Chapter 8

 

 

Jongwoon wakes up feeling a little bit dizzy and weak. He holds his head because it’s aching so badly. Jongwoon slowly opens his eyes and found his self lying on the bed

 

“Where am I?”

 

Jongwoon slowly sits on the bed while holding his head

 

“What happen to me? Seriously, I can’t remember what happen yesterday night. How did I get here? Where exactly is this place?”

 

Jongwoon was about to get off of the bed when he realizes that he was actually half . Jongwoon’s eyes widened

 

“Aigoo! What did I do yesterday? I didn’t remember sleeping with someone or…”

 

Jongwoon bites his thumb

 

“Yah! How did I even remove my suit? Aish!”

 

Jongwoon holds his forehead

 

“I can’t even remember anything”

 

Jongwoon slowly gets up. He stretches his arms and his back and rubs it gently

 

“What kind of bed is that? Seriously, is it really a bed? The mattress is not even soft. My back hurts”

 

Jongwoon whispers while frowning. He walks towards the study table inside the room

 

“Wait a second…”

 

Jongwoon recognize the book that was lying on top of the table. He picks it up and stares on it

 

“This is the hard bound book about arts that I bought at the library for Wookie. What is this book doing here? Don’t tell me that…”

 

Jongwoon opens the book and his eyes suddenly widened upon seeing Ryeowook’s name written at the lower right corner of the book

 

“Aigoo! How did I arrive at her house? Who brings me here? There’s nothing happen between us, right? I mean I didn’t her or something”

 

Jongwoon starts to panic while recalling everything that happens yesterday. He starts to get confused because he can’t remember the things that happen to him right after he falls asleep inside the small restaurant. Jongwoon holds his forehead and touches something so weird. He walks towards the old dresser and stares at the mirror. His eyes widened upon seeing a bulge on his forehead and it’s still swelling

 

“Oh my goodness! What the ing hell happen to my gorgeous face?”

 

Jongwoon carefully touches the bulge on his forehead

 

“Ouch! Did I engage myself in a fight?”

 

Jongwoon sighs and looks for his clothes, but he can’t find it. Jongwoon looks for his wallet and mobile phone and saw it on top of the side table. He grabs his mobile phone and was about to call some of his personal assistants to buy him new clothes when he saw a letter on the table. Jongwoon picks it up and read

 

 

Jongwoon Oppa…

 

I’m sorry to leave you alone in my house. I need to go at Seoul University today. I cooked your breakfast. Just eat it when you wake up. It will help you to recover from your hang over. Drink a lot of water and don’t leave the house if you’re still not fine. I leave the bottle of aspirin on the table at the kitchen. Drink it if you have head ache. I washed your clothes and iron it for you. Just get it inside my cabinet. I hang it inside. If you’re already leaving, don’t forget to lock the door and just take the cab. Your cousin will be the one who will explain everything about your car. But I guess, Hyukkie and Hae bring it at the auto shop with Manager Mimi. Take care

“Hyukkie? Hae? Who are they? Car? What happen to my car?”

 

Jongwoon asks his self while staring at the letter. He folds the paper carefully and put it inside his wallet. He went inside the small bathroom and washed his face

 

“I suddenly feel embarrassed because I disturb Wookie and…”

 

Jongwoon gulps while holding his chest

 

“Aigoo! If she’s the one who washed my clothes then…”

 

Jongwoon slaps his cheek

 

“Pabo! Kim Jongwoon, aish! Don’t tell me that she’s the one who clean me yesterday since I’m drunk and out of my mind. Oh my goodness, it’s so embarrassing and she even saw me half . How am I going to show my face in front of her again? Kim Jongwoon, you’re so stupid. It’s really embarrassing”

 

Jongwoon sighs and went out of the bathroom. He opens Ryeowook’s cabinet and grabs his clothes and gets dress. Jongwoon fix his hair with his hands. He grabs his mobile phone and his wallet on the table and went out of Ryeowook’s room. Jongwoon went at the kitchen and saw his breakfast and the bottle of aspirin on the table

 

“Wow! It looks so delicious”

 

Jongwoon told his self while rubbing his tummy. He pulls the chair and sits down. He was about to eat when he suddenly frowns. He stares at the chopsticks on the table

 

“How am I going to eat? I don’t even know how to use chopsticks”

 

Jongwoon stand up and looks for spoon or fork, but he can’t find one. He stares at the food that Ryeowook cooks for him

 

“How am I going to eat?”

 

Jongwoon pouts while thinking. He suddenly snaps his fingers and look for a lunch box. He smiles happily when he saw an empty Tupperware inside the cabinet. Jongwoon gets it and carefully put his breakfast inside

 

“I’m just going to eat it at home”

 

Jongwoon smiles brightly. He gets a glass of water and drinks one tablet of aspirin for his head ache. Jongwoon hear his mobile phone ringing. He gets it inside his pocket and answers the call

 

“Siwon-ah”

 

“Where are you?”

 

“I’m on my way home, why?”

 

Jongwoon heard Siwon laughing with Zhoumi

 

“Are you with Mimi?”

 

“Yes. We’re actually here at Mercedes Benz Customer Service. Your car is totally mess. I don’t know if you will laugh or cry or maybe get mad when you saw the damage”

 

Jongwoon raised his eyebrow

 

“Just throw it away. I don’t need it anymore. I’ll asks Mr. Shim to go there and pay for whatever bill that I have”

 

“They are not yet fixing it. They we’re actually calculating how much it will cost to fix the damage”

 

“Just tell them that I’ll buy another car. No need to fix it. Just throw it away after fixing the damage”

 

Siwon laughs softly

 

“Ok. We’re just going to give it at the junk shop, is that ok with you?”

 

“Arasso. Anyway, who are the people who caused damage in my car?”

 

“Ah…”

 

Siwon stops laughing

 

“Well, they are Eunhyuk-shi and Donghae-shi. They are workers at Mouse Rabbit. They are the one who bring you at Wookie’s house. I didn’t know that you guys are already living together”

 

Siwon teases Jongwoon

 

“YAH! STOP TEASING ME!”

