Time stood still as U-Kiss heard the first beat of the song blast through the speakers. Their first performance for the night was “Neverland.” The crowd sang along to the chorus, giving U-Kiss energy to execute perfect moves for their choreography. Once the song was over, they immediately launched into “Amazing,” and then “Believe.”

                “Okay, this is the moment you all have been waiting for. We’re about to perform our new digital single for you all. Again, this is the first time anyone has heard this. Are you excited?” Kevin asked the crowd after they were done performing “Believe.” Once again they were greeted with a deafening scream.

                “I hope you all enjoy this! The name of this song is called ‘Cinderella.’ Here it goes!” Hoon announced as the music started to play.

                “Hey, girl I want you to be my Cinderella. Wae non iroke ta-oreu-nun nal wae molla…” Kevin sang the first line.

                “I want your love, yeah yeah. I want your love…” Soohyun sang as he glanced at Jayne. He had to make it inconspicuous so that others wouldn’t notice, but Jayne was looking right at him and she instantly blushed.

                “Yeah yeah yeah yeah…” Kevin sang again as they danced along to the song.

               The song ended and the crowd erupted into a tremendous applause. Screams, squeals, and wolf whistles were heard vibrating toward  UKiss. Isak came back out to the stage once more.

                “Wow…I am just in awe. Soohyun, this is an amazing song! So what is the title of it again?” Isak asked.

                “Cinderella.” Soohyun said.

                “Since you wrote the lyrics, do you mind giving a little background on what it’s about and why you wrote it?” Isak asked as the crowd quieted down to hear his explanation.

                “Well, the meaning behind it relates a lot to the fairytale. The girl obviously is someone who is living a normal life and meets the man of her dreams; her ‘prince charming’ if you will. Although the ‘prince charming’ may come from a different lifestyle or background, it doesn’t mean Cinderella can’t live happily ever after with him. So, he’s saying to her ‘Even when it’s past midnight, I won’t let you go/
Don’t worry about anything, I just want you/What more is there to hide? Stop hiding/Because I’m the person/who knows you better than anyone else.’ “ Soohyun said.

                “Such beautiful lyrics! Well, we look forward to information on how to download this song!” Isak said as the guys nodded.

                “As soon as we have that information available, we will post it on our website, Twitter, do a YouTube video…trust me, we will find ways for our KissMes to get their hands on it.” Dongho said as the crowd cheered. The guys waved goodbye to the crowd and made heart shapes with their hands. They blew kisses as they exited to the backstage and went back to their waiting room to recover from their performance.

                “Fantastic job, guys! I can tell everyone loved ‘Cinderella!’ I think we can really make a strong digital single out of it.” Their manager said as he walked in to greet them.

                “Thanks, manager hyung!” AJ said as they grabbed bottles of water and gulped them down.

                “Do you think Jayne and Jenna would be able to come here to see us?” Soohyun asked as Eli agreed. Their manager looked at the others and they didn’t seem to mind.

                “I can see if they want to come. I know there are a few more acts before the show is over. I’ll go up and see what I can do.” The manager said and left. All of the guys sat in the salon-style chairs and had their makeup removed. Their bodies were glistening with sweat from the heat of the stage lights, as well as their choreography. Soohyun walked to the bathroom and took some paper towels and made it damp to cool off his face and neck. Upon feeling a bit cleaner, he exited the bathroom just in time to see Jayne, Jenna, and the manager walk in to the room. Jayne immediately ran over and bombarded Soohyun in a hug, nearly knocking him over. He laughed heartily and planted out his right foot to keep his balance.

                “Hey, Jayne. So, what did you think of our performance?” Soohyun asked after he withdrew from the hug.

                “Are you kidding me? I am in awe right now. You guys were amazing! Did you really write the song, ‘Cinderella?’ “ Jayne asked.

                “I did. I wrote it for you, Jayne. I know we both had a lot to think about this past week. I meant every word in those lyrics. When I was describing to Isak what the song meant, all of those words were for you. Now listen, Jayne, I’m not perfect. No one is. I know that this is a different relationship given the circumstances. A lot more is factored into this with things that can affect the relationship. Please, Jayne, do me the honor of being my Cinderella. I will be your Prince Charming, you have my word! You would make me the happiest man on Earth. What do you say?” Soohyun said as he held her hands gently.

                “You’d want to be with lil’ old me?” Jayne asked quietly.

                “Absolutely! You are the best thing that’s happened to me, Jayne.” Soohyun said as Jayne blushed furiously.

                “Yes.” Jayne said as Soohyun stood in shock.

                “What did you say?” Soohyun asked to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.

                “I said, ‘yes.’ That is the answer you want to hear, right?” Jayne laughed as Soohyun did as well. He was so happy that he reached out and pulled her lips to his, sealing her answer with a passionate kiss. Her arms draped loosely around his neck and his wrapped around her waist. He squeezed her to him and let go when he heard the guys clapping and cheering. Forgetting that they weren’t in a private place, Soohyun started to get a bit pink in the cheeks. He took her hand and brought her over to the others.

                “Well, there’s an announcement I’d like to make. Jayne has agreed to be my girlfriend.” Soohyun said as everyone gave their congratulations. Jenna hugged Jayne and the guys gave hugs and friendly back pats to their leader.

                “We’re so happy for the two of you!” Kevin said as Jayne and Soohyun grinned.

                “Thank you, it means a lot to me!” Jayne said as Eli wrapped her in a hug.

                “Welcome to the family, noona.” Eli said as the other guys took turns giving her a hug.

                “Wait, she’s a noona?” Dongho asked as Jayne shyly nodded.

                “I’m everyone’s noona…” Jayne said meekly.

                “Can you cook?” Dongho asked.

                “Maybe…why?” Jayne asked coyly.

                “I don’t care how old you are, as long as you can make my tummy happy.” Dongho said as everyone burst out laughing.

                “So what’s up with you and Jenna?” Kiseop asked Eli. Everyone focused their attention on the two of them.

                “Yah! We just met last week. Give it time. Although, Jenna, I would like to let you know that I do like you a lot.” Eli said with a shy grin on his face.

                “I like you, too.” Jenna said back.

                “So, what’s the plan for the rest of the night?” Hoon asked as everyone shrugged.

                “How about we go out and celebrate! We have lots to be thankful for!” AJ said as they all agreed. Their manager got the company van ready and soon they were off to a local restaurant to enjoy each other’s company as one big, happy family.
