Chapter 12: Come Out
A week had gone by with just acting, on Lu Han and Henry’s part, but Henry was slowly growing annoyed and mad at Luo.
Right now Zhou Mi was out with Luo and Lu Han was out with Sehun, Chanyeol, Leeteuk and Kangin at the park, so Henry was all alone in the apartment. That gave hime time to think about everything and if he was finally going to make the move and tell Zhou Mi about Luo.
“Oh my god, what am I going to tell Zhou Mi? should I even tell him? Luo is just using Lu Han to get to Zhou Mi. I don’t care if he makes me leave, but he will not do that to Lu Han. I don’t care if I have no right to Lu Han as he does but I will protect Lu HanHenry sat there thinking about how to go about it for a few more hours.
“Argh!” Henry burried his hands into his hair, gripping it as if her wanted to pull his hair out. “I just don’t know how to tell Zhou Mi!” he shouted as he walked into his room in an attempt to calm himself down then walked out as he repeated what he had said before.
“But he will not do that to Lu Han.”
“Do what to Lu Han?”
Henry’s eyes widened as he heard Zhou Mis voice ask him the question; a question that would lead Henry to tell Zhou Mi all.
“Huh?” was all Henry could muster in his nervousness, “I mean when did you get back?” It was then that Henry saw Lu Han, who immediately ran to Henry.
“Gege…”
Henry could tell that Lu Han was worried because he knew what Henry had meant.
“I got in when I heard you say ‘But he will not do that to Lu Han.’ Henry, who is he and do what to Lu Han?”
“Zhou Mi…I want to say but I am just worried you will get mad and/or wont believe me…”
Zhou Mi stepped closer to the younger, but still kept his distance so he wouldn’t make Henry feel uncomfortable.
“Henry…just tell me. I‘m sure it wont make me mad at you. The person yes but not you.”
‘But you don’t know who it is yet…’
“Well…the he is…Luo. When you 1st brought him here a few weeks ago, when you asked me to ask Lu Han and Luo how much they wanted of meat I walked in on them. Luo said he didn’t care for Lu Han at all and all he wanted was you. He said that directly to Lu Han. I tried to intervene, tell him not to do that or I would go immediately to you...”
~Flaskback~
Luo‘s eyes narrowed quite a bit as he spoke slowly and carefully, venom dripping from his words.
“What did you hear?”
“Everything. From how you could careless about Lu Han to how your just using him so you can claim Zhou Mi as yours.”
“And what are you going to do about it?”
“Are you dumb? I am going to tell Zhou Mi what you are doing. Plain. And. Simple,” he answered, pronouncing each word of the last sentence with certainty and strength.
~End Flashback~
“But he actually got to me and convinced me not to tell you right away. I kept asking Lu Han here and there if he seemed to have changed but it was always a no. And he threatened me. That he would have told you things about me that weren’t true and kick me out.”
~Flaskback~
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
Henry crossed his arms. “And why not?”
“You really don’t think I could get you kicked out of here?”
Henry visibly tensed even if he tried not to show it, he failed at hiding it.
“Oh really? How?”
Luo Leaned close to Henry’s ear and whispered, “Simply. By just telling him things you supposedly did but didn’t like you recklessly took care of Lu Han, you flirted with me, and your just being his friend so you can get a free room and food. Your still just a random stranger to them, someone who random was found by Zhou Mi, nothing else.”
“None of that is true and you know it. He knows it too.”
“Fine don’t believe me but believe this: you tell Zhou Mi anything about this and your done for. I am very good at getting what I want so don’t get in my way you little punk.
Your life will become a living nightmare.”
“…” Henry said nothing but slightly nodded, but only after seeing Lu Han’s scared face and eyes after he heard about Luo possibly making Henry leave for good.
~End Flashback~
"So I didn't tell you cause I saw Lu Han's face and it was scared and sad when he heard Luo threaten to get me kicked out. And Zhou Mi," Henry slowly sat Lu Han down even if he tried to stay in his arms, fearing what would come next. "I don't think Luo is right, for you or Lu Han. He doesn't like Lu Han, he just wants you. Zhou Mi you have to see."
"I do see something."
Henry's eyes widened, he liked the phrase he just said but the way he said it...
"Shenma?"
"Henry I want to believe you but I can't. I've seen Luo act so loving toward Lu Han and Lu Han seems to really like him. And he hasn't told me otherwise and we made the promise that I he didn't lurk some one..."