 

Jongwoon shouts over the phone while blushing

 

“Why did they bring me at Wookie’s house?”

 

“Because you keep on calling out her name”

 

“I did?”

 

Siwon nods

 

“I’m sure that Minnie will be on fire when she finds out about it”

 

“Oh yes…I almost forget about her. Aigoo! My head suddenly aches so badly while thinking about Minnie. I’m going to deal with her again when I arrive home”

 

Jongwoon told Siwon sadly while holding his forehead

 

“Don’t worry Jongwoon-ah. I can say that you’re lucky today because your loving fiancée fly in Paris today. She left so early”

 

“What? What is she going to do in Paris?”

 

“She didn’t tell you?”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“She’s not telling me anything about it”

 

“Oh…I guess she’s really mad at you”

 

Siwon teases Jongwoon while laughing softly

 

“Well, according to Sulli. Minnie will be staying in Paris for the meantime. I just don’t know for how long she will be there because Sulli didn’t tell me and Minnie didn’t also tell me about it. She has projects in Paris and she’ll be modeling for Christian Loubotin’s new shoes collection. So, I guess you can enjoy with Wookie since Minnie is out for the meantime”

 

“Pabo! What the hell are you talking about? I’m not a playboy like you. I only love Wookie”

 

“But you’re going to marry Minnie”

 

“That thing will never happen”

 

Siwon sighs

 

“Don’t tell me that the thing that I’m thinking right now is the thing that you will do. Right?”

 

“I don’t care about Appa. If he disowns me then fine. I am willing to give up everything. I don’t need power and wealth to be happy because being with the girl I love is the true happiness that I’m seeking for”

 

“You’re insane”

 

“I’m not insane. Appa just need to choose between his son and his selfishness. But I know that he will never choose me because that man never loves me at all”

 

Jongwoon sighs

 

“By the way, can I ask for a little favor again?”

 

Siwon nods

 

“What is it?”

 

“I need a very good Architect and Interior Designers. Please tell Mimi to give Wookie’s address to them. I need them to go here now and please tell them to lock the door when they leave”

 

“What’s with the Architect and Interior Designers?”

 

“Stop being stupid and just follow me. They know what to do upon their arrival here and please tell them not to touch anything first. I need to hear their plan first”

 

“Copy, anything else?”

 

“See you later”

 

Jongwoon hangs up. He grabs the Tupperware on the table and leave Ryeowook’s house without locking the door

 

 

 

 

*SEOUL UNIVERSITY*

 

 

Ryeowook went at the President’s Office with Mrs. Lau. Ryeowook wants to talk to him to ask his permission to let her stay and finished the remaining semesters before she transfer to other school

 

“I’m going to pay my tuition fee now. Just let me finished the remaining semesters for this school year before I transfer to other school”

 

Ryeowook begs the President of the University

 

“You don’t need to do that”

 

The President told her. He stares at Ryeowook who is staring at him blankly

 

“Actually…”

 

The President of Seoul University takes a deep breath

 

“I and the Board Members just had a meeting yesterday about it. I’m happy to inform you that you can go back here next week. We’re already returning your scholarship until you finished your studies here”

 

Ryeowook’s tears start forming in her eyes. She can’t believe what she just heard

 

“Is that true?”

 

The President smiles at her and nods his head

 

“But I thought…”

 

“Just accept the scholarship and continue studying until you finally graduated. We’re sorry for the damage, but I hope that you will still enjoy your stay here in Seoul University and I’m looking forward to your graduation”

 

Ryeowook smiles brightly while controlling her tears from falling. Mrs. Lau holds Ryeowook’s hands happily

 

“Thank you so much Mr. President. It really means a lot to me”

 

The President of Seoul University shook his head

 

“You don’t need to thank me. I think you should thank Mr. Kim”

 

“Mr. Kim?”

 

The President nods at Ryeowook

 

“Mr. Kim Jongwoon and he will be the one who will shoulder your expenses for your practicum, so no need to worry about that. Just keep your money for yourself and for future use, ok?”

 

Ryeowook just nods her head

 

“Thank you Mr. President”

 

Ryeowook and Mrs. Lau bow at him and quietly leave his office

 

“Ahjumma, what will I do? I suddenly don’t want to accept my scholarship again. Why is he like that? I don’t need his help. Why is he doing this? I don’t want to owe him a lot”

 

“Maybe he has his own reason why he did that. And you will only find the answer if you will talk to him”

 

“But…”

 

Ryeowook stares at Mrs. Lau sadly

 

“Sweetheart…”

 

Mrs. Lau holds Ryeowook’s beautiful face between her hands

 

“Just give that boy a chance to explain. You will never understand him if you won’t listen and beside…”

 

Mrs. Lau smiles at Ryeowook

 

“I don’t think that he’s the one who sends you the letter and that business card”

 

“But Ahjumma, it was very clear that th—“

 

Mrs. Lau holds Ryeowook’s lips

 

“He’s not that kind of man. He maybe snobbish and always serious, but I bet he’s not the type of person who will hurt someone like that, especially if that person is very special to him”

 

Mrs. Lau laughs softly when Ryeowook blush

 

“I’m not special to him”

 

“Really? That’s why he just confessed his feelings for you yesterday”

 

Ryeowook’s eyes widened

 

“How?”

 

“How did I know? Well, I’m sorry sweetheart. But we eavesdrop yesterday through the kitchen door”

 

“AHJUMMA!!!”

