(Amber’s POV)

“Noona! Amber noona!” After 9 hours of flight from China to Seoul, it’s already late evening in Korea. I was walking out of the arrival section of the airport looking out for JongIn’s figure when a hyper voice came jumping into my ears.

I looked towards where the voice came from and saw a man with dark skin wearing a cap and sunglasses waving and jumping excitedly at me with a wide grin spreading on his face. Then I saw a few other guys wearing something similar and was hiding their face away from him.

I walked towards him and smacked his duck cap down his head, “Yah, Kkamjong! This is really embarrassing.”

“Noona! Let me carry your bag.” Without even letting me speak, he already gotten my bag from my back.

“Noona is still the same. No big luggage like normal girls but a small bag. Don’t girls need a lot of things?” JongIn commented while carrying my bag.

“Well, your noona is just too special to be compared to normal girls.” I said jokingly.

“You don’t even blush when saying such things?” He commented.

“What’s with you and Kris saying the same thing? Keke!” I chuckled as I remembered how Kris said the exact same things to me.

“Kris… said the same thing?”

“Ya!” Now, I’m kind of missed Kris… I wonder what he was doing in Japan...

“Yah~ our dongsaeng really forgotten about us when his noona is here.” A boy who looked total stranger to me came towards us together with the other 4 more boys.

“JongIn, who are they?” I whispered elbowing him.

“Arh… They are my hyungs and dongsaeng in the debut group.” He explained and introduced me to them. “Hyungs, Sehun… this is my noona, Amber.”

“Annyeong! Nice to meet you! I’m the leader Suho.”

“I’m Baekhyun.” The boy with dark and slight curled hair bowed with a cute smile.

“Annyeong, My name is Chanyeol.”

“I’m D.O, you can call me Kyungsoo, noona!” He offered a handshake to me and I returned him without thinking.

“I’m the maknae, Sehun!” The last one smiled.

“Wah… Annyeong! I can’t believe I’m meeting you guys at one go. Handsome boys you guys are. Nice to meet you! I’m Amber!” I laughed.

“Noona, we knew you way before we even meet you.” The boy named Sehun said with a smile, which earned JongIn’s a hissed.

“Really?” I raised an eyebrow.

“Kai said a lot about you, noona.” The giant with a surprising deep voice, named Chanyeol added on.

“Alright… Let’s leave this place before anyone recognize any of us.” JongIn quickly stopped the conversation abruptly, which made me look at him suspiciously.

But I let it off easily since I knew that if we stay here any longer, their identities might get exposed.

“Let’s all go to Kai’s house together.” Baekhyun punched his fist in the air as he suggested and earned himself himself a smack by their leader, Suho.

“Hyung! Why did you smack me?!”

“Don’t you remember that we have practices?”

“We do?”

“Of course, we have! Let’s go! Kai, you could come later.” Then Suho dragged Baekhyun and other members together with him leaving both Kai and me dumbfounded.

“Your group mates are weird.” I commented as I saw Suho pulling the boys like a mother out of the airport.

“Er… They are… Noona, let’s get your things back to my house first…” Kai smiled awkwardly as the two of us left the airport to the luxurious car that was waiting outside.

(Kai’s POV)

I had asked the maids in my house to prepare dinner and now we were sitting together peacefully eating. It’s really been a long time ever since the two of us had chatted. It’s like we had went back in time, when we were still young and I’m just a small kid who needed his noona to protect him.

Everything would have been better for me if only, if only...she was not engaged to the man named, Kris.

She had been chatting a lot on Kris. How he had been so annoying when she met him. How he challenged her a 3 months deal and how she found herself feeling something special for him bit by bit.

I was jealous but I was hurt more than just feeling jealous. Knowing that the girl I like for so long, even longer than that man had been taken, I couldn't help but feeling life is unfair.

I wanted to confess to her… I wanted to tell her my feelings but I knew exactly the answer she would give me.

“Do you know that Kris actually scares a lot of his subordinates off? He was-”

“Noona… did you tell him that you were here?” I asked. I was just curious that if Kris was really in love with her, then why did he allowed her to even stayed together with me. Even though, it’s just 2 days.

“You think that I should? I didn't want to disturb him... Well, maybe I should call him now before he freak out.” Amber took out her phone and started calling Kris.

* So, she didn’t tell him yet… * No wonder she could come... If I'm Kris, I would definitely freak out knowing that she is going to stay with a guy. Just like how I knew about her living with Kris for the last 2 months. I wanted to freak out but I don't have any reasons for that.

“Weird… his phone was shut down. I guess he must be busy.” Amber pouted and shrugged as she put back her phone and continued, “Where am I? Oh yea, Kris was-”

“Noona!” I found myself raising my voice in frustration. I’m not sure why am I acting this way all of a sudden. I just do not want her to talk about that man in front of me.

I'm jealous, I'm freaking jealous of Kris that he had made Amber feel in love with him and her mind was so occupied with him.

“Yah, Kkamjong! I’m not deaf, why are you shouting into my ears?” She poked her finger into her ear.

“Noona… did you… by any chance treat me not as your brother?” I didn’t care about anything and asked while grabbing her wrist that her finger was poking into her ear so that she listened to me clearly. Her eyes were widely stared into mine while my eyes were staring into hers.

“Not as my brother? Whatcha talking about, silly! Of course, I treated you as my dongsaeng! You will always be my beloved dongsaeng forever!” She smacked my head lightly like I’m asking a stupid question.

As expected, her answer made my shoulders deflated. I knew exactly what to expect but I couldn’t help but felt disappointed.

“Noona, I’m a man now. Can’t you treat me like a man?” I said weakly, my voice was faint and I didn’t know if Amber actually heard what I had just said.

“Arhh… Noona knows that you are a man now! You are so masculine and matured now. Honestly speaking, you are definitely an attractive man but, you are still my cute dongsaeng no matter what. Noona wouldn’t disown you alright?” She chuckled.

* As usual, she is always so dense. This had never changed ever since young… *

There is no point for me to continue with this topic if I already knew what’s her answer. I would rather maintain our relationship like this… I’m scared that if I confess, I might even lose her as my noona. I might regret for not saying today, but I would rather regret than having an awkward distance with her…

“Noona, you are always sucha joker, you know…” I forced out a smile as I continued to bury my head while eating.

“I know right. Keke! Anyway, didn’t your leader say that you guys have a practice? Aren’t you going?” She asked.

* Actually, Suho hyung wanted to give me some individual time with you… *

“Yah, I am… you wanna come?” I asked. Maybe I should call them for a practice since tomorrow is our debut concert. Even though, Director Lee told us to rest for today but I guess, practicing once more wouldn’t hurt…

“Suree~” She smiled.

“Suho hyung… I’m bringing Amber to our dance studio… Please help me for this one time. Let’s practice a bit together…”

“Don’t worry… we are in fact practicing right now. That would be great if the two of you come and join us as well.”

“Really? That’s great! See you guys there…” I tried to sound happy to hyung so that he wouldn’t suspect anything but being the caring & observant umma of EXO-K, he immediately suspected, “Kai…did you managed to tell your feelings?”

“Hyung… even without asking, I already knew the answer… I knew exactly well... So, no point destroying the relationship we had now.” I replied plainly like nothing had just happened.

“Are you sure about your decision?”

“Never been so sure…” I smiled and Suho hyung who was the most understanding person I had ever met stopped the conversation and the two of us ended the phone call.