"That he would tell you. I know Zhou Mi," Henry cut him off, "But have you thought that maybe Lu Han doesn't like Luo and just hasn't told you cause he wants to see his dad happy?! Yes, I don't like him but that's not why I am telling you this!"
Henry didn't mean to yell at Zhou Mi but he was so frustrated with the man in front of him. But he was willing to take all of Zhou Mi's anger. As long as it means that he didn't know it was Lu Han that told him how much he hated Luo, how mean Luo was to him when they were alone, and how much he wasn't right for his dad but he was worried to say something cause Zhou Mi really seemed to like Luo.
"Henry! Stop! I'll admit that because of you I know why Lu Han hates me dating but we made the promise! And I know he wouldn't break a promise."
"Baba..."
"Lu Han don't," Henry spoke as he put his hands on the small boy's shoulders, squeezing them lightly.
"But I..."
"But Henry, why don't you like him?"
"Because I've seen him be mean to Lu Han and almost make him cry!"
"Henry you are wrong! Are you just scared?"
Henry just scoffed. "Scared? Of what? Luo? No because he can't do anything!"
"No of him taking your place with Lu Han. And he can't do anything but I can."
"I am not scared he will take my place with Lu Han cause I'm just Lu Han'd gege! Open you eyes for once Zhou Mi!"
"I have and everything bad about Luo has come from you and your opinions not Lu Han! It's you with the problem. Luo said you might..."
"Wait! Luo said something about me? About his situation?!"
"Yes. He said you seemed to develop a hatred for him based off of nothing!"
"And you believe him?!"
"Yes," Zhou Mi spoke dangerously calm.
"Zhou Mi your so blind!"
"Me?! Says the one who only is wanting to have his point be right! Maybe it would be best for you to just leave Henry!"
Henry's eyes went very wide and he couldn't help but tear up. Luo really had gotten him thrown out and when he looked at Lu Ham finally, his heart was demolished. Lu Han already had thick tears running down his face while looking at the ground.
"Lulu..." Henry started as he also started to bend down to Lu Han's level but Zhou Mi's sharp voice stopped him in his track.
"Don't."
Henry stood back up as he just watched Lu Han cry his heart out. Henry's couldn't help but feel his heart break to, because of the state Lu Han was in and the face that Zhou Mi wouldn't believe him or even think that he might be right. He knew he had to protect Lu Han and this is what it cost.
"Fine. Let me grab just a few things and I'll be gone and you can be happy with Luo."
Henry quickly went to his room, old room, grabbed a few pictures and clothes and as he walked out and over to the door, sad goodbye to the both of them and then walked out the apartment.
Zhou Mi took a few deep breaths before he went over to comfort Lu Han but the reaction he got from him would have been called violent but since he was just screaming and not hitting, he couldn't.
"Meiyou!!" Lu Han looked Zhou Mi dead in the eye. "You promised! You said Henry gege would never leave! You said you wouldn't let him but what did you do baba!!? YOU made HIM leave! How could you!!? I hate you!!"
And with that Lu Han ran to him room and locked it, leaving a shocked Zhou Mi, alone in the middle of the living room.

2 days had passed after Zhou Mi told Henry to leave and things haven't gotten better. Zhou Mi didn't know where Henry had went to, and as much as he hated to admit it, he was worried cause Henry wasn't from here and didn't really have any money to get him an apartment. Plus Lu Han was still shutting him, and Luo especially, out and was quiet most of the time now. And it wouldn't be till after he picked Lu Han up from school that he would learn where Henry was at.
"Hannie?"
Lu Han and Chanyeol were walking out of there preschool to where Zhou Mi and Leeteuk were waiting for them when Chanyeol wanted to asks why Lu Han had been so quiet the past 2 days.
"Cause baba made Henry gege leave after he promised. He is gone forever."
"No he isn't," Chanyeol said with a confused face which cause both to stop.
"Yeolie, what do you mean?"
"Uncle Henry is staying in a spare room we have while he is looking for a job so he can get his own apartment."
Lu Han was shocked to here that his Henry gege was still here and just across the hall from him.
'I need to get Henry gege! No I need to see him first.'
"Thanks Channie. Let go to our dads now ok?"
Once the 4 got into the car and were heading back to there apartments, Lu Han was planning on how he was going to get into Chanyeol's apartment so he could see Henry.
'Should I ask to play with Channie? Or should I just run in there? Ah I don't know!'