 

Ryeowook turns super red, feeling so embarrassed towards Mrs. Lau who starts laughing at her

 

“It’s ok sweetheart. No need to be shy. It’s ok to love. That’s the greatest thing a person can ever felt”

 

“But…”

 

Ryeowook drops her head

 

“I will only hurt him if I continue loving him”

 

Ryeowook stares at Mrs. Lau sadly

 

“Ahjumma, Jongwoon Oppa’s world is very far away from me. He’s a Prince and I’m a beggar. Things will never work between us. You see, he already has a fiancée. I am no match to a very rich, elite and famous world class model like Lee Sungmin. Her education attainment is much higher than mine and she’s very beautiful. She’s the ideal type of all men and she’s the rightful girl for Jongwoon Oppa”

 

“You’re right sweetheart. She’s beautiful, famous, rich, elite, high class. She got everything that girls want to have, but…”

 

Mrs. Lau holds Ryeowook’s hands

 

“Mr. Kim loves you and not her. She maybe better than you in every aspect, but you still win over her because your heart is pure and you’re such a sweet and loving girl. Sweetheart, always remember that money can never buy everything and it will never make you happy forever. Money can never buy love. Mr. Kim’s world is really far away from you, but he still chooses you no matter how far your world to him is. Just give him some time to explain his self. That boy will never hurt you and he can never do that”

 

Mrs. Lau smiles at Ryeowook

 

“Let’s go now. Driver Ahjusshi is already waiting for us”

 

Ryeowook nods happily. She hugs Mrs. Lau

 

“Thank you Ahjumma. I’m really lucky to have a family in Mouse Rabbit”

 

“So, if ever you marry that snobbish and very serious boy, it only means that I’m going to have another child”

 

Mrs. Lau teases Ryeowook who starts blushing again

 

“AHJUMMA! Stop teasing me”

 

Ryeowook pouts. Mrs. Lau chuckles. She holds Ryeowook’s eyes and smiles brightly at her

 

“Let’s go sweetheart. I’m sure that your siblings are already waiting for us. I’m sure that they will be happy to hear the good news about your scholarship. We can celebrate later”

 

“But how about Hae and Hyukkie? They still need to pay the damage that they caused on Jongwoon Oppa’s car”

 

Mrs. Lau pats Ryeowook’s cheek

 

“Don’t worry about that sweetheart. We’re going to pay it. Mimi is already canvassing for the cost of the damage. We’re going to talk about it later when he arrive at Mouse Rabbit, so we know how much money we need in order to pay the damage”

 

Mrs. Lau holds Ryeowook’s hand

 

“Don’t worry too much. We can do it because we’re family”

 

Ryeowook nods happily and holds Mrs. Lau hands tightly as they start walking together while Ryeowook tells Mrs. Lau the whole story on how Eunhyuk and Donghae damage Jongwoon’s car

 

 

 

 

Jongwoon was sitting inside his Jaguar XJ while staring at Ryeowook’s number. He wants to call her and asks her out, but he doesn’t know how and he’s still shy because of what happen yesterday

 

“Aish! What am I going to do now?”

 

Jongwoon was about to throw his mobile phone on the passenger seat when he remembers something. Jongwoon calls Stephanie

 

“Mr. Kim”

 

“Ms. Hwang, I need you to call the butler of our resort in Jamaica. Tell him that I’m going to have vacation there with Siwon and our friends. We’re leaving tomorrow. Call our travel agency and please arrange everything for tomorrow’s flight”

 

“Yes Mr. Kim”

 

“Just give me a call, arasso?”

 

“Yes Mr. Kim”

 

Jongwoon hangs up and calls Siwon

 

“Jongwoon-ah”

 

“Are you busy?”

 

“Why?”

 

“I plan to go in Jamaica. We’re leaving tomorrow”

 

Siwon smiles

 

“Just the two of us?”

 

“Of course not, just invite whoever you want”

 

“So…”

 

Siwon laughs softly

 

“I can bring my girls?”

 

“Pabo! If you want to cause chaos then bring them all and I’m going to kill you right away”

 

“I’m just kidding ok. I won’t bring any of them so I can enjoy my time being alone and I know that you’re planning to bring your Wookie in Jamaica and her family in Mouse Rabbit, right?”

 

Jongwoon nods while smiling

 

“Yes. It will be very fun if we go on a vacation with them. I just want to relax. I’m stressing myself too much because of work, Umma, Appa, my wedding next year and Minnie. I think I’m going to lose my mind. I want to enjoy my life with the girl that I love. Even just for a little time”

 

Siwon smile

 

“Arasso. No problem Jongwoon-ah. By the way did the Architect and Interior Designers already talk to you?”

 

“I told them to leave the copy of their plan for the renovation or let’s say just a simple make over for Wookie’s house to Mr. Shim. I already told Mr. Shim that I’ll leave everything to him. I’m sure that when we return here in Seoul after our vacation in Jamaica, the renovation is already done”

 

Jongwoon explains to Siwon happily

 

“You know what?”

 

“What?”

 

“You really love her that much”

 

“I do. I love her that much. I’ll see you at home later and start packing your things”

 

“Arasso”

 

“Don’t pack your girls with you”

 

Jongwoon laughs softly, teasing Siwon

 

“Don’t worry Jongwoon. I’ll just find another girl in Jamaica”

 

“Pabo!”

 

Siwon laughs and stares at his watch

 

“I need to go now Jongwoon-ah. I still have a meeting. See you later”

 

“Arasso”

 

Jongwoon hangs up. He stares at his wallpaper and smile while staring at Ryeowook

 

“Arasso. You can do it Kim Jongwoon. You just need to ask her out. That’s all. Don’t be a scared cat”

 

Jongwoon takes a deep breath

 

“Fighting!”

 

He smiles brightly and kissed his wallpaper. He stares at the rare view mirror to check his self. Jongwoon takes a deep breath and went out of his car. He went first at the library to buy some books before going up at Mouse Rabbit. Jongwoon went inside and walks at the counter. Eunhyuk and Donghae immediately hide under the counter upon seeing Jongwoon

 

“What did I do? Why did they hide under the counter?”

 

Jongwoon asks his self confusedly. He leans closer at the counter and take a peek, looking for Eunhyuk and Donghae

 

“Excuse me. Why are you guys hiding under the counter? I’m not doing anything”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae stare at each other

 

“My honey Hae, what are we going to do? Manager Mimi and Ahjumma are not yet here”

 

“Do you think Mr. Kim is here to ask for our payment?”

