“Hello? Is this Cho Rae Ah?” A woman asked in the phone.

“Yes, this is she. Who is that on the line?” I asked.

“We’re calling from the mental hospital. A lady named Mara was recently admitted and your number was found in her jean pocket.” The lady replied.

“Mara? Mental hospital?” I repeated as I turned to Kyuhyun who was sitting at the end of the sofa in our living room.

“What?” He mouthed.

“Okay. Okay. I’ll go down as soon as possible.” I stuttered as I placed my mobile phone on the coffee table.

“Love, who was that?” Kyuhyun asked as he scooted over.

“It was from the mental hospital. M-Mara was admitted. The lady told me she was diagnosed with schizophrenia.”

I immediately stood up. “Where are you going?” Kyuhyun asked as he stood up as well.

“Baby, I got to go down and see her. I have to.”

“Why?” Kyuhyun asked as he fleeted to my side, taking my hand in to his.

“A few days ago, my mother told me about what happened after Marcus passed away, his family went into chaos. His mother committed suicide and his dad is in a mental hospital and now even Mara is in there!” I was never the one to forgive easily but this situation was different.

“But I don’t want you to go near her. I don’t want her to hurt you. I won't let her do anything to you.” Kyuhyun said, pulling me to him, kissing my head.

“You can always come with me.” I suggested.

She was being chained to the bed as I peered into through the small window on the door. She was mumbling, speaking in low tones to herself. She would daze around the room, looking at the ceiling most of the time and unknowingly let out a scream so piercing, it was annoying. My grip on Kyuhyun’s hand became tighter as he squeezed my hand as well, putting a protective arm over my shoulder.

“She keeps on murmuring words that are incoherent. Her condition is quite serious. She actually snuck out of another mental hospital once.” The senior nurse and counselor explained.

“Snuck out? Oh my gosh.” I whispered as Kyuhyun held me.

“Don’t worry; she isn’t going to hurt you ever again. She isn't going to go near you. I won't let her. I’ll protect you.” Kyuhyun spoke in a low voice at my ear.

“I heard her father is in the mental hospital too. Am I right?” I asked, thinking back to what my mother had told me.

“He recently passed away due to a heart attack.” The senior nurse said, shaking her head.

I froze. My heart sank. Mara was all alone now. She’d lost everyone.

As we walked out of the mental hospital, I couldn’t help but cry. There was just this feeling in my stomach that I couldn’t digest. “Baby?” I called, tugging on Kyuhyun’s hand.

“Yeah?”

"I feel so... uncomfortable, thinking about what happened." I said.

Kyuhyun quickly wiped my tears away gently. 

"Everything's fine now, she's under the watchful eye of the police as well. Come here."

“I-I love you.” I said, wiping my tears away. 

Kyuhyun crushed me gently into his embrace, my short hair. “I love you too. And you know that.”

“Let’s get out of this place. I’m bringing you out for a date.” He said as he pulled away, tilting his head to kiss my lips.

Five Years Later

“Promise You by Cho Kyuhyun!” The radio shouted.

“Isn’t that daddy?” A little voice sprang out behind the kitchen counter.

I turned around in the kitchen to be greeted by our son, Shin. He just turned five and is a super hyperactive child. After that day where Kyuhyun said he wanted to create our family, we worked hard in fulfilling that dream and thankfully, I got pregnant with Shin! The moment he entered our lives, it was like everything changed, I finally had the chance to carry my own child after bearing him for nine months! Shin was such a bundle of joy.

Do Jin and Kim MI got married in the same year that Shin was born. Do Jin propose to her at the annual yoga event and he surprised her by being the special guest at the annual event with a ring and a bouquet of flowers arranged by yours truly.

It’s been five years already, and having Shin was the second best thing that ever happened in my life. 

Of course, the best thing is meeting Kyuhyun and getting married to him. Thank goodness Kyuhyun is able to calm him down with matters I know not.

 I picked him up and placed him on a high stool. “Oh yes, that’s a song daddy wrote for mummy.” I said as I went to the fridge and got Shin a packet of milk.

“Thanks mummy! You told me that alot of times already. Daddy wrote this song for you because he loves you. Why doesn't daddy write a song for me?" Shin pouted. 

"Oh dear, is our Shin getting jealous?" I asked. "You do know that your daddy named his latest album after your name?"

