Chapter 9

 

 

Ryeowook jumps happily on the soft bed

 

“Wow! I’ve never seen a bed like this. Why is it so soft?”

 

Ryeowook stops jumping and lay down on the soft bed and starts rolling like a kid

 

“I bet I’m going to have a peaceful sleep tonight because this bed is really soft compare to my bed at home”

 

Ryeowook stops rolling and hugs a soft pillow happily

 

“Jongwoon Oppa is really rich. I can’t believe that my room here is so big. This room is really spacious and very beautiful and everything in this room is really expensive. What I like about this room is there is a balcony. I can always watch the beach at night from the balcony while feeling the cold wind”

 

Ryeowook giggles happily

 

“The Kim’s rest house is really big. It’s actually a mansion and not a rest house. All their furnitures here are really expensive and they have a lot of maid. I even got one on my own and it’s Jongwoon Oppa’s nanny. I still don’t understand why he let his own nanny be my nanny while we stay here in Jamaica. He’s really weird sometimes”

 

Ryeowook jumps off of the bed and walks towards the sliding door going to the balcony. She smiles brightly as she can see her reflection through the glass

 

“He even bought me a summer dress. I really don’t know how to thank him. He actually doesn’t need to buy me some expensive clothes and shoes like this. He doesn’t need to spend a lot of money for me”

 

Ryeowook whispers while checking her white floral printed summer dress and the silver sandals with diamond and Swarovski embellishment that she’s wearing. Ryeowook was busy checking herself through the sliding door when she heard a soft click. Ryeowook turns around and found Jongwoon standing at the doorway while staring at her blankly

 

“Hi Oppa. I was just checking myself through the sliding door”

 

Ryeowook told Jongwoon while smiling brightly making him blush. Jongwoon’s heart starts jumping when Ryeowook walks towards him, still smiling so brightly

 

“What are you doing here Oppa?”

 

Ryeowook asks Jongwoon curiously

 

“Me?”

 

Ryeowook nods. Jongwoon scratches his head as he feels confused on what is Ryeowook doing inside his room

 

“Ah Wookie…can I just ask something first before I answer your question?”

 

Ryeowook nods at Jongwoon

 

“Who accompany you here?”

 

“Ah…”

 

Ryeowook smiles

 

“Oppa, your nanny was the one who accompany me here. She told me that this will be my room”

 

Ryeowook explains to Jongwoon who just stares at her

 

“Aigoo! Nanny thought that Wookie and I are going to sleep together since I told her about Wookie. Maybe nanny thought that Wookie is already my girlfriend. What to do? Wookie might think that I’m taking advantage to her. But I really don’t have any idea that nanny will tell Wookie to sleep here in my room”

 

Jongwoon thought while staring at Ryeowook shyly

 

“So, can you already answer my question? What are you doing here Oppa?”

 

Jongwoon coughs before talking

 

“Well…actually, this is my room”

 

Ryeowook’s eyes widened as she starts to blush feeling so embarrassed at Jongwoon for asking such question

 

“Oh my goodness! I’m so sorry Oppa. I’m sorry for asking too harshly. I didn’t know that this is actually your room. Your nanny didn’t tell me. But don’t worry Jongwoon Oppa. I’m just going to leave and sleep in other room”

 

Jongwoon holds Ryeowook’s arm before she can walks away

 

“No Wookie. It’s ok. You can stay here in my room. I’m the one who is going to leave and sleep in the guest’s room”

 

“But Oppa, that’s unfair because this is your room. I don’t want to be cruel to you”

 

Jongwoon suddenly laughs upon hearing the word ‘cruel’

 

“Why are you laughing? I’m serious”

 

Jongwoon holds his tummy and throws his self on his soft bed as he starts laughing so hard

 

“Oppa!”

 

Ryeowook frowns and sits on the bed while staring at Jongwoon who starts rolling on the bed while laughing hard

 

“You know Oppa? You’re so weird sometimes. I really can’t understand you”

 

Jongwoon stops laughing and wipes the tears at the corner of his eyes. He takes a deep breath and crawls towards Ryeowook. Ryeowook was shock when Jongwoon rest his head on her lap

 

“Why are you blushing?”

 

Jongwoon asks Ryeowook while staring at her red cheeks

 

“Because you’re laughing at me”

 

Ryeowook lied

 

“I’m sorry about that. It’s just that I find it so funny when you told me that you’re being cruel to me if I sleep at the guest’s room and not here in my room”

 

“I’m just telling you the truth. You see. I’m your guest here and I’m the one who supposed to be sleeping at the guest’s room and not the owner. I don’t have the right to sleep here in your room because this is yours”

 

Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook making her blush even more

 

“Of course you have the right to sleep here in my room because you’re the girl that I love”

 

Ryeowook’s heart starts jumping and beating so fast because of happiness. Hearing the fact that Jongwoon loves her makes her feel so happy

 

 “So, you can stay here and I’ll stay at the guest’s room”

 

Jongwoon smiles and gets up. Ryeowook holds Jongwoon’s hand to stop him from walking away

 

“Oppa, why don’t we just sleep together here in your room?”

 

Ryeowook asks Jongwoon shyly. Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook with a surprise look on his face

 

“Well, you know…ah…you’re not going to do anything bad to me, right? It’s not like you’re going to me, right? I mean, since this is your room and I want you to stay here while you want me to stay here as well then let’s just sleep together. Is that ok with you?”

 

“Are you sure about that Wookie? I mean, I don’t want you to think that I’m taking advantage to you. I’m not that kind of man and I respect you that much. It’s just that…that…I’ll be fine at the guest’s room”

 

“It’s ok Oppa. We can just stay here inside your room together or else we’re just going to end up fighting about who will stay here and who will leave. I know that you will keep on insisting that I should stay here, but of course my conscience will bother me and I’m not be able to sleep properly later. Of course, I will also keep on insisting that you should stay here because this is your room. So, to make it easier, let’s just stay here together”

 

Jongwoon just nods at Ryeowook as he can feel his cheek getting hot because he starts blushing, knowing the fact that he will be staying with Ryeowook in one room

 

“Ah…I think I need to go our first and catch some air. See you later”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook as he starts blushing hard. He turns his back away and immediately leaves his room with a smile on his face. Ryeowook stares at the door

 

“What is wrong with him? He’s really weird sometimes”

 

Ryeowook whispers and holds her cheek

 

“Aigoo! We’re going to sleep together later and we’re going to stay in one room all throughout the vacation”

 

Ryeowook slaps her cheek

 

“What the ing hell did you just do Kim Ryeowook?”

