Today’s vocal lesson! It’s my favourite lesson.

I can get to hear his sweet voice.

 

*flashback*

“Hi, is this…Haebyul?”

 

“Yes, you are?”

OH MY GOODNESS.

“Annyeong~ I’m Byun Baek Hyun! I will be your idol boyfriend~ Ah, there’s a special request isn’t it? I will be there at your vocal class, so make sure to come to school tomorrow ok?”

“Ne…” I replied.

 

*duuu* (Hangs up call)

 

“Is this real?! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!” I begin to run everywhere in my house.

 

“Oh my god! I can’t believe it!!!” I was SO near to screaming.

 

“YAH! Haebyul, shut the hell up will you?” My brother shouted at me.

 

“Oh my god!!!!!!” I was so happy I could jump over the moon.

 

“Haebyul!” My brother walked to me and held me firmly on the shoulders.

“Oppa!!!!” I hugged him.

 

“You’re crazy, Haebyul. What’s the matter?”

“Byun Baek Hyun is coming to my school tomorrow!” I swore my eyes were shining their brightest right now.

“You are really crazy over that guy aren’t you? Haiz.” My brother ruffled my hair and smiled.

 

“Oppa, hit me; I wanna know if this is a dream.”

*smack*

 

“AH! It hurts! Oh my god~~~~ this isn’t a dream!” I was hyperventilating.

“Calm down…” My brother shot me weird looks.

 

“I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep today…” My energy level peaked.

 

“Save that energy for tomorrow. You wouldn’t want your bacon to see your dark eye circles right?”

 

“Oppa…you’re right! I’ll go sleep now!” I ran back to my room.

“Hae Byul…you’re too innocent. I just hope that bacon isn’t a wolf under a sheep’s clothing.” My brother mumbled to himself.

(Next morning!)

 

What should I do? Should I tie up my hair? Wear lip gloss?

 

Ahhhh~ Baek Hyun…

 

I looked to my poster that I had at my wall.

(Exo-K’s poster…)

 

“My beloved Baek…”

 

Suddenly, my door opened.

“Sis…you’re creeping me out.”

 

It’s oppa.

“Mianhae. I got too excited.” I stuck out my tongue cutely.

“Uh, save the aegyo for the bacon alright. Don’t get all greasy on me.”

 

“Ok ok~ what are we having for breakfast~”

“Delicious pancakes. With BACON.” He smiled.

 

Both of us laughed.

“Oppa, you have to stop with the bacon jokes… It’s so bad but it’s so funny.”

“Sis, just put some lip balm and that will do. Hmmm, do you have BACON flavoured lip balm?” He wiggled his eyebrows.

 

“Hahahaha!” I laughed.

 

My weakness, is that I can laugh at just about ANYTHING.

“Ppali, alright.” My oppa, closed the door after saying that.

 

I listened to my oppa and put some lip balm.

Not bacon-flavoured obviously…

But strawberries.

 

I put my lip balm in my school bag.

“Gotta be prepared…”

 

(Reached school.)

 

“Today is going to be an awesome day.” I told my oppa.

“Yeah, good luck with that.” My oppa patted me on the head and we went separate ways.

 

I was just a few steps near to my class.

My heart suddenly pounded so fast.

 

Stupid heart…stop pounding so fast, I might just die!

 

I opened my classroom’s door.

And there he was.

 

In casual clothes but…so smoking hot.

 

He wore a blue checkered shirt with jeans.

“Annyeong~” He waved at me.

 

So hot…and cute!

Two buttons were ed.

 

Omg…I have to control myself and stop staring…

 

“Annyeong haseyo~” I gave him a small bow.

“Haebyul, is he your boyfriend?” One of my class-mate came over to me and asked.

 

Before I could even answer, my classmate made a face.

 

“Couldn’t be, he’s too hot for you.”

She left me with that.

 

I know it’s true but it still stings a bit.

“Is she always like that?” Baek Hyun asked.

 

“Yeah.” I replied.

