''Hey you there!''

I fasten my pace but unfortunately I drop my book, bending quickly to pick it up but not quick enough as a hand reaches the book first. I straighten myself and see the girl with the red coat holding it.

''If it weren't for this book, you wouldn't have stopped,'' the girl exhales, handing me the book back.

''Thanks,'' I managed to say.

''My name's Mina and I'm new here,'' the girl says, reaching out to shake my hand. I cringe making her slowly lower her hand down. ''Uhm, I was wondering whether you could guide me around the school? I never thought it would be this huge!'' she says. 

I stay quiet for a while and finally say; ''Find someone else to be your guide, you wouldn't like to get to know me, and I wouldn't like to get to know you.''

I walk away, leaving behind a puzzled girl named Mina. I throw the book into a trashcan and head to the dorm, I sit down at my desk and look out through the window at the afternoon sun, feeling troubled as thoughts are starting to swirl around my mind.