 

Ryeowook sighs

 

“But of course I know that Jongwoon Oppa will never take advantage on me. He’s such a nice, protective and sweet man and I know that he respects me so much”

 

Ryeowook told herself while smiling. Ryeowook lay down on the soft bed and slowly closed her eyes to take a rest

 

 

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae walk towards Jongwoon who is sitting on the sand alone while reading a thick book about some strategies for CEO in order to win a great deal in business partnership

 

“Mr. Kim…”

 

Jongwoon raised his head and looks at Donghae and Eunhyuk who is happily carrying Bada and Choco on their arms. Jongwoon coughs

 

“How many times do I need to tell you guys to call me Hyung and not Mr. Kim? Come on guys. All of you who are in Mouse Rabbit are already my family now. No need to be formal. I’m really going to hate you if ever you call me Mr. Kim again”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae nod and sit on the sand, joining Jongwoon

 

“Are you busy Hyung?”

 

Eunhyuk asks Jongwoon while staring at the thick book that Jongwoon was reading. Jongwoon shook his head

 

“Then why don’t you join Siwon Hyung, Manager Mimi, Henry and your family’s butler in playing the beach volleyball?”

 

Donghae asks curiously while Bada’s hair gently

 

“I don’t enjoy playing that kind of game”

 

“Just give it a try. It will be fun”

 

Jongwoon just smiles and closed the book. He stares at Eunhyuk and grabs Choco away from him

 

“Do you think Wookie will love it if ever I bought her a dog like Choco and Bada?”

 

Jongwoon asks the couple who shook their head

 

“Why not?”

 

“Wookie is afraid of dogs”

 

Donghae answers Jongwoon

 

“Then what do I need to buy for her?”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae shook their head again

 

“Just give her all your love and its fine with her. Wookie is a simple girl. Material things are not important to her. She’ll be happy even if you give her just a simple flower. As long as it came from your heart then she’ll accept it happily. She’s such a nice girl Hyung”

 

Eunhyuk told Jongwoon. Donghae nods in agreement

 

“Having you is enough for her and that’s the truth Hyung”

 

Donghae added making Jongwoon smile

 

“By the way Hyung, my honey Hae and I heard that you and Wookie are staying in your room”

 

Jongwoon suddenly blush making the couple smile

 

“Don’t be shy Hyung. It’s ok. We’re in a modern generation now”

 

“I know, but…I’m just shy because Wookie might think that I’m taking advantage of her”

 

“Eh? Why are you so conservative Hyung?”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“I’m not being a conservative here. I just respect Wookie that much”

 

“That’s still the same. Have you kissed Wookie last time that you have a date with her?”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“WHY NOT?”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae shout in unison

 

“I’m too shy to do it”

 

“Aish! You’re so slow Hyung”

 

“Slow?”

 

The couple nods at him

 

“Other men already kissed their date during the first date”

 

“While others already have during the first date, what is wrong with you Hyung? You didn’t even touch Wookie?”

 

“We hold each other’s hand and I give her a piggy back ride because she’s already tired of walking and her feet already ache because of wearing heels”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae suddenly laugh, making Jongwoon frown

 

“YAH! Will you please stop laughing at me? So what if that’s the only thing we did? Call me traditional or conservative, but I’m not the kind of man who will kiss a girl’s lips and her without her permission or ask her for ”

 

Jongwoon told the couple while staring at them seriously. Eunhyuk and Donghae stop laughing and gulp nervously while staring at Jongwoon’s serious glare

 

“Sorry Hyung”

 

“We didn’t mean to piss you off. It’s just that…you’re really conservative…that’s all”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae explain. Jongwoon takes a deep breath, calming his self

 

“I suddenly hate myself because I don’t know how to court and date a woman”

 

Eunhyuk pats Jongwoon’s shoulder

 

“Don’t worry Hyung. It’s fine. Every guy has his own strategy in courting and dating a girl. I’m sure that Wookie appreciate your simple way of courting and dating her”

 

Eunhyuk told Jongwoon while flashing his gummy smile

 

“Let’s just join them in playing the beach volleyball. It will be fine Hyung”

 

Eunhyuk told Jongwoon. He stands up and happily runs towards the people who are playing the beach volleyball, leaving Donghae and Jongwoon with Bada and Choco

 

“Hyung…”

 

Jongwoon looks at Donghae

 

“Can I ask your help?”

 

“Of course, what is it?”

 

Donghae coughs, clearing his throat. He gets something inside his pocket and shows a simple ring to Jongwoon

 

“You think my honey Hyukkie will like it?”

 

Jongwoon stares at the silver ring that Donghae was holding

 

“OMO!”

 

Jongwoon’s eyes widened

 

“Are you going to propose for marriage?”

 

Jongwoon asks Donghae excitedly. Donghae looks at him and nods shyly. Donghae was shock when Jongwoon hugs him like a brother hugging his dongsaeng

 

“Oh my goodness Hae. I bet Hyukkie will be very happy. When do you plan to get married?”

 

“Tomorrow, if he will accept my proposal”

 

“Of course he will”

 

Jongwoon smiles at Donghae

 

“But I’m nervous Hyung”

 

“Nervous?”