“Anyways, I’m really happy that oppa could make it~” I gave him a smile.

 

“I say I would and I did it.” He smiled back.

Oppa’s smile…

 

“AHHHHH!!!!!!!!”

 

Suddenly, a group of girls surround Baek Hyun oppa.

I knew Exo was really really popular but…wow.

 

They started to “attack” oppa.

 

“Girls. Mianhae. Maybe next time? I’m on a really important date right now.” Baek Hyun flashed his killer smile.

The girls, although disappointed, they left happily.

“Oppa, you’re impressive…normally, they wouldn’t just go away so easily.”

“I don’t know…but that always works. Haha!” Baek Hyun oppa laughed.

“Can anyone tell me why is that guy in our class?”

Oh no. It’s the irritating , Yoon Jae.

 

He NEVER stops tormenting me!

Irritates me every day in class and he just won’t stop.

He saw me and gave me a “You, prepare to die.” face.

 

My life is sad whenever he appears.

 

“Haebyul, you alright? You look kinda pale.” Baek Hyun oppa said, looking worried.

“Ah, I’m just fine-”

 

*POOF*

This is why I hate HIM SOOOO MUCH.

 

I’m practically covered in flour.

He and his gang of childish asses decided on flour today.

 

“Haebyul, are you alright?” Baek Hyun oppa took out a handkerchief and patted the flour off my face.

 

“Haebyul, isn’t that the Byun Baek Hyun guy from exo? How did you get him here? Did your parents strike lottery or something?” He mocked at me.

 

Looking only at Baek Hyun oppa, I replied, “None of your business.”

 

“Oppa. I’m gonna go to the washroom. I’ll be right back.” I gave oppa an smile nevertheless.

Baek Hyun’s POV

 

Why are they treating Hanbyul like this…?

This isn’t right.

 

While I was in my thoughts, a teacher came in.

Of course, I’ve got the perfect excuse to stay.

 

Her teacher was so easy to talk to and everything worked out smoothly.

Then, Hanbyul came back.

 

It seems like she had expected the incident to happen and brought other extra set of uniform.

When I came back, Ms Lee was already back.

 

Ah, what should I say?

 

Looking at Baek Hyun oppa, he gave me a wink and a smile.

 

I was puzzled and still fangirls a little before hearing Ms Lee says…

 

“Class. Today we have the popular rookie group, Exo’s main vocalist with us.” Ms Lee said.

 

Huh?!

 

I looked at oppa again and he gave me an OK sign.

 

“Annyeong haseyo, I’m Byun Baek Hyun from Exo. Nice to meet you guys.” Baek Hyun oppa introduced himself.

 

“He will teach us how SM trained him during their vocal trainings, and many of you would like to know that right?”

“Ne!!” The class responded well.

 

“Good, so we’ll head to the music room now.” Ms Lee said.

 

Everyone was walking out of the classroom and well, I was the last one to go out.

I was almost out of the classroom when someone’s foot was in my way and I fell forwards.

 

(Yes, it’s that .)

“Caught you just on time.”

I closed my eyes when I fell but…

I felt that I’m leaning on something…

 

I opened my eyes.

“Shall we get going?” Baek Hyun oppa smiled.

 

I was…I was leaning on him!!

 

“Thank you very much, oppa.”

“It’s nothing. Let’s go~” He held my hand and swung it back and forth like a kid.

I can’t help but smile at him.

“Do Re Mi Fa So….”

The class was singing together.

 

“Ne. Quite good.” Ms Lee said.

“But, it can be better~ If you guys warmed up, it will sound much better. Do this!” Baek Hyun oppa started to do vocal warm ups and his serious face is really cute.

 

The whole class was quite cooperative and the harmonizing went quite well.

Then, Ms Lee said that she’ll be going to the washroom and will be leaving the class in oppa’s hands.

 

Oppa nodded and told her not to worry.

Oppa is such a reliable person~ ^-^

 

“Yah Hae Byul! Your singing !” Yoon Jae pointed to me.