 

“Or maybe he’s here to drag us in jail?”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae hold each other’s face while staring at each other with wide eyes open

 

“AIGOO!!! WHAT TO DO?”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae shout in unison, feeling so nervous

 

“Let’s just beg for him and tell him that we will pay right away. We can just give him our Bada and Choco”

 

“Ok”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae take a deep breath and immediately stand up to face Jongwoon who is staring at them blankly

 

“MR. KIM!!!”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae immediately went out of the counter and hug Jongwoon

 

“We’re begging you. Don’t send us in jail”

 

“We promise to pay the damage that we caused on your car. We’re going to lend Choco and Bada first until we can pay you”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae beg for Jongwoon who is still staring at them blankly

 

“You see, my honey Hae and I are about to drop you at Wookie’s house. We supposed to take a cab, but we saw your car parked outside the small restaurant. We attempt to drive it so we can drop you fast at Wookie’s house. But unfortunately, we don’t know how to drive a car because we only know how to drive our Vespa”

 

“We’re really sorry Mr. Kim, but please don’t send us in jail. My honey Hyukkie and I are still planning to marry each other. And my dream wedding is not inside the jail, so please have mercy on us and don’t send us in jail. Don’t worry because we’re going to invite you in our wedding. You’ll be the Principal Sponsor, right my honey Hyukkie?”

 

Eunhyuk nods happily

 

“PLEASE FORGIVE US. WE’RE REALLY SORRY”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae shout in unison while bowing their head. Jongwoon bites his lips, controlling his laughter. He stares at the couple who is still bowing at him. Jongwoon coughs. Eunhyuk and Donghae stare at Jongwoon while gulping nervously

 

“So, you’re Eunhyuk-shi and Donghae-shi?”

 

Jongwoon asks them curiously. Eunhyuk and Donghae nod at him

 

“I’m Lee Eunhyuk and…”

 

Eunhyuk holds Donghae’s hand and pushes him towards Jongwoon

 

“He’s Lee Donghae. He’s my boyfriend”

 

Jongwoon nods his head while staring at them

 

“Can I ask something?”

 

The couple nods at Jongwoon

 

“How did we arrive at Wookie’s house?”

 

“Ah…”

 

Donghae smiles

 

“Since we don’t know how to drive your car, we just call Manager Mimi to drive your car. We wait for him to arrive before we call for a cab to drop you at Wookie’s house”

 

Jongwoon nods and gets his wallet inside his pocket. Eunhyuk and Donghae stare at him blankly

 

“How much did you pay for the cab?”

 

Jongwoon was getting money inside his wallet to pay Eunhyuk and Donghae

 

“NO!!!”

 

The couple shouts in unison

 

“We don’t need cash Mr. Kim”

 

Eunhyuk told Jongwoon

 

“You don’t need cash?”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae nod at him. Jongwoon gets one of his credit cards and gives it to Eunhyuk and Donghae

 

“Then take my credit card”

 

The couple shook their head

 

“We don’t need credit card”

 

“Then what do you need? If you’re not accepting cash or credit card, how am I supposed to pay you guys? How about a cheque? Do you accept cheque?”

 

The couple shook their head again

 

“Mr. Kim, you don’t need to pay us. It’s free”

 

The couple smiles at Jongwoon

 

“But…”

 

Eunhyuk raised his hand to stop Jongwoon from talking

 

“Just don’t send us in jail for damaging your car…please”

 

Jongwoon nods

 

“Ok. First of all I’m not going to send you guys in jail. I’m not mad at all and I’m not that kind of person who will send someone in jail just for nonsense reason”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae nod and smile at him

 

“Then why are you here?”

 

Donghae asks Jongwoon curiously. Jongwoon coughs

 

“I’m here to look for Wookie. Where is she?”

 

Eunhyuk looks at Jongwoon

 

“Well, Wookie went at Seoul University with Mrs. Lau. We just don’t know why they are not yet here. Maybe they spend some time together just like mother and daughter and maybe they also eat lunch outside. Why are you looking for her?”

 

Eunhyuk asks Jongwoon curiously

 

“Ah…can I ask something again?”

 

Jongwoon asks the couple who nods at him

 

“I’m actually going to ask her out today. But I don’t know how”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae stare at each other and smile

 

“Are you courting her?”

 

Eunhyuk asks Jongwoon

 

“Can I?”

 

Eunhyuk wraps his arm on Jongwoon’s shoulder

 

“Of course you can”

 

Eunhyuk told Jongwoon happily before coughing

 

“But where are the flowers?”

 

“Flowers?”

 

Eunhyuk nods

 

“Usually, men who will court a woman bring flowers for her. So, how come you’re not even bringing beautiful flowers for Wookie?”

 

“Well…”

 

Jongwoon scratches his head

 

“Do I need to? I mean, I bought her some books that she can use for her studies”

 

Jongwoon told Eunhyuk while showing him the shopping bags that he’s holding. Donghae walks towards Jongwoon and wraps his arm on Jongwoon’s shoulder

 

“Mr. Kim, do you know how to court a girl?”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“I never had a girlfriend and as far as I know, Minnie is not my girlfriend. I mean, our marriage is arranged”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae nod

 

“Do you want us to teach you?”

 

Donghae asks Jongwoon happily

 

“You’re going to teach me?”

 

The couple nods at him

 

“Trust us Mr. Kim. My honey Hae and I are the Love Gurus”

 

“Love Gurus?”

 

They nod happily

 

“Wookie always consult her love dilemma to us and we help her solve it. Since you’re asking for our help, my honey Hae and I are willing to help you”

 

“That’s right Mr. Kim. You can always consult your love dilemma to us. But before we help you and give you some advice, we need to teach you some sort of exercise first”

 

“Exercise?”

 

They nod happily at Jongwoon who is staring at them with confused face. He doesn’t understand what Eunhyuk and Donghae are telling him

 

“We’re going to teach you a very extraordinary dance. Don’t worry Mr. Kim because it’s very easy. You just need to follow us. We’re going to take it slow”

 

“It’s some kind of a ritual”

 

“Why do we need to have a ritual?”

 

Jongwoon asks them curiously

 

“We need to gather some positive aura and shoo away the negative vibes. In that case, our plan will work. Trust us. Ready?”