 

Donghae nods

 

“I don’t know what to say to him”

 

Jongwoon flicks Donghae’s forehead

 

“Pabo! Just say what is in your heart. Tell him your true feelings for him. He needs to know how much you love him and that’s the greatest words that you can say to your honey Hyukkie. No need to use sweet words to impress him, just be true and tell him how much he means to you and how much you love and treasure him”

 

“Thanks Hyung. I feel relax somehow”

 

“Don’t worry Hae. We’re all here to support you and Hyukkie and we can all plan your wedding tomorrow. Everyone will be happy for you and Hyukkie”

 

Donghae smiles brightly. Jongwoon flashes a bright smile and ruffles Donghae’s hair

 

“Come. Let’s join them in playing the beach volleyball”

 

Jongwoon told Donghae and stands up. He smiles at Donghae and starts walking towards the people who are playing the beach volleyball while carrying Choco on his arms. Donghae looks at Bada while the dog’s hair

 

“You know Bada? Jongwoon Hyung is just snobbish and grumpy, but he’s so nice and can be sweet in his own simple way. He’s like a brother to me. Wookie is really lucky to find a man like Hyung. I’m sure that he will love Wookie with all his heart and soul”

 

Donghae told his dog that just wiggles his tail. He stands up and smiles brightly

 

“Come Bada. Let’s join the others in playing the beach volleyball”

 

Donghae told his dog happily while the dog’s hair gently. Donghae starts walking towards the people who are happily playing the beach volleyball while holding his dog on his arms

 

 

 

“Sunny! I won’t wear that kind of swimsuit. It’s so y ok”

 

Ryeowook told Sunny and throws the swimsuit on Sunny’s bed

 

“I told you to bring some swimwear for me. I didn’t ask you to bring y swimsuit like that”

 

“What’s the matter Wookie?”

 

Sunny grabs the blue bikini swimsuit that Ryeowook throws on the bed

 

“Wookie, it will look good on you and beside that’s the only swimwear that I’ve got. I don’t wear a very conservative swimwear”

 

Sunny told Ryeowook who looks at her. She was wearing a yellow bikini swimsuit

 

“Come on Wookie. Just wear it. I’m telling you, it will be great on you”

 

“I’m shy”

 

Sunny shook her head

 

“Don’t be shy. You’ve got a very nice skin and y body. You need to unleash it and show the world what you’ve got. Make Jongwoon Oppa drool over you”

 

“SUNNY!!!”

 

Ryeowook shouts shyly. Sunny laughs softly while staring at her friend who is blushing hard

 

“Stop turning into tomato and just wear it ok”

 

Sunny grabs the blue bikini swimsuit on the bed and drags Ryeowook inside the bathroom to convince her to wear the bikini swimsuit that she brings for her

 

 

 

 

Jongwoon was happily playing beach volleyball with the others while Mrs. Lau was sitting happily on a beach lounge chair under the big white umbrella. She was cheering happily for everyone, enjoying watching the game. Sunny drags Ryeowook who still feeling so shy while wearing the blue bikini swimsuit that Sunny gives her. Sunny run towards Mrs. Lau, dragging Ryeowook happily. Mrs. Lau smiles brightly while staring at Sunny and Ryeowook

 

“Wow! My baby girls are so y and beautiful”

 

Mrs. Lau stands up and gives them a sweet hug. She notices Ryeowook’s shy expression

 

“What’s wrong Wookie?”

 

“Ahjumma, I’m shy”

 

“Shy?”

 

Ryeowook nods

 

“I’m not use in wearing clothes like this. Sunny force me to wear it”

 

“You told me to bring some swimwear for you and that’s the only swimwear that I’ve got. I told you not to be shy because it looks so good on you, right Ahjumma?”

 

Mrs. Lau nods happily while staring at Ryeowook

 

“You’ve got a very nice skin sweetheart. Your legs are long and y. You’re really y”

 

“I told you Wookie. You need to show the world what you’ve got. Don’t worry because it really looks good on you. I swear”

 

Sunny and Mrs. Lau smile at Ryeowook who starts blushing

 

“But I’m not used on exposing my skin”

 

“You’ll get used to it. Let’s go Wookie. Let’s go near them”

 

Sunny told Ryeowook while pointing her finger towards the people who are playing the beach volleyball happily

 

“Let’s cheer for them. I’ll cheer for my mochie and you cheer for Jongwoon Oppa. I’m sure that his energy will be super high if he heard your sweet voice cheering for him”

 

Sunny told Ryeowook happily. She holds Ryeowook’s hand and immediately drags her near the people who are playing the beach volleyball

 

“GO MY MOCHIE!!!”

 

Sunny shouts happily, cheering her boyfriend. Henry smiles upon hearing her voice. He looks at Sunny and gives her thumbs up before focusing his attention back on the game. Sunny elbows Ryeowook

 

“Hey, don’t just stand there Wookie. Cheer for your Jongwoon Oppa. He’ll be happy to hear your voice. Come on. Don’t be shy. Jongwoon Oppa needs your cheer”

 

Sunny told Ryeowook while staring at her boyfriend, watching him happily

 

“Go Wookie. Cheer Oppa now”

 

Sunny smiles when Henry hits the ball. She claps her hands happily when Zhoumi fails to return the ball

 

“Wookie, it’s Oppa’s turn now to serve”

 

Ryeowook watches Jongwoon hits the ball so hard. She smiles brightly

 

“THAT WAS A NICE SERVE JONGWOON OPPA! FIGHTING!”

 

Ryeowook shouts happily to cheer Jongwoon. Jongwoon heard Ryeowook’s sweet voice and looks at her. His attention has been capture by Wookie’s y body. Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook’s perfect figure, milky skin and y long legs that he didn’t notice Siwon hitting the ball so hard towards his direction

 

“JONGWOON! WATCH OUT!!!”

 

Zhoumi shouts, but unfortunately the ball hits Jongwoon’s head so hard causing him to fall on the sand

 

“Aigoo!”

 

Ryeowook immediately runs towards Jongwoon who is lying on the sand while holding his head. Sunny follows her

 

“Oppa!”

 

Ryeowook kneels on the sand. Jongwoon slowly opens his eyes and saw Ryeowook staring at him with worried face. He immediately sat down

 

“I’m…”

 

Jongwoon stops talking when he feels something hot coming out from his nose. Ryeowook and the others were shock to see Jongwoon’s nose bleeding

 

“Aigoo! Oppa, are you ok? Is something hurt?”