Did…did I sound so bad?

 

“Really?” Baek Hyun oppa raised an eyebrow.

 

“Yeah, everyone sung but hers was so bad, my ears were gonna bleed! Haha!” Yoon Jae laughed.

 

Singing wasn’t my specialty and I didn’t really hear my singing coz’ we were harmonizing.

 

“You’re wrong.” Baek Hyun oppa said.

“W-what? I’m wrong?” Yoon Jae stuttered.

 

“Her voice is great.” Baek Hyun oppa went to me and held my hand.

“Just by talking to her, I knew that any notes she sung, would be like it was sung from an angel.” He continued.

 

Angel…?

 

“Oppa…you think too highly of me.” I mumbled.

But somehow, Yoon Jae heard me.

 

“See? She even admits her singing !” Yoon Jae said.

“If there’s anyone in the room that at singing that would be you.” Baek Hyun pointed at him.

 

“I can sing perfectly. La la la la LAAA-k” He sung off-key.

I tried to suppress my laughter.

 

“You know what? I believe, that only kind-hearted people would have angelic voices. Haebyul, sing.”

“What?” I gave him a “Are you serious?” face.

 

“Yes, I’m serious.” He replied.

“Sing.” He requested again.

 

Whyyyyyyyyy~

Argh. I’ll just die this once.

“I knew you can sing but I didn’t know it was to THIS level.” Baek Hyun oppa looked amazed.

 

Then the class clapped.

“I got goosebumps!” One classmate said.

“Haebyul, you’re really daebak!” Another gave me a thumbs up.

 

And…there’s Yoon Jae.

He is jaw dropped.

 

Baek Hyun smiled at Yoon Jae’s shocked expression and let go of my hand.

He walked to Yoon Jae and whispered something.

Yoon Jae blushed…

 

Just then, Ms Lee came back.

 

“Kids! How’s the lesson?”

“Haebyul can sing really well!”

 

“Ah? Really?” Ms Lee gave me a look which make me feel uncomfortable…

“Ms Lee, can you excuse Haebyul for the rest of the day?”

 

Huh?!

 

Baek Hyun oppa said that and Ms Lee gave him a curious expression.

“I need to bring Haebyul with me to SM. I think she has a high chance of getting in.” Baek Hyun said, and looked at me.

 

“Then go ahead then.” Ms Lee nodded.

“Thank you!” Baek Hyun oppa gave her a bow.

 

He came over to me and grabbed my wrist, ready to go but then stopped…?

“One more thing.” He said to me.

 

He pulled me to the female classmate that sneered at me in the morning.

“Haebyul is my girlfriend.”

 

“Liar. Nobody will believe that Haebyul can have-”

Baek Hyun oppa gave her a smirk.

 

Ooo~ that smirk…

 

He turned me to face him and lifted up my chin.

 

Oppa? Don’t tell me…

 

He leaned in and I closed my eyes.

 

I felt…the electrical shock that people say they would feel in the books…

 

Our lips brushed slightly.

Then, his lips left mine.

 

He looked at the female classmate and gave her a smug look.

“Is this enough for you? Anyways, I have to get going. Bye.”

 

He didn’t even wait for her response and dragged me with him.

Baek Hyun oppa looked skinny and all BUT his strength is scary!

 

He managed to bring me all the way to SM building.

 

“Oppa…”

“You scared? You shouldn’t be. You have such a great voice.” He gave me a reassuring smile.

 

“But…”

“No buts. Haebyul, you are perfect. You are cute, pretty, kind-hearted and have a frickin’ awesome talent in singing.”

 

My cheeks heated up.

“Look.” Baek Hyun cupped my cheeks and lifted my face up, to meet his eye level.

 

“You have nothing to lose. Well, you can gain something if you manage to get in.”

“What is that thing?”

 

“A real idol boyfriend.” He smiled.

 

“Baek Hyun oppa, you’re an angel…”

“Ani. You’re the angel that has fallen before me. I’m certain of it.”
