I missed you”

“What do you want? Go back to your rich boy…”

“Didn’t I tell you we broke up … can we get back together again?”

“Soo Jin ah, you know it’s impossible”

“Saengie Oppa! I got some pancakes for… oh mianhae…”

He remembered Joelle stepping into his office in the midst the quarrel between 
him and his ex girlfriend unknowingly and looking shocked. Soo Jin found out
where his office was and had come hoping to patch things up. 

He had managed to put everything behind after all these years, but it infuriated 
him to think that she had broken up with him back then because he was nothing
and come running back now that she got dumped by her boyfriend in return.

“Who’s she? Is it because of her?”

“Don’t be silly, she’s just a colleague. I won’t change my mind, so please don’t come again”

It was left with just the both of them after Soo Jin stormed out of the office. 
She said nothing and sat on the couch while he proceeded to grab a few bottles 
of beer from the refrigerator and began drinking away, until he suddenly threw 
the bottle against the wall in a moment of fury.

“Don’t do this to yourself…”

“What do you know?”

“She’s the one right? The one you loved…”

“I can always listen when you need someone to talk to… It was unfortunate that she didn’t 
know how to appreciate, but only if you learn to put the past behind then you can open up 
your heart and love again. Not all girls are like that…”

“Yeah… and does it make you any different from any of them by offering yourself to me?”

“What? What are you doing? Let go of me!”

Young Saeng gripped his hair as he recollected the events that happened that night and sighed. 

He knew had to find her again no matter how long it was going to take.

I’m sorry for not learning to appreciate you earlier. I’m sorry… for hurting you so deeply…