 

Ryeowook asks Jongwoon nervously while wiping the blood that came out from Jongwoon’s nose. Jongwoon just nods while blushing

 

“I’m ok”

 

Jongwoon told them. They all sigh in relief

 

“Let’s continue playing, but Jongwoon is out for the meantime as he takes a rest”

 

Siwon told them. Eunhyuk and Donghae help Jongwoon stand. Jongwoon’s heart starts beating fast because of happiness when Ryeowook holds his hand, dragging him towards Mrs. Lau

 

“Are you ok?”

 

Mrs. Lau asks Jongwoon worriedly

 

“I’m fine Ahjumma. Don’t worry about me”

 

Jongwoon flashes a bright smile to take Mrs. Lau’s worry away

 

“I’ll leave you guys for awhile. I’ll just join Sunny on cheering for them”

 

Mrs. Lau told them. She winks at Ryeowook who suddenly blush. Mrs. Lau smiles brightly and waves her hand as she run towards Sunny who is cheering for Henry happily. Jongwoon sits on the beach lounger chair. His nanny runs towards them, bringing an ice bag for Jongwoon

 

“Thanks nanny”

 

Jongwoon told his nanny who bows at him before walking away. Ryeowook grabs the ice bag away from Jongwoon’s grip and sits beside him, making Jongwoon blush. Ryeowook gently pressed the ice bag on Jongwoon’s head

 

“Feeling better now?”

 

Ryeowook asks Jongwoon worriedly while staring at his gorgeous face

 

“I’m fine. You don’t need to worry about me”

 

Jongwoon smiles brightly. Ryeowook’s heart starts beating fast when Jongwoon moves closer to her. Jongwoon leans his face forward and was about to kiss Ryeowook’s lips when someone shouts

 

“JONGWOON-AH! WATCH OU—“

 

Siwon didn’t have the chance to finish talking when the ball hits Jongwoon’s head. Ryeowook stares at Jongwoon who is frowning really hard

 

“Aish!”

 

Jongwoon stands up and picks the ball on the sand

 

“YAH! SIWON-AH, WILL YOU PLEASE STOP HITTING ME WITH THIS ING BALL? AISH! YOU’RE DISTURBING ME! !”

 

Jongwoon shouts angrily. He hits the ball towards Siwon who is laughing hard while giving him a peace sign before running towards the volleyball court

 

“That boy is really…aish!”

 

Jongwoon frowns while rubbing his head

 

“Are you hurt?”

 

Jongwoon turns around and looks at Ryeowook

 

“A bit…but I’m fine”

 

Jongwoon flashes a shy smile

 

“Ah…sorry about that”

 

“About?”

 

“For trying to…to…kiss you”

 

Jongwoon told her shyly. Ryeowook just nods at him while blushing. There was a moment of silence between them as they stare at each other shyly

 

“Ah…Wookie…”

 

Jongwoon breaks the silence between them

 

“Yes?”

 

“Do you want to walk around?”

 

Ryeowook smiles at Jongwoon and nods her head. She stands up and was waiting for Jongwoon to hold her hand, but he didn’t do it because he’s shy

 

“Let’s go?”

 

“Ok”

 

Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook

 

“Wookie…”

 

“Hmmmm?”

 

Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook’s hand. He wants to grab it and holds it tight

 

“Yes Jongwoon Oppa?”

 

“Ah…”

 

Jongwoon sighs

 

“Nothing. Let’s go now”

 

Jongwoon smiles and starts walking

 

“Just tell me that you want to hold my hand. No need to be shy”

 

Ryeowook whispers. She sighs and run towards Jongwoon as they walk at the shore, feeling the soft wind that blows slowly

 

“The last time that I’ve been here is during my 3^rd birthday party. It’s been a long time and I miss this place. I remember that I used to run at the shore with Appa and we usually play around. He’s the one who taught me to swim. I got drown because of being naughty and Umma can’t stop crying because she’s so worried about me. She thought that I’m going to die at that moment”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook while smiling weakly. Ryeowook notice the sadness on Jongwoon’s face and the tears that are forming in his eyes

 

“That’s the time wherein I can say that Umma and Appa really love me, but I don’t know why that love needs to change”

 

Ryeowook just stares at Jongwoon blankly

 

“I was only five when I saw Appa on bed with other woman. I don’t understand anything at that time. I was also five years old when I saw Umma kissing another man and I don’t understand anything at all. I was seven years old when they divorce. They promise that they will celebrate my seventh birthday with me because that’s what I want. I wait for them, but they didn’t arrive in my party. I wait for them at home while crying. They arrive shouting at each other and told me that they are getting divorce. I don’t understand the reason why. They didn’t even explain. I beg for Umma not to leave, but she still insists. I saw her going inside the car with the man that she was kissing before. From then on, I start thinking that my parents don’t love me at all because if they do, they will think about me before they decide to end their marriage like that. I suddenly wish that I just die during the time that I drown myself here”

 

Jongwoon wipes the tears that fall from his eyes

 

“I’m sorry. Why am I talking about it? This is our vacation together and I’m supposed to make you happy and enjoy and not to make you worry about me”

 

“It’s ok Oppa. You can always cry if you want. You don’t need to hide your sadness”

 

Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook

 

“Wookie…”

 

“Yes Oppa?”

 

“Can I…hold your hand?”