 

Jongwoon nods his head, still feeling so confused. Eunhyuk smiles and looks at his boyfriend who position his self, preparing to teach Jongwoon the extraordinary dance

 

“My honey Hae, are you ready?”

 

Donghae nods happily. Eunhyuk instruct Jongwoon to stand beside Donghae in which he obeys willingly. Eunhyuk then stand beside Jongwoon making him in between Donghae and him. Eunhyuk looks at his boyfriend while giggling happily, feeling so excited to teach Jongwoon their so-called ritual

 

“My honey Hae, hit it”

 

Donghae nods happily

 

“Just follow us Mr. Kim. No need to be shy”

 

Donghae told Jongwoon who just nods his head while looking at him. Donghae takes a deep breath

 

“First, place your hands on the sides of your waist”

 

Donghae instructed, Jongwoon and Eunhyuk follow him

Jongwoon imitates what Donghae and Eunhyuk are doing. He takes a deep breath for three times, just what the couple is doing

Jongwoon told them while laughing hard. Eunhyuk and Donghae stare at him and start laughing hard as well. They look like some bunch of crazy and drunken men

Donghae takes a deep breath and holds his tummy and starts laughing again

 

“We’re going to teach you…the extra…ordinary…dance, arasso?”

 

Jongwoon nods. Donghae and Eunhyuk stop laughing and take a deep breath. Jongwoon wipes his tears at the corner of his eyes because of laughing so hard. He takes a deep breath and bites his lips to stop his self from laughing

Jongwoon nods happily, still biting his lips to avoid laughing again

Donghae smiles brightly

 

“It’s time for the fishy fishy dance”

 

Jongwoon follows the couple. They all start dancing like a fish

Jongwoon follows the couple’s step. He starts swaying his hips ily while wiggling his . Ryeowook arrives at Mouse Rabbit with Mrs. Lau and Zhoumi. They were shock to see Jongwoon dancing so crazy with Eunhyuk and Donghae

 

“What the ing hell are they doing to Jongwoon Oppa?”

 

Ryeowook whispers. Zhoumi starts laughing while watching Jongwoon dance. He can’t believe that Eunhyuk and Donghae can make Jongwoon dance their extraordinary dance. Zhoumi runs towards them and join them in dancing. Mrs. Lau stares at them happily

 

“I didn’t know that he also know how to enjoy life. I never see him like that”

 

Mrs. Lau told Ryeowook who is laughing softly while watching Jongwoon. Jongwoon stops dancing the so-called extraordinary dance when he saw Ryeowook watching him happily. Jongwoon suddenly blush while staring at Ryeowook who is laughing softly while looking at him

 

“Pabo! Kim Jongwoon, you’re really stupid. Aish! It’s so embarrassing”

 

Jongwoon thought while blushing so hard. He immediately runs towards Zhoumi and hides at his back. Eunhyuk, Donghae and Zhoumi stop dancing and smile at Ryeowook and Mrs. Lau

 

“Hi Wookie and Ahjumma, welcome back. How’s your appointment at the President of Seoul University?”

 

Eunhyuk asks his friend. Ryeowook smiles at him

 

“I got my scholarship back”

 

“THAT WAS GREAT!!!”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae shout happily and run towards Ryeowook, hugging her tight. They kissed her cheek before hugging her again

 

“What is he doing here?”

 

Ryeowook asks the couple in a soft voice

 

“Why don’t you just ask him huh?”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae drag Ryeowook towards Zhoumi

 

“Manager Mimi, hand over Mr. Kim to our Wookie”

 

Zhoumi smiles and step aside

 

“You can do it Jongwoon. Don’t be shy”

 

Zhoumi told Jongwoon while patting his shoulder. Zhoumi, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Mrs. Lau went at the kitchen. They hide at the door so they can eavesdrop to Jongwoon and Ryeowook’s conversation

 

“What are you doing here?”

 

Ryeowook asks Jongwoon who is still blushing hard

 

“Ah…”

 

Jongwoon coughs and slowly raised his head and stares at Ryeowook who is staring at him blankly

 

“Ah…Wookie…”

 

Jongwoon’s heart starts beating fast. He feels so nervous to ask Ryeowook out because he’s afraid that she will just reject him. He looks around and saw Eunhyuk, Donghae, Zhoumi and Mrs. Lau who are watching them through the door, eavesdropping. They give him thumbs up. Jongwoon nods and focused his eyes back to Ryeowook. He takes a deep breath

 

“Ah Wookie…I’m just going to ask you out. Let’s have dinner later. I’ll fetch you at your house. 6PM, arasso? You’re going with me whether you like it or not. See you later”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook and walks away. Ryeowook watches Jongwoon blankly as he leaves Mouse Rabbit

 

“What was that? I didn’t catch it”

 

Ryeowook run to follow Jongwoon outside

 

“OPPA!!!”

 

Ryeowook shouts. Jongwoon heard her lovely voice. He turns around and walks towards Ryeowook

 

“You call me?”

 

Ryeowook nods

 

“Why?”

 

“Ah…I’m sorry but, I didn’t understand anything you told me awhile ago”

 

Jongwoon frowns

 

“Aish! Why are you so deaf? I don’t want to repeat it anymore”

 

“YAH! I didn’t understand it”

 

“It’s your fault. Aish!”

 

Jongwoon turns his back away and starts walking away

 

“OPPA!!!”

 

Jongwoon stops walking and looks at Ryeowook

 

“I’LL FETCH YOU LATER AT SIX”

 

Jongwoon shouts before smiling at Ryeowook who starts blushing because of Jongwoon’s sweet smile. He waves his hand and starts walking again

 

“Why does he need to fetch me at six? He’s so weird”

 

Ryeowook sighs and go back inside Mouse Rabbit. Zhoumi, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Mrs. Lau immediately run towards Ryeowook

 

“Let’s go Wookie and plan for your dinner date with Jongwoon later”

 

Zhoumi told Ryeowook happily

 

“Dinner date?”

 

They all nod at Ryeowook

 

“That’s the reason why he will fetch me later at home?”

 

“You didn’t hear him?”

