Donghae’s  P.O.V

“Welcome back Master.” The maids said as they came to welcome me.

That Tiffany is a traitor. Now I am not safe. With humans knowing my existence. Maybe I’ll just ask help with Jaejoong-hyung.

“Hae, you’re back?” Nichkhun asked to me anxiously.

“Obviously idiot.”

I saw him frown, as if he doesn’t want me to be here or rather something may be up.

“Yoona is upstairs. She got tired of making dumplings.” He said as he stared at the floor blankly. “I wonder why you’re here. No blood-drinking with the ?”

I did not answer. Why would I? It’s not my obligation after all.

“Hurry up and get her.” He said in a dangerously low voice.

I sighed and walked to the stairs which will lead me to Yoona’s bedroom

“Alright maids. Now we can all relax and look at the moon. So we can be together forever!” I heard him say.

Together forever?

Idiotic.

Yoona is a human. I’m a demon for hell’s sake.

I’ll live for another couple of hundred years in this form.

But Yoona?

In a few decades, she won’t be around anymore.

We won’t even be allowed to see the full moon together in a miniscule 150 years later.

There’s no way we can be together forever.

“Yoona!”

“Hae?” she stood up. “You’re here!”

I just nodded.

“Let’s watch the moon tonight. Be with me together forever.”

I sighed. Together forever?

“Ahh!” a voice said. “Stop cuddling!”

It was Nichkhun.

“Donghae, eat some dumplings.”

I took one. Yoona must have made it.

I took my first bite… and….

“SALTY!!!!!!!!!!”

“Now.  Let’s celebrate!” he said in a forced joyful voice which I hate. “The moon that comes only in 150 years.”

Together forever?

He led us to the rooftop. The place was quite beautiful with a lot of flowers. I wonder how Nichkhun could arrange those. He can’t even touch a flower.

I looked up and saw the glinting moon.

Beautiful.

“Now, we will be together forever.” She leaned at me. “Donghae.” And kissed my cheeks.

This is the full moon that only comes every 150 years.

“Yeah. Together forever.”

And hoping for a miracle isn’t a bad thing.
