Chapter 4

“What? Hospital? I'll be right there”

Jungmin rushed out of the house after receiving a call from Xin's best friend Joelle, his mind filled with worry as he sped towards the hospital.

“What happened? Was she staying with you all along?”

“De… Unnie fainted, but she's fine now. You guys might wanna have a talk…”

She was sobbing away on the pillow as he entered the ward and stood by the end 
of her bed, and was about to go up to her when he heard the familiar voices of their
parents. Their mothers to be exact.

“Jungmin ah! Omo, why are you crying Xin? Did he bully you?”

“Yah… I was just standing here… what did I do again?”

“Xin ah, be very careful from now on, don't hurt yourself and the baby ok?”

Xin's mother said as she helped her sit up on the bed, and his eyes widened as he
heard those words coming from her mother.

“Baby?”

“Yah you mean you haven't heard from her? You're going to be a dad soon”

“To think that we were so worried about whether you'll really get along… we're gonna be grandparents soon!”

Jungmin remained silent as their mothers fussed over Xin and chattered excitedly
about their grandchild, hoping for them to take their leave soon so he could have 
some time alone with her to for a much needed talk. 

Closing the door behind him after they finally left, he sat down beside Xin and 
pondered over what to say to her.

“Xin… about that night… mianhae… How have you been?”

“Fine…”

“The baby… is this why you want a divorce?” 

“…”

“Do you really wanna return to him that much?”

“Yah Park Jung Min! Don‘t you speak to her like that…”

He felt himself being lifted by the collar and was soon being hit in the face by 
Hyun Joong who had just arrived. He braced himself for another punch which 
didn’t come and he opened his eyes to find Joelle holding on to Hyun Joong.

“Stop it Hyun Joong oppa!”

“You‘re the reason she's in this state and suffering… how can you”

“Oppa no!”

“She broke up with him even before the both of you got married and hasn't seen him ever since!”

“Mwoh? The baby… is mine?”