Shin just grinned.

"What time will daddy be home? I’ve got something to ask him.” Shin said as he poked the straw into the milk packet.

“Why not you ask mummy? Maybe mummy will be able to help you?” I said as I stood in front of him.

“I need daddy to be home then I will ask the two of you.” He said before on his straw.

“Oh? You need the both of us to be present?”

All Shin was to nodded his head in a cute manner.

“Come here, give mummy a hug.” I said as I couldn’t contend my excitement towards my child; he was adorable and well liked.

Shin immediately stretched out his arms and I walked closer to him and hugged him.”That’s mummy’s little boy.”

“Mummy, after finishing my milk packet, can I play computer games? Daddy taught me how to play starcraft the other day. I want to practice.” Gosh, what has Kyuhyun been teaching his son? Starcraft? Seriously?

“You’re so like your daddy.” I said as I ruffled his hair. “Mmm, After you’re done with the milk, mummy will play with you.”

“Yay!” He squealed.

“I’m home!” Kyuhyun’s voice boomed through the front door.

“Daddddddddddddy!” Shin’s voice echoed into the living room as he ran for his father.

“Shin!” Kyuhyun greeted him with the same level of enthusiasm, carrying him into his arms. “Hey there, young man! How was your day? Did you take care of mummy when daddy was at work?”

“Yes, I did! Mummy and I heard your song on the radio again!” Shin happily told his father about his day’s events.

“Really? Which one?"

"Promise You!"

"That’s nice.” Kyuhyun said “Where’s your mummy?”

“Mummy said she was going to bed to rest. She seems tired.” Shin answered as Kyuhyun carried him to the master bedroom.

He placed Shin at the corner of the bed before sitting at the edge of the bed as well. “Love?” He called.

I turned around to see my son and Kyuhyun staring back at me. “How’re you feeling?” Kyuhyun asked.

“I’m fine.” I said but Kyuhyun was faster. He quickly placed a hand on my belly and placed his ear on it.

“Oh Hyun Ah, please be well, your mummy needs to rest. Please be a good girl.” He said as he rubbed my belly.

I am pregnant again, with a girl this time round.  Kyuhyun was bent on expanding the family as fast as he could and he was rewarded when we went for the ultrasound scan. He was so thrilled it was going to be a girl that after the check-up, we went shopping immediately. Anything that was pink in colour, he just took it and threw into the trolley. I had to stop him because children grow up fast, after a few months, they won’t be able to wear their old clothes anymore.

He didn’t care. He continued piling the stuff.

“She was very well behaved in the morning but after you left, she started to act up.” I said as I placed my hand over his on my belly as I sat up, leaning against the headboard.

“Ahhh. Hyun Ah is such a daddy’s girl, isn’t she?” Kyuhyun smiled as he placed a kiss on my belly.

“I want to touch Hyun Ah toooo!” Shin came crawling up to me, also placing his hand on my belly.

Kyuhyun and I laughed, looking at Shin being fascinated.

“Oh?!” I jolted.

“She kicked?” Kyuhyun said, putting his arms around me.

“Yeah, she did.” I said, pulling Shin’s hand to the area on the side of my belly.

“When is Hyun Ah coming out?” He asked, tilting his head to the side, puzzled by the whole cycle of reproduction.

“Shin, you have to wait for another four more months before your sister comes out.”Kyuhyun said as he brought Shin on to his lap.

“You were like that too when you were in your mummy’s womb.”He continued.

“I moved around like that too?” Shin asked.

“Yeah.” I nodded.

“Oh Shin, just now you wanted to ask a question right? Now your daddy’s home. You can ask the question now.”

“Oh yeahhh. I want to ask how did daddy and mummy meet each other?” Shin smiled.

I looked at Kyuhyun as he looked back at me, squeezing my shoulders as I snuggle closer to him. “Well, daddy and mummy met on a typical afternoon just around the corner of the blood donation center that grandma works at.” Kyuhyun said as he kept his gaze on me.

“The giving blood place?” Shin repeated.

“Yes, that’s right. Your daddy bumped into me and he was so rude.” I said as I turned my attention to Shin.

“I was running away then!” Kyuhyun defended himself.

“Running away?” Shin mouthed.

“From your grandma. Your daddy was a bad boy. Don’t be like him.” I said as I pinched Shin’s cheek.