 

“I didn’t understand him because he talks so fast”

 

Zhoumi flicks Ryeowook’s forehead

 

“That’s because you’re not listening. You’re just staring at Jongwoon with sparkling eyes

Zhoumi told Ryeowook and drags her happily. Eunhyuk and Donghae hug Mrs. Lau before running outside to follow Zhoumi and Ryeowook

It has an elegant piece; 18 karat gold and the silk petals footwear are made of gold, onyx and agate. Sunny uses the smoky eye makeup technique on Ryeowook and finished it with peach blush on and baby pink lipstick. Eunhyuk styles Ryeowook’s hair in a classy crown braid. He made a full braid from the top of Ryeowook’s ear to the other

Donghae whispers as they all agree with him. Ryeowook gulps nervously while staring at them

 

“I don’t look nice?”

 

They shook their head

They shout happily at her. Ryeowook smiles brightly at them

 

“Why don’t you walk? You’ll stress your legs if you will just stand there”

 

Sunny told Ryeowook who shook her head nervously

 

“I still don’t know how to walk on heels”

 

Ryeowook told them nervously. Eunhyuk and Donghae walk towards Ryeowook

 

“My honey Hyukkie and I will teach you while waiting for Mr. Kim”

 

Ryeowook nods at Donghae. They hold Ryeowook. Her knees start trembling. Eunhyuk and Donghae hold her tight, so she won’t fall

 

“Just relax Wookie”

 

Eunhyuk told Ryeowook as they start walking slowly, holding Ryeowook’s arms tightly. Zhoumi opens the door when he heard the doorbell ringing. He smiles brightly while staring at the telecom. He immediately opens the door and welcomes Jongwoon who is wearing a black suit, making him look like a Prince. He looks so handsome and black really suits him well. Zhoumi accompany Jongwoon at the living room. Jongwoon saw Ryeowook walking like a penguin while Eunhyuk and Donghae try to teach her how to walk on heels. Zhoumi coughs to catch their attention. Ryeowook blush upon seeing Jongwoon. She stares at Jongwoon’s very gorgeous face. Her heart starts jumping because of joy when Jongwoon flashes a bright smile; the smile that always kill her

 

“Shall we go now or you still need to learn how to walk on heels? I can wait”

 

Ryeowook shook her head

 

“Of course we can go now”

 

Eunhyuk and Donghae help Ryeowook to walk towards Jongwoon. Ryeowook holds Jongwoon’s hand tightly

 

“Let’s just walk slowly ok?”

 

Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook and smiles brightly making her blush so hard

Ryeowook was shock when Jongwoon carries her like a bride

“It’s ok. Don’t be shy. You can walk later. I just don’t want to make it hard for you”

 

Jongwoon smiles and looks at Zhoumi, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Sunny and Henry

 

“Thank you guys. See you tomorrow. All of you will join in our vacation in Jamaica, right?”

 

They nod at Jongwoon happily

 

“Enjoy your night”

 

Zhoumi smiles at them. Jongwoon nods happily

 

“We’re going now”

Ryeowook waves her hand at them as Jongwoon carries her outside. Ryeowook stares at Jongwoon as he went inside the elevator while carrying her. She looks away when Jongwoon looks at her

 

“Why are you avoiding my eyes?”

 

Ryeowook shook her head, still not looking at Jongwoon

 

“Seriously, you don’t need to buy me expensive clothes and shoes. I can just borrow some dress and shoes to Sunny. You don’t need to spend a lot of money for me”

 

“That’s what I want. You can’t do anything. Just don’t complain. It’s your payment because you leave me alone in your house. You supposed to take care of me because I have hangover”

 

Ryeowook looks at Jongwoon while pouting

 

“Yah! Why do I need to pay you? You’re the one who needs to pay me because you make it hard for me yesterday. Who told you to drink and get tipsy huh?”

 

“That’s because you break my heart”

 

Ryeowook suddenly blush upon hearing Jongwoon

“You’re forgiven because you agree to go out with me tonight and thank you for the delicious breakfast. How do you call that food?”

 

Ryeowook stares at Jongwoon blankly

 

“You don’t know Tteokbokki?”

 

Ryeowook asks Jongwoon with wide eyes open. Jongwoon nods at her

 

“To tell you the truth, that’s the first time that I’m going to eat it”

 

“What? Are you even human?”

 

“Our chef doesn’t cook food like that. It’s a street food you know”

 

“Then what are the foods that you’re eating?”

 

“Why do you want to know? Are you going to cook it for me?”

 

Jongwoon teases Ryeowook before going out of the elevator. He went out of the building and walks towards the white Lamborghini Aventador. He carefully puts down Ryeowook and opens the door for her. Jongwoon helps Ryeowook to go inside the car. He puts Ryeowook’s seatbelt before closing the door. Ryeowook stares at Jongwoon who run towards the driver’s seat. He went inside and looks at Ryeowook

 

“Where are we going?”

 

Ryeowook asks Jongwoon

 

“We’re going to have dinner at Bien-etre”

 

Ryeowook clears

 

“Oppa, can I ask a small favor?”

 

Jongwoon nods

 

“Can I just treat you tonight?”

 

“Huh? I’m the man and I’m the one who ask you out. Therefore, I’m the one who should treat you”

 

Ryeowook holds Jongwoon’s hand

 

“Just let me treat you ok. Just take it as my gratitude towards you for helping me with my scholarship”

 

Jongwoon’s eyes widened

 

“I think your forgot to tell Mr. President to keep his mouth quiet and not to be so talkative”

 

“What else did he tell you?”

 

“Secret”

 

Ryeowook laughs softly

 

“Let me treat you tonight ok? But of course I’m the one who’s going to choose the place where we can eat dinner. I don’t have much money to treat you in an expensive and very formal dinner. I’m not rich like you”

Jongwoon smiles at her

 

“I want to eat that rice cake again”

 

“Ok. I’ll let you eat food that you never taste before”

 

Jongwoon nods happily. He wears his seatbelt and closed the roof of his car. Jongwoon watch Ryeowook happily as she watches the roof slowly closing on its own. He eyes are full of amaze while watching the roof

 

“Where is your other car? The one that Hyukkie and Hae drive yesterday”

 

“Ah…I send it at the junk shop”

 

“But…Aigoo! Is the damage really big that it can never be fix anymore? How are we supposed to pay it?”

