CHAPTER 16

 

We separated from each other immediately. I turned around to see who is it.

It’s Sooyoung!

She stood there with a mischievous grin.

“Yah! How long have you been standing there?” Sica hissed.

“Hmm from that “you kissed me during the ferris wheel ride, remember” sentence?”

My face turned red.

“YAH!! Are you watching a free show?!” I growled.

“Geez Taengoo, you should thank me to be here to stop you two. It’s not good to leave any stains on the dresses we are wearing today you know, it’s sponsored.” Sooyoung grinned.

“Yah! What stains are you talking about?!” Sica yelled.

“Stains like.. saliva of course. If not?” Sooyoung said in a teasing tone.

“YOU!!!” I huffed.

Sooyoung gulped.

“Hmm where’s my baby? Ahh here you are!!” Sooyoung grabbed her snacks. “By the way the show is starting in 15 minutes time. Don’t be naughty naughty.” She added and ran off.

“CHOI SOOYOUNG!!!”

 

During the show Sica wanted to sit beside me. But Sooyoung squeezed herself in between us. Sica gave her a glare.

“Can’t be too obvious, there are fancams around, you know.” Sooyoung smiled.

Sica pouted.

Sooyoung suddenly carressed her face.

“YAH!” I nudged Sooyoung, feeling jealous.

“Don’t be jealous, I’m creating a soosica moment in case there is a overflow of taengsic moments later. You should be thankful!” Sooyoung grinned.

“Hmph.” I sat down grumpily.

Aish why am I acting like a lovesick bird now. Someone save me!

“Taetae!” Tiffany sat beside me, showing her eyesmile.

I smiled back.

Suddenly I felt a gust of cold air. I noticed Sica glaring at me.

I gulped.

Now I’m extremely thankful that Sooyoung is here!

After the event Sunny and I went to the toilet.

“So.. are you with Jessica now?” She asked, when we are washing hands.

“Not yet..” I mumbled.

“Why not? Is it because of Tiffany?”

I bit my lips. I wish I could tell you everything, Sunny. But I can’t.

“Alright I understand. Stop giving me this pathetic look!” She nudged me. “You know I am always here when you need me.” She smiled.

I smiled.

When we were going out from the toilet, someone caught my eye.

A familiar person.

Too familiar.

Is that.. me?

I immediately ran towards that person.

“Taeyeon where are you going?” Sunny yelled from behind.

When I chased to the main entrance, I saw “me” getting into a car.

I wanted to continue chasing, but someone pulled me back.

It’s LT!

“LT?!” I exclaimed.

“Shh.” LT put a finger on his lips. “I will contact you later. Your group mate is chasing you.”

I turned around and saw Sunny running towards me.

“I hope I will get a good explanation.” I whispered to him, and walked back towards Sunny.

LT looked down, like he has a guilty conscience.

…

“Yah! Who are you chasing?” Sunny chided.

“I thought I saw a ice cream vendor.” I lied.

“What? This is an office building, how can a ice cream vendor come in?”

“Hehe, I guess my craving got the better of me.”

“You..” Sunny wanted to continue, but I cut her off.

“The other girls are waiting for us! Let’s go back.” I grabbed her hand and walked back to waiting room.

…

I kept fidgeting with my phone on the way back to the dorm.

“Waiting for a call?” Tiffany asked.

“No, I just like spinning things.” I smiled.

“She has been acting weird the whole day! Just now she claimed that she saw an ice cream vendor in the building! I bet what she saw was a cleaner pushing the trolley with cleaning equipment!” Sunny ranted, while playing her Nintendo DS.

Tiffany let out a loud laugh.

“Taetae you are so cute!” She pinched my cheeks.

My face turned red out of embarrassment.

Sunny shot me a victory smirk.

I pouted.

“Alright girls we have reached the dorm. Taeyeon, Tiffany I will come to pick you two up tomorrow at 10am.” Manager oppa announced.

“What’s the schedule tomorrow?” I asked.

“You forgot? The pea plush CF.” Tiffany answered.

Ahhh. I forgot there’s a part 2.

When we reached the door there is someone there waiting.

Nickhun.

Not again?!

I looked at Tiffany. She has a poker face on.

Sunny nudged me hinting me to get into the dorm fast.

I nodded.

We bowed to Nickhun and went into the dorm, leaving Tiffany and him alone.

…

I lied on my bed, waiting for LT to call.

But I only receive a message; he says that he has something urgent and will contact me soon.

I wonder what’s happening now. Why is Taeyeon back in Korea? Why does LT look so flustered? Is there something wrong? Aish my head hurts.

Suddenly my phone vibrated. Incoming call from Jessica.

“Taengoo! Can I visit you tomorrow?”

Hmm? Visit my CF shoot?

“Haha it’s just a CF shoot, why do you want to come? It’s your off day tomorrow, you should rest.”

“But I want to see you…” She whined.

I chuckled.

“You sure you want to see me, not supervise me?”

“Yah!!!”

“It’s just a CF, what are you worried about?”

“Well there’s Tiffany…” She mumbled.

Tiffany? Lol this girl…

“So you want to come and be a lightbulb?” I joked.

“What?! So I’m the lightbulb huh?!” Sica growled.

I laughed.

“I’m just joking Sica ah, you have worked hard these days, just rest well tomorrow.”  

“Sica are you done?” I heard Yuri’s voice.

“You are with Yuri?” I asked.

“Yes we are having candlelight lunch.”

Having a good time with Yuri huh? Hmph.

“Really? That sounds so great. Maybe you should visit Yuri tomorrow instead.” I grumbled.

Sica chuckled.

“Not happy huh Taengoo?”

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No!”

“No!”

“Yes!”

“Haha you finally admitted!” Sica said, excitedly.

Oops I fell into her trap!

“I’m not alone with Yuri. Yoona and Seohyun are here too.” Sica explained.

“Really?” I questioned.

“Do you want me to ask them to talk?”

“No need!”

They will laugh at me! Especially Yoona!

“Taengoo.”

“What.”

“Ti Amo.”

Eh???

“Yah, you really like to use a lot of foreign language that I don’t understand!” I complained.

Sica chuckled.

“Go figure out yourself.”

Pfttttttttttt.

“Are you acting cute?” Sica suddenly said.

“What acting cute? I’m natural cute!” I argued.

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No.”

“Yes!”

And the argument goes on…