 

Jongwoon asks Ryeowook shyly. Ryeowook smiles at him

 

“That’s the thing that I’m waiting awhile ago”

 

Ryeowook laughs softly when Jongwoon stares at her blankly. He didn’t understand what exactly Ryeowook is talking about. Jongwoon blush when Ryeowook pinches his nose gently

 

“You look so cute when you’re innocent”

 

Ryeowook told Jongwoon happily. Jongwoon just smiles at her and holds her hand as they continue walking on the shore

 

“Don’t worry Wookie. I’m always happy whenever you’re here by my side. To tell you the truth, you’re the reason why I can smile and laugh. My life is always complete whenever you’re here with me. I don’t need everything. I only need you for me to be happy, to smile, to laugh, to enjoy and continue living my wasteful life”

 

Ryeowook shook her head

 

“Don’t say that Oppa. You’re not living a wasted life. You should be thankful that you have your parents with you even though they are already separated and even though it seems that they don’t give you so much attention. Please don’t ever think that your parents don’t love you. That’s not true”

 

“It’s easy for you to say that because you’re not me”

 

Ryeowook nods her head and looks at Jongwoon sadly

 

“I know Oppa. I will never understand your pain, hardship and suffering as Kim Jongwoon. But I know how painful it is to grow without parents. You see. Compare to me, you’re lucky because you still have your mom and dad even though they are far away from each other. At least you have someone whom you can call Umma and Appa and you have what they call a family”

 

Ryeowook manage to smile while controlling her tears from falling

 

“I never saw my real parents. The parents that I’ve known are not my real parents. My parents give me away when I’m still an innocent baby. Umma and Appa told me that they just saw me sleeping peacefully outside the door and they don’t know who left me there. I’m also young when they passed ahead and my mom’s sister was the one who take care of me and love me. Ryeowook walks on the water, dragging Jongwoon. She walks as far as she can while Jongwoon holds her hand tight, never letting it go

“You know Oppa? There was a scene in a movie wherein the girl asks the boy how far he can go in loving her. The boy answers the question by holding his girl’s hand tight and walking on the water. He walks far away from the shore. He walks with the girl he loves as far as he can and not to mention that the boy doesn’t even know how to swim and he’s afraid of the water”

 

“So?”

 

Ryeowook looks at Jongwoon’s eyes

 

“You know what the boy told his girlfriend?”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“He told his girlfriend that he doesn’t know how to swim and he’s actually afraid of the beach. So, the girlfriend ask his boyfriend on how he manage to walk far away with her if he’s actually afraid of the water and he doesn’t even know how to swim. The boyfriend smile and kissed his girlfriend’s lips and told her that he can go as far as he can as long as his girlfriend is always there for him. He can make impossible things into possible in order to love his girlfriend”

 

Ryeowook smiles at Jongwoon and raised her hand that is intertwine with Jongwoon’s hand

 

“Just like the boyfriend, I can go as far as I can as long as you’re here with me Oppa. You see. If you die way back when you’re three years old then you wouldn’t meet the people who will become important to your life and I wouldn’t meet you; the man who always gives me inspiration to continue living a life that is full of fear and worries. Oppa, your life has a meaning. I hope you’ll erase the hatred that you’re feeling right now for your parents because they are still your parents no matter what happen. You’re here because of them and you should be thankful for that even though they are cruel towards you. Maybe they have their own reason why they end their marriage, but I’m sure that whatever their reason is, they did that because they love you so much”

 

Ryeowook holds Jongwoon’s face between her hands

 

“Oppa, I know that your life is full of sadness and pain, but please, be strong for me because if you won’t then I don’t know how I am going to live my life. You see. I get some strength from you. Ryeowook nods her head happily and starts running on the water happily. Jongwoon smiles and starts running to chase Ryeowook. Jongwoon catch Ryeowook at the shore. He wraps an arm around Ryeowook’s waist and spins her around happily. Ryeowook laughs happily as she end up laying on the shore with Jongwoon on top of her. Jongwoon brushes the hair on Ryeowook’s face away. He stares at her eyes full of love as Ryeowook wraps her arms around his neck

 

“So, will you be my girlfriend?”

 

Ryeowook smiles brightly. She ran her fingers gently on Jongwoon’s gorgeous face

 

“I love you Jongwoon Oppa”

 

“I’ll take that as yes?”

 

Ryeowook nods her head. Jongwoon smiles brightly. He feels so happy because Ryeowook finally becomes his girlfriend and knowing that she loves him too makes his heart jumps because of joy

 

“I love you Wookie and I’m happy because it’s you”

 

Jongwoon brushes his nose from hers. Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook’s lips

Jongwoon bites his lips. Ryeowook was staring at Jongwoon, waiting for him to kiss her

Jongwoon nods and stands up. He holds Ryeowook’s hand and helps her to stand

Jongwoon told Ryeowook while smiling brightly. He takes off his shirt and run away. Ryeowook watches him as he dives on the water like a little kid

Jongwoon shouts at Ryeowook while waving his hand happily

 

“He’s such a weird boy and very shy. Seriously, I’m his girlfriend now, but he’s still afraid and shy to kiss me”

Ryeowook smiles and run towards Jongwoon, joining him on the water as they start playing like little kids

 

 

 

 

Ryeowook was standing at the balcony while watching the beach happily. She was enjoying the sound of the cold wind that gently blows. She suddenly smiles upon seeing her friends with Siwon, Zhoumi and Mrs. Lau preparing their dinner at the beach. The Kim’s butler, Jongwoon’s nanny and the helpers are all helping them prepare everything for their picnic at the beach

 

“What are you doing here baby?”

 

Ryeowook turns around and found her boyfriend standing at the doorway of the balcony while smiling brightly at her

 

“Just watching the beach, I love the beach at night. It’s so peaceful and calming and I’m also watching them preparing our dinner or should I say picnic at the beach”

 

“Them?”

 

Ryeowook nods happily. Jongwoon walks towards Ryeowook and saw her friends with Siwon, Zhoumi and Mrs. Lau happily preparing their dinner at the beach with the help of their butler, helpers and his nanny

 

“Let’s join them”

 

Jongwoon holds Ryeowook’s hand before she can go out of the balcony

 

“Let’s just stay here for the meantime. I want to be alone with you, can I?”

Ryeowook answers him happily. Jongwoon moves closer to Ryeowook and hugs her from behind. Ryeowook feels so happy while feeling Jongwoon’s warm and protective arms around her waist. Jongwoon rest his chin on Ryeowook’s shoulder, pressing his cheek on hers and holds her hands tight

“For loving me. I feel so happy knowing that you love me and I really can’t believe that someone like you loves me too”

 

“I’m the one who supposed to tell you that”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“You see. You love me in spite of my weaknesses. You love me and you never fail to understand me in spite of me being snobbish, serious in life and grumpy. I told you people hate me because of my attitude, but you accept everything and love me the way I am”

 

“You know Oppa?”