“Hey! I was a very obedient child!” He insisted.

“Your daddy sang to me at the blood donation center because mummy was in pain.” I explained.

“Wowwwww! I want to sing to mummy too when mummy is in pain! I want to be like daddy!” Shin clapped his hand excitedly.

“You can sing to Hyun Ah when she comes out.” Kyuhyun said. “Only I can sing to your mummy.”

I laughed at the way Kyuhyun becomes jealous so easily by his own son.

“Shin. You can sing to mummy anytime you want. Don’t listen to what your daddy just said.” I teased.

“Yay!”

“How can you do that? Only I am allowed to sing to you!” Kyuhyun whined.

“Don’t be so petty over something like that! He is your son.” I sighed sarcastically.

“But I’m your husband!” Kyuhyun protested.

“That you are.” I said, leaning in to kiss him on the lips.

“Mummy and daddy, I love you!” Shin shouted as he saw us kissing. We broke away immediately and smiled as we both kiss Shin on either side of his face. “We love you too, very much.” Kyuhyun said as he ruffled Shin’s hair.

One Year Later.

“Good morning, love.” Kyuhyun whispered as he kissed my shoulder.

“It’s so early.” I whined.

 He didn't say anything as he planted kisses all over my shoulder blade, sneaking his arms around my waist under the blanket, pulling me closer as my back leaned against his chest.

"I have something to tell you." His lips grazed my ear. 

"Mmmm?" I mumbled. 

"You were so amazing; giving birth to Hyun Ah."

“Really? The nurses told me you looked like you were going to cry.” I laughed.

“I did not!”

“Yes, you did.”

“Did not.”

“I’m not going to argue with you. I’m going to check on Hyun Ah.” I said as I lifted the blanket but Kyuhyun held onto me tightly.

“Baby.”

“Morning kiss from the wife first!” He announced.

I sighed. TUrning my head around and leaning in to peck his cheek before getting out of bed  and grabbing Kyuhyun’s t-shirt.

“That’s mine.” He complained.

I stuck out a tongue at him and walked out of the room.

Bending over the crib to carry my lovely and delicate daughter in my arms as I swayed from side to side, thinking back now; it seemed like a miracle.

I have two beautiful children and I couldn’t be more happy.

A pair of arms slithered round my waist as Kyuhyun stood behind me and Shin was holding onto my leg.

“When did you wake up?” I asked, astonished that he was awake at such a timing.

“Daddy woke me up.” He said rubbing his eye. “Is Hyun Ah awake too?” He asked.

“Baby! Why did you wake him up?" "Isn't it nice that we have each other?" Kyuhyun said as he patted Shin's head.

"She’s sleeping.” I squatted down as Kyuhyun removed his arms. Bringing Hyun Ah to Shin’s eye level, “Come, Shin, open your arms out. Carry your younger sister.” I suggested.

“Okay!” He answered gleefully. Very steadily, he carried Hyun Ah as Kyuhyun and I watched.

Shin swayed a little bit as he took on the weight of his younger sister. “Hyun Ah!” He called.

“She’s sleeping.” Kyuhyun said as he hugged me again, watching with pride.

“No, she’s waking up!.” Shin exclaimed as Hyun Ah opened her eyes slowly.

“Hello Hyun Ah! I’m your older brother! You’re really pretty. I love you.” Shin said, being a proud older brother.

“That’s lovely, Shin.” I said.

Hyun Ah was smiling as she looked on to the figure of her older brother.

“Thank you, love.” Kyuhyun breathed.

“Hmmmm?” I waltzed around to look at Kyuhyun as Shin continued to play with his younger sister.

“Thank you for being with me and giving me such a wonderful family.” He kissed my cheek.

“No more soccer team family?” I asked, lifting my eyebrows.

“Oh that offer is still valid? I don’t mind.” He grinned mischievously.

“Gosh.” I wrapped my arms around his neck. “ Whatever you want, baby. As long as we’re together, making memories forever.” I murmured to him as I kissed him back.

 “I’ll hold you up to that, love. Soccer team family, here we come!”

What can be a more better time to end the story other than Valentine's Day! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! I have finally ended this story! It has been an amazing journey since 'A Stranger & A Packet Of Blood'. I didn't expect myself to create a full story sequel. But I'm quite happy that I did as you readers are wonderful!
