It's been years. Sulli nor Kai has heard of Taemin. Their parents have all aged. Sulli and Kai now have a handsome 3 year old son. 

Some times in the night, Sulli would just cry. She cried for being weak, for being stupid, for being Sulli. Kai couldn't do anything. He hated himself for that. He couldn't save his hyung, he couldn't even help the women he loves. He's weak. 

It was the middle of the night. Kai was fast asleep. Sulli beside him could stare at the cieling. 

Their son was peacefully sleeping in his room, not knowing what it's like to live a life of regret. She wanted to turn back time. 

Sulli would always remember her last memory of Lee Taemin. It was a blur, it was the worst it could ever be, but she still cherished it. It was her last memory of him. Might as well remember it. 

She always remembered how all 3 of them would hang out back when they were still kids. When life was normal and when there wasn't drama. She missed every single second of it. 

She turned to her right and saw Kai's back. 

Kai. 

He knew about her feelings for Taemin, and she knew about his. Yet he was still there for her. She loved him, at that time only as a friend. She learned to love him, it was hard. She eventually got there. 

"Kai..?" She called in a hushed tone, knowing he wouldn't reply. 

There was a silence. 

"I know I've already told you this a million times but, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for just leaving you suddenly. I'm sorry for walking away." 

Kai shuffled in his sleep. Sulli felt that he was listening some how so she continued to talk. 

"I know.." 

There was a silence. This time it felt like he was actually listening, the atmosphere got intense. 

"I knew that he was a Kang. I heard you screaming when i woke up in the hospital that day." 

Kai faced her. His eyes were red. Sulli immediatly whiped them away. 

"I'm sorry.. Hyung told me not to tell.. escpically you." 

Sulli sadly smiled. 

"Well it's to be expected. Men like to silently protect the women they love." 

Kai snorted. 

"It's true!" 

He wrapped his arms around Sulli. She nuzzled her head into his chest. 

She breathed in his scent. Kai, Kai and more Kai. 

"D-do you think he's dead..?" Sulli quietly asked. 

This topic was taboo around them. The two of them never wanted to even think about their precious hyung or oppa as dead. They both loved him to much. The thought of him being gone, it was banned.

"No. Even if hyung is incredibly stupid, dumb, absent minded--" 

"Yah. I get it. Taemin isn't the smartest."

Kai chuckled. 

"He's going to come back. He promised he would see me later right?" Kai said reasurring Sulli. 

Kai knew that he lightened the mood. He could feel her smile into his chest. But he knew he had to break it. Tomorrow would be a day they both wanted to forget. 

"Are we going tomorrow..?" Sulli asked. 

He frowned. 

"Of course." 

There was a silence then a small snore. Kai looked down to see Sulli asleep. He chuckled, how cute.

Sulli, Kai and their 3 year old son were walking hand in hand to the place where it all started. The ball. That is where the piece started coming, one by one. 

Kai picked up his son and placed in his arms. 

"Do you know why were here..?" Kai asked his son. 

"Ani.." He replied. 

"Puzzle!" Sulli yelled as she clapped her hands together.

The two of them faced Sulli with an confused look on their faces. 

"Puzzah?" Their son asked. 

"Aigoo! Kyeopta~" Sulli cooed as she pinched his cheeks. 

"Ani! I'm a boy! I can't be cute! Omma!" He pouted. 

Sulli flicked his forehead. 

"Yah! You will forever be cute!" 

He scoffed. 

Kai simply lauged. 

"So puzzle..?" 

"This was the first piece out of hundreds." She said pointing at the building. 

"Appa! This hugeee building is a piece of a puzzlah!" 

Kai chukled as he let him out of his arms. He immediatly ran to his mom. 

"Omma! Look at me!" He yelled as he started spinning. 

He was about to fall as was caught. 

Sulli and Kai was left speechless. 

In front of them was a face they missed so much. A face that made them cry for endless nights. The face in front of them was different. It was older. The hair was different. Instead of the beautiful brown that it had all those years ago. It looked dead. It had a tint of gray. 

There just meters before them was a person they have both being longing to meet. The two of them were lost for words. 

"T-taemin-ah.." Kai stuttered. 

Their son looked at his parents. 

"Yes..?" He asked confused. 

"Taemin!" The two of them screamed as they jumped onto him crying their hearts out. 

Taemin hugged the two figures in his arms and started to cry. "I'm back.." He in a hushed tone as he began to rub their heads. 

Kai and Sulli didn't stop crying. They missed this idiot way too long and seeing him back was just amazing. 

Once Taemin pulled away from the hug he grinned at the two of them, "I see you named you kid after me." 

Baby Taemin looked at the 3 adults and their dramatic display. He was confused and he had no idea what was happening, but he thought it was cool. The man whom he was named after finally came home.