 

Ryeowook turns around to face Jongwoon. She gently brushes her finger on Jongwoon’s nose

 

“You may be a snobbish, grumpy and very serious person in the whole world. But loving you is not hard. You’re such a sweet, protective, caring and very loving person. People fail to see the beauty in you because you always frown that’s why I told you to smile always, so they won’t be scared of you”

 

Jongwoon smiles at her

 

“That’s right Oppa. You need to smile like that all the time. You’re such a gorgeous man, so don’t hide it with your frown. Smile always and show the world what you’ve got. It always feels so great to see you smiling”

 

Jongwoon brushes his nose from hers

 

“I can always smile like this because you’re here beside me. I am happy because of you”

 

Jongwoon cups Ryeowook’s beautiful face

 

“Come Wookie. Let’s join them now. Hae will be having a very important announcement later”

 

Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook’s questioning look

 

“He will propose for marriage to Hyukkie later”

Jongwoon nods happily

 

“If Hyukkie agree then we shall plan for their wedding here at the resort tomorrow”

 

“That was so sweet and romantic”

 

Ryeowook claps her hands happily

 

“How about us?”

 

Ryeowook stares at her boyfriend blankly

 

“Us? What about us?”

 

“When do you plan to marry me?”

 

Ryeowook blush at Jongwoon’s sudden question

 

“You’re not even proposing to me. Why are you so weird? Let’s just go down and join them in dinner. I think you’re just hungry Oppa that’s why you’re thinking weird things again”

 

“When did marriage talk become weird? Is marrying you such a weird topic to you? You’re the one who’s being so weird here and not me”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook while laughing softly to girlfriend who just pouts at him

 

“See you at the beach”

 

Ryeowook told Jongwoon while pouting and blushing hard at the same time. She turns her back away and leaves the room quietly

 

“What’s up with her? I’m just asking her about our plan for our marriage. Why is she so moody?”

 

Jongwoon scratches his head

 

“I’m serious baby. I’ll marry you someday. I’m going to propose to you soon”

 

Jongwoon giggles happily like a kid and went out of the room to follow Ryeowook at the beach and join the others for their picnic

 

 

 

 

Eunhyuk stares at his boyfriend blankly as Donghae suddenly stands up. He was holding a fork to use as his microphone

 

“Excuse me everyone”

 

Donghae speaks calmly. They all stare at him. Ryeowook and Jongwoon look at each other and flash a bright smile as they already have an idea what Donghae will do

 

“Well…”

 

Donghae’s heart starts beating fast because he suddenly feels nervous and shy. He looks at Jongwoon who gives him thumbs up. Donghae nods. He takes a deep breath to calm his self

 

“Well…”

 

Donghae smiles at them

 

“I’m standing here in front of you guys because I have a very important announcement”

 

They all stare at Donghae; including Eunhyuk who doesn’t have any idea what is his boyfriend talking about

 

“You see…I love someone else and you all know who he is. I know that the public won’t accept our love because we’re both men. But I don’t care about that because I love my honey Hyukkie so much. My life is complete because of him and I’m happy because I have him in my life”

 

Donghae looks at Eunhyuk whose tears are forming in his eyes as he stares to Donghae full of love

 

“Can you please join me here my honey Hyukkie?”

 

Eunhyuk stands up and walks towards his boyfriend. Donghae gets something inside his pocket. Eunhyuk was shock when Donghae suddenly kneels in front of him. Everyone giggles happily upon seeing the ring that Donghae was holding in front of Eunhyuk

 

“My honey Hyukkie, I love you so much. Having you in my life is enough for me to go on. I want us to stay together forever. I want to love you until my last breath. I want to grow old with you and to be with you through sadness, joy, pain and happiness. Will you marry me?”

 

Eunhyuk starts crying

 

“Aigoo! Why are you crying? Did I say something wrong my honey Hyukkie?”

 

Eunhyuk shook his head and wipes his tears

 

“Pabo! I’m just happy. Of course my honey Hae, I’m going to marry you. I love you so much”

 

Eunhyuk reaches his hand out. Donghae holds it and kissed it before putting the ring on his finger. Donghae stands up and kissed Eunhyuk’s lips

 

“GO GET YOURSELF A ROOM!!!”

 

They shout at the couple who laughs softly

 

“Ok, it’s time to plan for the wedding tomorrow”

 

Donghae told them happily. Eunhyuk and the others stare at him

 

“TOMORROW?”

 

They shout in unison while staring at Donghae with wide eyes open

 

“Yes guys. You heard it right. The wedding will be tomorrow”

 

“But my honey Hae, how are we going to do that? We don’t have much time left”

 

Siwon suddenly claps his hands

 

“Don’t worry lovers. I’ll be in charge on the formal suit that you guys will wear tomorrow. I have a friend who is living here. She’s a fashion designer. We can go to her boutique tomorrow morning to choose for a good formal wear for both of you”

 

Siwon told them happily

The couple shouts happily

Siwon smiles brightly. Zhoumi raised his hand

Mrs. Lau smiles at the couple

Eunhyuk and Donghae clap happily. Siwon raised his hand

“Why not make Jongwoon-ah a Principal Sponsor as well since he’s damn rich. He will provide everything for the wedding”

“Come on my dear cousin. Don’t be a kill joy and beside you will enjoy there because Wookie will be with you. Just give it a try and let Wookie experience going in places like that”

They all stare at Jongwoon with puppy eyes. He looks at Ryeowook

“It’s up to you. I’ll go if you’ll be there. But if you really don’t want then we can just stay here”

 

Jongwoon nods and stare at his cousin

Siwon told Jongwoon and smiles at him

Mrs. Lau claps her hands

 

“Let’s finish our dinner now, so you guys can already prepare for your party at the bar. Just be safe and avoid engaging in a fight and go home not so late. Do I make myself clear?”