"Where here boys," Leeteuk told the 2 small boys as he turned and unbuckled the 2, smiling.
"Ne."
Chanyeol and Lu Han ran up the steps and into the building excited, one for being home and the other for being able to find and see Henry.
Lu Han tried not to race up the 2 sets of stairs to Chanyeol's apartment.
'Because it might cause Uncle Leeteuk to tell baba that Henry gege is there.'
Finally a there apartment doors, he couldn't help but be anxious so he slightly bounced up and down while waiting. Leeteuk opened his door 1st and Lu Han saw a glimpse of Henry sitting on the couch, Zhou Mi would have seen him cause he was busy unlocking their door. So he took the opportunity to act and ran into the other apartment.
The sudden motion startled Leetuek and he wondered what Lu Han was doing till he realized Henry was in there and the boy must have seen him.
"Henry gege!!!" Lu Han yelled as he ran right into Henry's arms, startling the young man but quickly realizing who it was.
'Lu Han…'
By then Zhou Mi had hear Lu Han scream Henry gege and turned to Leeteuk for an answer as he saw said man sitting on Leeteuk's couch.
"He asked to stay here till he got a job and could leave for good."
"H-Henry gege..." Lu Han spoke again but way softer because she started to cry, hard. "W-why? Y-you can't l-leave..."
"Lulu but you know I can't stay with you."
"B-but why with U-uncle L-Leeteuk?"
"He saw me crying after I left the apartment and invited me in. He said I could stay till I found a job so I can my own place."
Henry felt Lu Han's grip suddenly tighten on him as he hurried his face further into his chest.
"You h-have a p-place already..."
"I used to baby, used to. And I will still be yor Henry gege..."
"Meiyou!"
Chanyeol, Leeteuk, Zhou Mi and Henry were all startled by Lu Han's outburst.
"Mwo?"
Lu Han released Henry and turned, sitting on his lap now, and faced Zhou Mi.
"Baba Henry gege lied! What he said was true but it was me who said it to him. He was protecting me!"
Henry leaned forward and whispered in Lu Han's ear, "Lu Han you don't..."
"No. I have to in order to get you back and make you and baba friends again so you can come back and live with us, where you deserve to be! I am doing this," Lu Han turned back to his baba, "The night Henry gege said that he told me his intentions, to use me to get to you! And i told Henry gege everything he did from then on! He was mean to me! but only when it was just us and he was constantly threatened to make Henry gege leave. He only did that when it was the 3 of us without you or you in another room."
"You heard that Lu Han?"
Zhou Mi finally he threatened you Henry? Multiple times?"
Henry finally made eye contact with Zhou Mi.
"Shi."
Zhou Mi walked next to Henry an sat down next to him, it was a little awkward between the 2.
"Lu Han, do you like Luo?"
"Aniyo. He is to mean."
Zhou Mi just sighed and nodded.
"Henry?"
Henry turned and noticed Zhou Mi looking at him.
"Yifan Henry. I feel horrible now. Cause I can tell Lu Han isn’t lying because when he lies…”
“He stutters,” Henry finished for him.
“Yeah but I guess I shouldn’t have doubted you, no. I know I shouldn’t have but I guess I was just hoping he was the guy I thought he was and he isn’t. He lied. Henry…” Zhou Mi bent his head down, looking at his hands in his lap out of shame, “If you can find it in you, please forgive me and come back to where you belong. With us. I’ve said it before and I meant it when we both need you. I am going to talk to Luo and tell him he cant do this to you and especially Lu Han. I was an idiot.”
Hands. that’s what Zhou Mi felt on his hands as he once again opened his eyes, raising his head from the hands on his to the face of who they belonged to.
“Henry…”
“Zhou Mi its ok. I se your very regretful and I forgive you. If you want me to come back to the apartment…”
“YES!”
All laughed at Lu Han.
“I will come back without hesitation. Ok?”
“I would like that.”
Both mean leaned in and hugged each other, soon bringing in Lu Han into the hug until Zhou Mi felt a hit on his arm. He turned and say it was Chanyeol.
“Chanyeol?”
“You stupid Uncle Zhou Mi. No more being mean to Uncle Henry or I will come after you.”
“He, ok Channie. If I ever do again you can beat me up ok?”
“Ne!”
The 4 started to laugh as Leeteuk watched them, with a very amused smile on his face as he noticed the 2 adults.
‘There is totally something going on between the 2.’
