It was already late for a night to be called when Mr. Seo got home. Just a few more minutes then it is midnight. He was a bit drunk but still on his right senses. He took a few shots after the restaurant closed. He let the liquor to ease his mind a bit and for him to clear his mind. He passed through the living room and tosses his jacket to the couch. The lights were already off so he made enough amount of noise for them not to be woken up.

He took his seat on the couch behind when a voice startled him.

“Appa? Is that you”

Seohyun called while grasping for the light switch

“Oh, Joohyun, why are you still awake?”

“I just grab some water”

she softly said and sat across him

Silence enveloped them for awhile before Mr.Seo asked her that made him a bit startled.

“When are you meeting him?”

he suddenly asked that made Joohyun felt uneasy

“Appa….”

“When are you going to met Kyuhyun?”

he asked again in a much firmer tone

She was startled by the way he asked. She doesn’t know how to answer him for she was afraid to make him upset. She needs to find the best words for him.

“Appa… Tomorrow afternoon. Jae was the…” she was cut off by him

“You were the one who scheduled that?”

“Anni appa, we… I mean I settled to have it the weekends next week but Jaehyun forced me to call him and he said he would like him to meet him tomorrow. Appa, I can cancel it if you..” she was cut again

“Where do you plan to meet?” he asked looking at her daughter intently while Seohyun was having a hard time to breathe

“Appa, we will not go tomorrow. I will just explain to Jaehyun”

“Where are you going tomorrow?” he ignored her words

“Appa..”