They all shout happily. Mrs. Lau smiles brightly at them as they continue their happy picnic at the beach

Sunny asks her friend while putting makeup on her face

Sunny raised her eyebrow while staring at Ryeowook who is wearing black slim cut jeans and a river island cream lace frilly sleeveless blouse

 

“I can’t understand why your boyfriend is so conservative. You supposed to be wearing a cocktail dress like mine”

 

Ryeowook looks at Sunny who is smiling at her while wearing a black lace cocktail dress

 

“We’re going in a bar and we’re going to have a party there”

 

“Oppa doesn’t want me to wear y outfit and I also hate it. You know that”

 

Sunny chuckles

 

“You guys are really meant to be because you’re both conservative”

 

Sunny teases Ryeowook who just smiles at her. Sunny styles Ryeowook’s hair into a low side ponytail with loose curls framing her glowing face

 

“I can also be your hairstylist whenever Hyukkie is busy”

 

Sunny told Ryeowook happily. She pulls Ryeowook up and pulls her towards the dresser

Sunny told Ryeowook while hugging her from behind. Ryeowook smiles brightly while staring at the mirror

Sunny told her friend happily. She walks towards her bed and gets her black clutch and Ryeowook’s red clutch

 

“Let’s go. I’m sure that our Prince Charming is already waiting for us”

 

Sunny smiles brightly. Ryeowook nods happily and gets her red clutch on Sunny’s hand. They smile at each other as they went out. They went downstairs wherein Jongwoon and Henry are already waiting for them at the living room while playing PS3 happily

 

“Where are the others?”

 

Sunny asks Henry and Jongwoon. They look at Sunny and Ryeowook and smile brightly upon seeing them

 

“Umma is already sleeping while Lovers in Mouse Rabbit I already go at the Brendan Behan Pub with Siwon Hyung and Manager Mimi”

 

The girls nod at them

Jongwoon walks towards Ryeowook who blush because of his gorgeousness. Jongwoon was wearing a black shirt that was tuck inside his black skinny jeans. Ryeowook notices two buttons, revealing Jongwoon’s y collarbone and milky skin. He was wearing black Calvin Klein Jeans Men’s Lian leather boots

 

“You look so simple and very beautiful”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook before holding her hand. He suddenly frowns upon seeing Ryeowook’s shoes. She’s wearing sweet soiree flat shoes in candy apple that she borrowed from Sunny

 

“Where are the crystal glass slippers that I give you awhile ago? I told you to wear it, right?”

 

Ryeowook nods

 

“But Oppa, I’m already tired of wearing heels. You know that I’m not used to it. Just let me wear flat shoes for awhile. Is it ok?”

Ryeowook nods happily. Jongwoon smiles at her and they went out of the rest house. Jongwoon walks towards the black Lamborghini Reventon

Ryeowook asks her boyfriend as he opens the door for her. Jongwoon shook his head

 

“Not really. Appa was the one who bought this car for me. This is the first time that I’m going to use it since I haven’t been here for a long time”

 

Jongwoon suddenly snaps his fingers

He told Ryeowook while smiling brightly. Ryeowook stares at him curiously. Jongwoon gets his mobile phone inside his pocket when he heard it ringing. He stares at the caller’s name before answering the call

Changmin smiles upon hearing Jongwoon’s calm voice

 

“Did I disturb you Mr. Kim? Can I talk to you?”

 

Jongwoon’s blood suddenly boils at the sudden question

 

“Mr. Shim, I wouldn’t answer your call if you can’t talk to me. Are you really stupid or what?”

Jongwoon shouts because of anger. Ryeowook’s heart starts beating fast as she starts to get nervous while staring at Jongwoon’s serious face. Changmin gulps nervously

Changmin’s hand starts trembling because of fear. He can’t understand why Jongwoon is getting mad all of a sudden. Ryeowook holds Jongwoon’s hand. Jongwoon can feel her cold trembling hand. Ryeowook hugs him, calming him. Jongwoon takes a deep breath

 

“I’m sorry about that Mr. Shim. What is it that you want to tell me?”

 

Jongwoon ask Changmin in a very calm manner. Changmin takes a deep breath

 

“I’m sorry Mr. Kim if ever I disturb you. I just want to say that the renovation of your friend’s house already start awhile ago. Is there something that you want to add up? Any special request or something?”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“Just make sure that everything is properly done and they can finish the renovation before I fly back in Seoul next week”

“Anything else?”

 

Changmin shook his head

 

“That’s all Mr. Kim. Have a good vacation”

Jongwoon hangs up and stares at Ryeowook who is still hugging him

“Don’t call someone stupid because you’ll never know how much you hurt their feelings. Nobody is perfect and just think about how hard he’s doing his job. He’s giving his best to be your secretary, so don’t call him stupid. Don’t degrade other people because they commit a simple mistake. So what if you’re the boss? You also need to respect your employee’s feelings and opinion. You’re not going to be in your position without them”

Jongwoon flicks Ryeowook’s forehead

 

“Let’s go?”

 

“Ok. I’m sure that they are already waiting for us”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“We’re not going to follow them”

 

“Huh?”

 

Jongwoon smiles

 

“We’re going to have a date. Let’s have a joy ride. It’s more fun than hearing loud music and seeing crazy and liberated people dancing at the bar. I really hate going there. Let’s just have our own world together. What do you think?”

 

“Not bad at all”

 

Ryeowook smiles at Jongwoon. She was about to go inside the car, but Jongwoon stops her

 

“I have a great idea baby. Why don’t you just drive the car?”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook and raised the car key in front of her. Ryeowook shook her head

 

“I don’t know how to drive”

 

“Then I’ll teach you, so you can drive me to my work someday”

 

“How are you going to teach me?”

 

“Simple”

 

Jongwoon closed the door. He holds Ryeowook’s hand and pulls her happily towards the driver’s seat. Jongwoon opens the door and went in

 

“You sit on my lap while you drive, so I can instruct you properly on what to do”

 

Ryeowook stares at Jongwoon blankly

 

“Come on baby. Just go inside”

 

Ryeowook gulps nervously while staring at Jongwoon. She feels so shy because she will be sitting on Jongwoon’s lap

 

“Wookie…”

 

Ryeowook nods shyly and slowly went inside, sitting on Jongwoon’s lap. Jongwoon closed the door and hugs Ryeowook from behind, making her blush

 

“Ah…Op…pa?”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

Ryeowook coughs

 

“Do we really need to do it? I mean, do I really need to sit on your lap?”