 

Ryeowook asks Jongwoon nervously. Jongwoon shook his head

 

“No need to pay me”

 

“But why?”

 

“That’s my decision ok. No need to ask a lot of question. Let’s go?”

 

Ryeowook nods at Jongwoon who smiles at her before driving his car

 

 

 

 

Ryeowook and Jongwoon were walking at the street hand on hand

 

“Where are you taking me?”

 

“We’re going to eat street foods”

 

Ryeowook answers Jongwoon happily. She drags him happily towards the kimbap stand. Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook as she orders kimbap

 

“How do you call that food?”

 

Ryeowook smiles at Jongwoon who is staring at the kimbap innocently. Ryeowook gets a toothpick and starts feeding Jongwoon. She watches him happily as he chew the kimbap carefully

 

“Delicious?”

 

Jongwoon nods while chewing his food. He gets the toothpick away from Ryeowook’s grip and starts feeding her as well. Jongwoon throws the toothpick on the trashcan and starts eating the kimbap using his hand. Ryeowook laughs softly while watching Jongwoon eat like a person who didn’t eat for hundred years. But he still manages to eat elegantly. No wonder he’s a rich man

 

“Are you allowed to eat street food?”

 

Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook blankly while chewing his food. He starts feeding Ryeowook again. Jongwoon feels so thirsty and asks the vendor for two glasses of cold water. Jongwoon gives Ryeowook a glass of water first before he drinks his water. Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook

 

“That was delicious. I didn’t know that a food like this exist here in Seoul”

 

Ryeowook laughs softly

 

“Are you an alien?”

 

“Well, that’s because I don’t go out in a place like this”

 

“Oh yes. I forgot that you’re rich”

 

Ryeowook smiles and pays their bill. She bows at the vendor and drags Jongwoon away

 

“It’s a bit weird because we’re wearing clothes like this while having a date at the street”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook while staring at the people looking at them, shooting them weird glares

 

“Just don’t mind them”

Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook who is hugging his arm

 

“You can walk properly now on heels”

 

Jongwoon smiles at Ryeowook

 

“Maybe”

 

Ryeowook told him while smiling brightly

 

“Oppa, wait for me here”

 

“Where are you going?”

 

“Just wait for me here”

 

Jongwoon watch Ryeowook as she slowly walks towards a food stand

 

“What is she going to do there?”

 

Jongwoon asks his self curiously. Ryeowook quickly return while holding two Tokkebi Hotdogs. She holds Jongwoon’s hand and drags him towards the bench. She sits happily and pulls Jongwoon on her side and gives him Tokkebi Hotdog while she eats the other one. She smiles brightly while watching Jongwoon eat. Jongwoon was shock when Ryeowook pinches his cheek

 

“You know Oppa? You look so cute. You’re so innocent while eating those street foods”

 

“That’s because it’s my first time eating strange food like this”

 

“Strange food? Oh my goodness, what is your citizenship? You’re also Korean like me and you live here in Seoul and you don’t know those kinds of food?”

 

Jongwoon nods like a kid

 

“I told you that our chef doesn’t cook those kinds of food and for your information, I live in Sydney Australia for a long time”

 

“Then what are you eating at home?”

 

“Why do you want to know?”

 

“I just want to know. There’s nothing wrong with that, right? I just want to know how a rich kid like you live his life”

 

Jongwoon sighs

 

“My life is so boring. Every day I go to work, stress myself in thinking a lot of things for the company and attend a lot of meetings. Then I go home and stress myself in dealing with my father and so-called fiancée whom I don’t even love”

 

Ryeowook notice a sudden change on Jongwoon’s expression. His smile vanished from his lips. Ryeowook stares at Jongwoon’s sad face

 

“That’s my every day routine. I don’t enjoy life like you do. I don’t eat food like this because I don’t go in places like this”

 

“Because you’re rich”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“To tell you the truth, I don’t even know that a place like this exist”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook before laughing softly

 

“Seriously?”

 

Jongwoon nods at Ryeowook

 

“Now, you’re already thinking if I’m really a human or an alien, right?”

 

“Of course not, I just find it so weird. Well, what can I expect? You’re rich. Of course you don’t go in places like this and as you told me awhile ago you don’t eat those kinds of food because your chef doesn’t cook those foods and that makes you innocent like a kid. “Remember the foods that we eat at Pierre Gagnaire?”

“Those are the types of food that our chef cooks. We don’t use chopsticks when we eat that’s why I don’t know how to use it. We use fork and knife when we eat”

 

“I see. So, rich people always eat formally”

 

“I don’t know if rich people are all like that. But that’s how we eat and the usual food that we eat”

 

Ryeowook’s eyes suddenly widened

 

“Aigoo! Then how did you eat the Tteokbokki that I cooked for you awhile ago?”

 

Jongwoon smiles before answering Ryeowook

 

“I put it in a Tupperware and bring it home. I forgot to bring your Tupperware. I’ll just return it to you next time”

“Wookie…”

“Why are you so weird?”

 

Jongwoon ask. Ryeowook stares at him blankly

 

“It’s just that girls usually want to go at expensive restaurant and expensive malls and shop all day during their date with their boyfriend, husband or lover. You don’t want us to have a date like that?”

 

“Well…”

 

Ryeowook sighs

 

“I’m not used to it. I mean, I don’t go at those kinds of place because I’m not rich. To tell you honestly, this is how ordinary people like me go on a date”

 

“Really? You don’t watch movies?”

 

“We do, but only if we have extra cash. Why? Are you not happy going on a date like this?”

 

Jongwoon smiles

“This is my first time having a date like this. I never had a girlfriend and I don’t date around. That’s why I don’t know how to court a girl”

 

“How come you have a fiancée? You guys don’t go out?”

