The next day, 5PM

*Seung-hyun

As I enter the dorm and walk into my room, I find a stuffed teddy bear holding a card on my nightstand. I hesitate for a while, thinking if I should open it or not. Giving in, I walk towards it, reaching out my hand to grab the card, I slowly open it and start to read;

Dear Seung-hyun,

No words can describe my appreciation and gratitude of what you did. If you weren't there, I don't know what would have happened to me. You might be thinking how I found out it was you, thanks to Young-bae, he found your book on the floor, and we assumed it was you. Even though you're mysterious and insensitive, you've proven to me that you have a warm heart made of gold. You're very unpredictable, Seung-hyun, so that's why I want to meet you outside on the porch at 6PM and just hang out, as a way of saying thanks.

I tear the card apart and throw it into the trashcan, covering my face with my hands. Why did I get involved? I grab a book out of my drawer and lay on my bed reading.

An hour and a half passes and there's a knock on my door, I ignore it and continue reading. The person won't budge and keeps on knocking, I give in and get up indolently. I open the door and see an aggrieved Mina. ''What?'' I ask, getting annoyed.

''Why didn't you meet me on the porch?'', Mina asks bitterly.

''I'm busy,'' I lie, starting to close the door. She puts her foot in to block the closing, I glare at her.

''You're lying, you've been in here the whole day reading your book,'' she says. ''At least you could have come and told me you were busy, instead of ignoring me. Don't worry, you can repay me by taking a walk with me,'' she says happily. I frown, about to say something as she suddenly grabs my arm and pulls me out of my room, coercing me.

''You have to accept my gratitude, Seung-hyun,'' Mina pleads. I stare at the wall for a while; ''30 minutes,'' I negotiate.

''1 hour,'' she demands. I turn to go back to my room.

''Oh fine! 30 minutes then!'' she scowls. I give a quick smile, thanking that she didn't notice me doing it.

''Can you loosen your grip on my arm?'' I ask.

''Sorry, I didnt' notice,'' she lets go of my arm.

As we walk out of the exit door, we notice the sun starting to set. I dig my hands into my pockets, admiring the view secretly.

''The guys... who tried to hurt me are in the hospital, they won't be returning as they got expelled and were reported to the police,'' Mina says silently.

''They deserve it,'' I blurt out, not meaning to say that. She gives me a bright smile, I imagine myself facepalming. Mina bends to pick some dandelions. While I observe her, I get this strange feeling again, it doesn't disappear either. I try to disregard it but I can't, the feeling is too strong.

I haven't felt like this since the incident.