 

“You don’t want us to be like this?”

 

“Well…it’s not that”

 

Ryeowook sighs

 

“Arasso. But I really don’t think that I can do it”

 

“Of course you can”

 

Jongwoon hands her the car key

 

“Start the engine”

 

“How do I do that?”

 

“First you insert the key into the ignition”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook while holding her right hand, guiding her on what to do. Jongwoon helps her insert the key into the ignition

 

“After inserting it into the ignition, you need to twist the key using your fingers”

 

Jongwoon hold Ryeowook’s fingers help her to twist the key. Ryeowook smiles when the car starts

 

“See? It’s easy right?”

 

Ryeowook nods happily

 

“But before you start the engine, you need to do first what you will do to your feet. Since this car is a manual transmission car then it has a clutch pedal. Please look at my feet baby”

 

Ryeowook looks down and notice Jongwoon’s left foot stepping on something

 

“The one that I’m stepping is what you call the clutch pedal. You need to step on before you start the engine because it is important to make sure that the transmission gear shift is in neutral before attempting to start the car. Do you understand?”

 

Ryeowook nods

 

“Start driving now. Take it slow since you’re still studying”

 

“But I can’t do it”

 

“Of course you can”

 

Jongwoon smiles and holds Ryeowook’s hands and place it on the steering wheel

 

“Hold the steering wheel not so tight. Just relax”

 

“I’m scared”

 

“You don’t have to because I’m here. Let’s put it this way. I’ll be the one who will control the pedals and the gear while you control the steering wheel. I’ll explain everything to you as you drive and if you can already do it alone then that’s the time that I’m going to let you control everything, arasso?”

 

Ryeowook nods nervously

 

“Don’t be nervous baby. It’s easy and I’m sure that you can do it. It’s going to be fun, believe me. Just relax and don’t get nervous. Remember you’re the one who is driving, if you feel nervous and scared then we end up in the hospital”

 

Jongwoon laughs softly to tease his girlfriend

 

“Yah! That’s not a good joke”

 

“Well, at least we’re together if ever we’re going to die”

 

“OPPA!!!”

 

“Ok. I didn’t say anything. Ready?”

 

Ryeowook nods. Jongwoon wraps his arms around Ryeowook’s waist making her blush again

 

“Seriously, we’re like having here inside your car”

 

Ryeowook told Jongwoon shyly. Jongwoon blush

 

“Yah! What the hell are you talking about? Just start controlling the steering wheel now”

 

“Arasso”

 

Jongwoon smiles brightly. Ryeowook takes the deep breath as she and Jongwoon start driving the car

 

 

 

 

*INDEPENDENCE PARK*

 

 

Jongwoon and Ryeowook were sitting at the football field of the National Stadium while holding each other’s hand

 

“I’m sorry Wookie”

 

“For?”

 

“For bringing you here, you see. It’s already late at night and those romantic places that we can visit here in Jamaica are already closed and this is the only place that I know that we can visit since I can always borrow the key here. Maybe we can sneak around tomorrow after Hae and Hyukkie’s wedding”

 

“It’s ok Oppa. I am enjoying this vacation because we’re together”

 

Ryeowook smiles brightly

 

“Look! There’s a shooting star. Let’s make a wish Jongwoon Oppa”

 

Ryeowook closed her eyes as she makes a wish. Jongwoon stares at her happily. He smiles brightly and kissed Ryeowook’s cheek. Ryeowook slowly opens her eyes and stares at Jongwoon who is smiling brightly at her

 

“I told you that we should make a wish. Why did you kiss me?”

 

Ryeowook asks while pouting

 

“You don’t want?”

 

“Of course I want, but…”

 

Jongwoon holds her lips to stop her from talking

 

“I don’t need to make a wish baby because my wish is already granted since the day that I met you”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook making her blush

 

“Did I say something wrong?”

 

Ryeowook shook her head. Jongwoon kissed Ryeowook’s hand

 

“Baby, I really love you and I’m going to fight for you no matter what happen”

 

“But I don’t want you to give up your life because of me”

 

“I told you that I can go far and I’m willing to give up everything because I love you. Just let me love you the way that it should be. You don’t need to be afraid baby because I’m here and we’re together. I’m going to fight for you, love you and protect you until the end. Please trust me and my love for you”

 

Ryeowook nods happily

 

“I love you so much Wookie”

 

Ryeowook blush when Jongwoon moves closer, leaning his gorgeous face closer to her. Ryeowook closed her eyes, waiting for Jongwoon to kiss her. But instead of kissing her, Jongwoon brushes some hair away from Ryeowook’s beautiful face

 

“You should not let your hair cover your beautiful face”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook who slowly opens her eyes and stares at Jongwoon who smiles at her

 

“Do you want to eat ice cream?”

 

Jongwoon asks Ryeowook who suddenly frowns at him

 

“Yah! I hate you”

 

Jongwoon’s eyes widened upon hearing Ryeowook

 

“Hate me? Why? I’m not doing anything”

 

“Why are you so insensitive huh? Aish!”

 

Ryeowook frowns and stands up

 

“Seriously, are you really my boyfriend? Aish! I really hate you Oppa”

 

Ryeowook told Jongwoon before walking away

 

“YAH! BABY! COME BACK HERE!!!”

 

Jongwoon shouts

 

“What’s wrong with that girl? Why is she acting so strange all of a sudden? What’s wrong in telling her that she should not let her hair cover her beautiful face? Did I say it rudely?”

 

Jongwoon scratches his head, feeling so confused

 

“Is she mad because of that or because I didn’t wish upon the shooting star or because I ask her if she wants to eat ice cream? Which is which? I suddenly become confused. I can’t understand girl’s mood”

 

Jongwoon sighs. He stands up and stares at the sky

 

“Thank you for granting my wish. Thank you for giving me the girl whom I love and the girl who makes my life complete and make me happy. I promise to take care of her and love her more each day”

 

Jongwoon smiles brightly and starts walking to follow Ryeowook outside