 

“We do. But we never date like this. Minnie loves to go at places where rich and elite people usually visit. I bet if I bring her here, that girl will freak out for sure”

 

Jongwoon laughs

 

“Where is she? Maybe she’s already looking for you”

 

Jongwoon shook his head

 

“She’s in Paris right now. She left awhile ago and she didn’t even tell me about it. Siwon was the one who inform me awhile ago”

 

Ryeowook just nods. She suddenly felt jealous towards Sungmin. Jongwoon notice Ryeowook’s sad face. He holds her hands

 

“I don’t know how I am going to explain everything to you”

 

“It’s ok. You don’t need to explain. I don’t have the right to know”

 

“Of course you have the right to know because you’re the girl that I love”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook making her blush

 

“Can we just stop talking about my life and my fiancée? I just don’t want to think about her and my ing life. I just want to be happy with you and forget my problematic and very chaotic life”

 

Ryeowook notice the tears that are forming in Jongwoon’s eyes. She holds his gorgeous face between her hands and smiles at him, taking all his worries away

 

“Ok. Let’s just enjoy this night together. But in order for us to enjoy our simple date, you need to smile for me first or else I’ll be feeling so sad and will just end up crying. But if you really want to see me crying then go ahead and keep on showing me that sad face and teary eyes of yours”

 

Ryeowook told Jongwoon. Ryeowook was shock when Jongwoon leans his forehead on hers. Their faces are close to each other, lips almost touch each other

 

“Can we just stay like this for the meantime?”

 

Jongwoon ask while caressing Ryeowook’s cheek

 

“Ok”

 

Ryeowook answers Jongwoon while blushing. Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook’s beautiful face. Seeing her makes him feel calm and being with her makes him feel so happy. Jongwoon’s world stops spinning whenever he’s with Ryeowook and he always cherish every seconds that he spends with her. Jongwoon hugs Ryeowook

 

“I love you Wookie”

 

Jongwoon whispers. Ryeowook didn’t answer because she doesn’t know if it’s right to tell Jongwoon that she loves him too

 

“Jongwoon…”

 

Jongwoon holds Ryeowook’s lips and smiles at her

 

“It’s ok not to answer me now. I just want you to know that I love you and I will fight for you”

Jongwoon suddenly frowns

 

“Yah! Why are you always opposing me? If you won’t stop complaining then I’m going to kiss you. You’re ruining the atmosphere Kim Ryeowook”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook while frowning. Jongwoon frown even harder when Ryeowook laughs

 

“What’s funny?”

 

Ryeowook shook her head and pinches Jongwoon’s nose gently

 

“Why are you being so grumpy all of a sudden?”

Ryeowook holds Jongwoon’s lips to stop him from talking

 

“Shhh, you’re being talkative Oppa. Arasso, I’m not going to complain anymore. Let’s not talk about those things. Let’s just enjoy this night. Is that ok with you?”

 

Jongwoon nods and smiles at Ryeowook. He saw someone selling a pink rose

 

“Wait for me here”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook. He stands up and run towards the vendor. He bought all the pink roses. He bows at the vendor before running towards Ryeowook. Jongwoon sits and gives Ryeowook the pink roses

 

“That’s for you. Actually I bought a bouquet for you, but I left it at Bien-etre since I’m planning to have dinner with you there. But since you change your mind then I can’t no longer give that bouquet to you. If you want then we can go there later to get that bouquet”

 

Ryeowook shook her head and smiles at the pink roses that she was holding

 

“It’s ok Oppa. These pink roses are enough and going with me in a place like this is enough for me. Thank you because rich men like you who don’t even goes in a place like this and eats street foods, try his best to enjoy a simple date like this”

 

“Try my best to enjoy? Correction, I didn’t try my best to enjoy. I actually enjoy it so much. I can enjoy life as long as I’m with you”

 

Jongwoon stands up and starts pulling Ryeowook

 

“Come Wookie. You promise me that you’re going to treat me the rice cake that you cooked for me awhile ago. I want to eat that food now. Let’s go”

Ryeowook stands up

 

“But you need to give me a piggy back ride because my feet are already aching because I’m not used on wearing heels”

Jongwoon smiles and removes his coat and gives it to Ryeowook

 

“Wear it”

“That’s because your dress is short. Men might see your…you know and I hate it when someone stares at your legs. Just wear it”

 

Ryeowook obeys Jongwoon and wears his coat. Jongwoon smiles and gives her a piggy back ride

 

“Wookie…”

 

“Hmmm?”

 

“Thank you. This is the best date that I ever had”

Ryeowook and Jongwoon were standing outside Ryeowook’s house

“See you tomorrow. You need to pack your things now because we’re leaving tomorrow for our vacation”

 

“Do we really need to go in a vacation?”

 

Jongwoon nods

 

“Please and beside we’re going with your family at Mouse Rabbit and with Siwon-ah. It will be fun”

 

Ryeowook nods while smiling

 

“Wookie…”

 

“Yes?”

 

Jongwoon stares at Ryeowook. He wants to kiss her lips, but he’s shy and he doesn’t want Ryeowook to think that he’s taking advantage on her. Ryeowook on the other hand was also staring at Jongwoon, waiting for him to kiss her

 

“Oppa?”

 

“Ah…”

 

Jongwoon scratches his head

 

“Go inside now. I’m going home now. Thanks for this night. I enjoy our date”

Jongwoon turns his back away

Jongwoon looks at Ryeowook

Ryeowook stares at Jongwoon while thinking if she should kiss him or not

 

“Yah! Kim Ryeowook, where on earth did you find a girl kissing a boy first? Don’t be so wild”

 

Ryeowook thought while staring at Jongwoon’s lips

She smiles at Jongwoon

 

“Drive safely. I’m going inside now. See you tomorrow”

 

Jongwoon nods

 

“Sleep tight”

 

“You too”

 

Jongwoon waves his hand. Ryeowook smiles at him and waves her hand before going inside her house. Jongwoon sighs and went inside his car

 

“What the hell am I doing? I supposed to kiss her, but…”

 

Jongwoon sighs

 

“Ok. I think I need to go home now and prepare my things for our flight tomorrow”

 

Jongwoon smiles and starts driving his car
